HT5609 Body Glove 30 Pin Lightning Adaptar for iPhone5s

Hi I bought a Body Glove 30 Pin Lightning Adaptar for my iPhone5s & for some reason it does not work on my phone, it does how ever work on my friends iPhone5...? I bought it for my car radio as my radio is a media player docking staion & the original Apple adapter is too large. the body glove adapter is more slim line & has a AUX jack to add extra stability.
ANy sugestions? is it just a software issue or is it that the 5s only works with apple products only

Have you contacted Chrysler? Maybe they can help or there is a firmware update for the car system.
Sometimes this works:
- Reset car system
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
  - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
SOmetimes an iOS update breaks compatibility. In that case you have to wait for an iOS update or car firmware update

  • Is there going to be a FM car transmitter which works with lightning port for iPhone5?

I don't want to use my old one with an adaptor really because my old FM transmitter was a wireless one and was poor quality.

I've looked around and there currently isn't one planned, but I'd keep an eye on Belkin and Griffin Technology, they are the two companies most likely to make one.

  • Iphone 5c with 30 pin lightning adaptor wont work on my sony clock dock?

Have a Sony ICf c7ip clock radio dock which works no problem with ipod touch. Plays music through speaker on clock.  Bought 30 pin lightning lead to use with iphone 5c, but nothing?  Why won't this work. Apple shop say it should, but it doesn't.

For anyone else, I contacted Life Fitness, they told me that the issue is the new lightning plug to 30 pin adapter.  On Life Fitness equipment with the old 30 pin plugs the adapter only transmits analog not digital signal.  So music will play but none of the other options that require digital connections work.

  • Can I control my iphone from an accessory using the 30 pin/lightning adapter?

I want to use my old accessories to control an iPhone 5s (e.g. skip tracks using my dock remote control), does the 30 pin/lightning adapter work for this or is it just for charging/audio out?

It depends on if your carrier allows it or not.

See if this helps .... Reset the iPad.
Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider bar - let go of the buttons and let the iPad start up. Then check your emails.

  • Can we do with a 16 pin terminal base for fp-tc-120?

i got a thermocouple module for my project. The terminal base contains only 16 pins. Is there ne solution for this or shud we get a 32 pin terminal base ?

The 16 pin terminal base is the FP-TB-3. It is specifically designed for use with the FP-TC-120. The FP-TC-120 requires pins 1-16 for input channels 0-7. Pins 17-32 are not required. The FP-TC-120 will work with any of the FP-TB-X terminal bases.

    Hi e00ricaCuba
I can't really suggest anything to you from the top of my head. Have you tried checking with the manufactorer of the IC? For the LM3905N I belive National Semiconductors is the manufactorer.

    - While charging try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Next try restoring the iPod via iTunes.  First from backup and if still problem restore to factory defaults/new iPod.
    - However, I really think that the iPod has a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.  If defective Apple should give you a refurbished iPod.

  • Lightning Arrestors for 3G Antennas

    CSC,
I have a question on the lightning arrestors for 3G antennas. I think I may have found a typing error in the technical data. We have purchased a 3G-ANTM-OUT-COMBO which comes with a 3G-ANTM-OUT-OM outdoor omni-directional antenna and a lightning arrestor. The lightning arrestor in the COMBO is a AIR-ACC245LA-R, as shown in the link below:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/lightning_arrestor/installation/guide/hslar.html
On inspection of figure 1 in the link, it shows that the protected side is the TNC male end, the one with the thread for the ground lug. The one I have received, although it has the same part number, has the thread for the ground lug on the TNC female end.
When searching cisco.com for further information on the correct installation of the lightning arrestor, I found the following 3G-ACC-OUT-LA product. See link below:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/wireless/hardware/notes/3glar.html
Looking at figure 1 on the above link, the lightning arrestor looks like the one I have received. The table for figure 1 indicates that the protected side is labelled as 4, the TNC female end, but the technical specifications state that the protected side is the TNC male.
Can someone please clarify if this is a potential error and what the correct orientation should be. I am assuming that the TNC male end should be the protected side, so that you can either attach it to the 3G device e.g. router or use an interconnection cable e.g. 3G-CAB-ULL-20. The cable comes with a TNC male and TNC female at either end.
    Kind regards,
    Ian

From an electrical engineering perspective assume we have 3 points of entry to the 1522, power, data and antenna. Each of these can transmit a lightning surge to downstream devices ie a switch or an upstream device the ap.
Generally the antenna will be the most vulnerable point of the installation to lightning strikes. If there is no surge suppression between the antenna and the ap then the ap can be damaged, also it can potentially transmit that surge down the data cabling, assuming the power cabling is protected as you say it should protect in both directions on the power side, but not always.
This probably means it can manage surges into the ap from the power side from a strike to transmission equipment and the transient overvoltages that may be caused.
Worst cast scenario your antenna gets a direct hit, the ap fails, the voltage is transmitted down the data cabling and takes out the 6500 its directly connected to! Nobodies going to say you done a great job and were just unlucky and you wont be winning any popularity contests
Its a question of risk, with an inline arrestor on the antenna cable you are protecting your ap etc. If its on a building and not the highest point its unlikely to get a direct hit. If its on a lighting column and the antenna is the highest point its possible. How much lightning do you get?
    Not sure thats any help!

  • Need 50-pin connector pin assignment list for valuemotion NuDrive 4SX-411

    Hi,
I need a copy of the 50-pin connector pin assignment list for the valuemotion NuDrive 4SX-411.   I have the 321942B-01 User Guide document, but it does not contain the pin assignement list.   I can't find the information on NI's website.
    David Geminden

You can find the pin assignment in the user manual of the PCI-7314/7324 ValueMotion controller. On page 38 in this document there is the 50 pin assignement of these boards, that is compatible to your NuDrive. Please note that this is the pin assignment from the controller's point of view.
    I hope this helps,

  • The lightning connector for the iPod touch 5th Generation jiggles

The lightning connector for the iPod touch 5th Generation jiggles just slightly up and down in the iPod itself. I think the lightning connector is slightly smaller than the port which is why it jiggles, but I am not sure. Can you guys confirm my theory, or did I damage it.
    Thanks for any help.

    Could be either.
    Try another cable

  • TS3581 Crackling static noise in audio with 30 pin lightning adapter when battery is full

Anyone else get a really bad crackling static noise through the audio when using the 30 pin lightning adapter and the battery is almost full? I am using an iPhone 5, BMW iDrive with the Y audio and USB connection. I did not have this problem with the 4S and the normal 30 pin connector. The lilghtning 30 pin adapter seems to create interference when the phone's battery is nearly full. I also see the warning message indicating that charging is not supported - and according to the troubleshooting guide this is normal - but what about the noise????

Alright, another update:   I tried another iPhone 5, which did not charge, and an iPod touch (without the lightning adapter, obviously), which also did not charge.  Additionally, I tried the lightning to 30-pin adapter with an old sync cable and my computer, and it worked fine.  At this point, it appears that the problem may be in the MDI cable coming from the car, rather than the adapter.  Perhaps it was just coincidental that it stopped working at the same time I upgraded.
