How do I access app updates with an id that is no longer valid and have changed to new id? when updates appear I'm asked for PW for old id that is no longer active.

If you changed your Apple ID to using a different (non-Apple) email address as the ID at http://appleid.apple.com then the ID itself is the same and you can continue to use and update apps exactly as before. You will need to log out and log in again using the new login address.
However if you opened a new Apple ID with a different email address you cannot transfer purchases of any type from one account to another and will have to re-purchase them.

Unless I misunderstand the question, you can't do what you're asking to do. Apple doesn't allow you to bypass their store and host public apps on a website. The exception is an enterprise app, which requires an Enterprise account with both Apple and Adobe. This type of enterprise app can be distributed only within the company. Another option is to add the development app to several devices and use those for your demo.

I want to purchase a subscription of Brain Pop. I have it free under another iTunes account and want to purchase it under my newer acct. The message comes up as already purchased in app store.

If I were in that situation, I would use a computer. There you could sign in to iTunes, and "gift" the purchase from the account that currently has it free to the newer account. You would do this by finding it in the iTunes App Store, and then clicking the down-facing arrow to the right of the "downloaded" button.

You can move apps around in iOS 7 the same as iOS 6. Press an app icon until you see it wiggle; then drag it to where ever you want it to be. Drag it onto another app to create a folder with the two apps. Tap the Home button to stop the wiggle.

Apps in "purchased" are not mine!

Many apps are showing up in my "purchased" apps for iPhone and iPad which I am certain I have not downloaded. Has this happened to anyone else? Also, is there any way to find out from apple the IP screws where these were downloaded from, or perhaps the devices MAC address?

The apps it shows in the purchased area are apps that were downloaded using your AppleID. Its not device specific, so if there is more than one device on the acocunt, you may not recognize purchases. Apple usually won't release IP addresses without a subpoena.

What I do when I get a new computer is the first time I turn it on is use Setup Assistant. Once Setup Assistant has finished doing its thing, the new computer is just like my old one.

On the premise that an application is irrevocably tied to an Apple ID it was purchased from, I want to pose another scenario similar to the original question of this post.
A small business purchased a Mac for a specific purpose. Given that no one in the business is savvy enough for Mac systems, they hire a consulting IT. IT then sets up the Mac and all the apps that came with it (and here's where the problem starts) under his Apple ID. Now that the IT consultant no longer services the business, he takes with him the rights for two apps, specifically iPhoto and iMovies, at the business' expense. He also needs to remove the Mac that's tied to his Apple ID but that's only secondary issue as admin rights on the device was retained. Two generations of OS X's later, with the current update Yosemite, those two programs are now inoperable. One might suggest to call back the IT and update the programs himself but that's beside the point. Terms and conditions were set to protect these apps from unlawful sharing, but in this case, an application was purchased by a user not using his own finances.
It's no longer a question on whether we could move an application from one Apple ID to another but I wish Apple can find a way to protect their consumers from unethical practices such as this.

Is there any way for me to keep track of how much i have spent on apps ? i purchase an app or two every other day and i get my bills in my email, but i get them every other day aswell but i dont want to have to look at the 15 different emails i have and add up the tally . Is there a way to see how much i have spent in apps ? is there a way to see on itunes or perhaps in an App ? This is important to know for us app-aholics that purchase an app here and there because they can add up real quick . And if this app doesnt exist yet, can someone make one and give me 50% of teh profits ? everyone would get this app manager app

i found a way to see purchase history all in one page. i go to itunes, then in the "store" tab i click "view my account" and then click "purchase history" . So now im still wondering is there is an app to do this

When I submit a music disc to be copied into my iTunes library, the order of the tracks is scrambled. How can I fix this so that the album track order in my library matches that of the cd itself?

Click the heading above the left most column of numbers.
Regardless of the order displayed during the rip the tracks should be correctly sorted when the library is sorted by Album, Album by Artist or Album by Artist/Year. Sorting on any other column will give different results. See Grouping tracks into albums for details.

That's correct. iTunes will delete any apps you have not downloaded through your own iTunes account. If you did use your own iTunes account, choose iTunes > File > Transfer purchases... to move the apps into your own iTunes Library.

Re-download the apps through your own iTunes account (pay for them if necessary). Apps cannot be shared between different iTunes user accounts.

Well, the best way is to restore the backup that you made before you reformatted the Windows machine.
Barring that, open iTunes, go to Preferences, Devices, and check the box to disable automatic sync. Then connect the phone to your computer, and go to the File menu, Devices/Transfer Purchases. This should copy all of the iTunes content on your phone to your computer.
