HT5622 I want to use free apps on my Ipad and do NOT wish to submit a credit card to Itunes. My Apple Id works, but won't let me migrate past the credit card phase in itunes. I don't wish to sumbit or use a credit card because I will not make purchases.
I want to use free apps on Ipad 2, but it continually asks me to submit a credit card in Itunes. I do not wish to purchase anything apps or music. I am only interested in free apps. If I were to make purchases, I would use a prepaid card like an itunes card or an app card, but NEVER a credit card. I can't seem to bypass this option of using a credit card and need to. I have another Ipad 4 and have never needed to use my credit card to migrate past itunes to use any apps. How do I get past this credit card request and still use my ipad 2. According to my Ipad 2, if I don't plug in a credit card, I can't even use free apps which is stupid.
You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)
2. Go to App Store and select a free app
3. Tap INSTALL APP
4. Create New Apple ID
5. Confirm Your Country
6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
8. Create and answer your secret question
9. Select NONE for Payment Method
10. Fill in Billing Address
11. Submit application for new Apple ID
12. Wait for verification email
13. When email arrive, verify your account
14. Start downloading your free apps

Settings>Store>Your Apple ID - tap the ID and then sign out.
I only have one app in the Newsstand folder - the Sports Illustrated app. I have never gotten this message about connecting to iTunes so I'm not sure what that is all about. I would quit the Newsstand app and the other apps and the restart the iPad and see of that helps.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesnt work, reset the iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
Hi guys, I've been having troubles with my search bar for searching media in itunes. It worked a while ago but now when I search it brings up results and the results I want but it won't let me click them for anything. I can't go to the song, album or artist or add it to the song queue. It's really annoying to go through my library and search for a specific song without using the search. Please Help!

a lot of apps or processes running, it really causes the system lag. Try holding down the top button and home button at the same time. Then wait until it has powered down. In 60 sec or so, restart it the same way. Should fix your issue. There is an app I use called Lite Scan. It allows me to see what is running and it will free up 30mg at a time. Not much granted but enuf to keep the system from going to a crawl.
as far as your device in itunes goes, open itunes, without your phone connected. look in the advance settings and make sure everything is as it should be. Back up your data and try again. good luck -
I have folders on my iPad mini that group specific things such as weather and news in one folder, game apps in another folder etc. When I go into my news and weather, for an example, and chose a news I find when I close that news, it also closes the folder. I want to go to the next news application but I can't because the folder closes and I have to open the folder again and then I get to pick the next app. I feel like all I do is click click click on this iPad. I find it to be very ridiculously inefficient and shortsighted when it comes to getting from one place to another.
I'm not sure what you are doing but on my iPad running iOS 7.1 I do not see that behavior. If I open a folder, start an app, and then close that app by clicking the Home button I am returned to the app screen with the app folder still open and ready to select another app.

Auto Vector Mask won't let me get past the dialog box
Something funny started happening a few weeks back- When I try to apply an auto vector mask, I hit 'Apply' and the dialog box stays there. If I continue to press 'Apply', it will affect the mask, but I can't get past the dialog box. The 'Cancel' button still works. I've gone as far as reinstalling Fireworks CS5, and the hiccup remains....
Resolved- I had locked down the the #Shared Objects folder, so Flash Player couldn't write to it. Whoops. Thanks anyway, maybe this will help someone in the future!

I just purchased and IPod Shuffle (4th gen.) and can't get it running. I have gone through all of the help available. It shows up in my device manager, but needs a USB driver. It will find it online, but says an error has occurred and access is denied instead of installing. I bought this for a last minute trip with teenagers and I have spent hours on this. I am running Windows 7 and have tried disabling the firewall.

App store works, but won't let me download or look at reviews
The app store loads fine, but when I go to an app's info, I can't download or look at the reviews. However, I was able to update some apps without a problem.
Go to the developers website (if there is one) and see if there is another way to acquire the application.

You don't need an international credit card, to be able to buy items from your country's store (you can't use another country's store) the card needs to have been issued by a bank in your country and be registered to your name and address. Are you saying that iTunes needs your credit card number to be able to download the app? If so you can give your credit card number to iTunes/Apple.

If you can you can choose the None option and only put the card info in when you want to buy something. It also makes your account less suceptable to hackers as there is nothing that they can use to buy anything. -

I think that the trick to this is that you have to try to download a free app in order to get the iTunes store to ask you to create the account.

The option supposed to be in Settings>General>Cellular>Cellular Data---Off & Enable 3G---Off
I think you'd better check the settings in Privacy>Location Services.
Some items in it need Cellular data like"setting time zone" and "Find my iPhone'. -

We have created an application using forms5 that uses an LOV with the Filter Before Display set to Yes. A user enters in a filter and then selects the find button and the LOV displays the appropriate list. If then the user accidently selects the find
