Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I have just had a good chat with an Adobe live chat person. He has explained to me why I am getting the U44M1P7 error.
I have a perpetual version of CS6 that I bought earlier in the year. The creative cloud update only applies to versions of CS6 that have been downloaded via creative cloud. The error means I am trying to update a version of CS6 (my perpetual copy) that has aleady been updated.
I have version 13.0.4 and the update is 13.1.2. If I want the update I have to uninstall CS6 from my computer (my perpetual version) and download CS6 from creative cloud. Then I will be able to have the updates.

You would need to upgrade to Mavericks to upgrade iMovie to the version now on the App Store.

What is the latest iOS for iPad 2? Is it iOS 7 or can you update to 8?
all I remember is that my iPad mini performed poorly under iOS 7. Try to update it to the very latest version. Also you will have to use iOS 8.1.3, because 8.1.2 is no longer signed in case you were trying to install that. You can get the latest IPSW from http://IPSW.me just enter in your device and it will forward you to the right Apple ios download link.
Another thing is keeping your device memory free, if you have a 16 gig device, it's harder to keep space free. my iPad mini is 16 gig, but all I can ever keep free is 1 GB so I keep it at that. Turn off "iCloud photo sharing beta" and that will help a little bit. also when you do a restore from iTunes, don't restore your backup right away, see how it performs fresh, and then add your apps back in one at a time you might have to sacrifice photos and other personal things for performance.

The use of iMessage depends on both the sender and the receiver having an active data connection. If either of the two connections are interrupted, the message can fail. Okay, after many (MANY) tries I finally managed to download the itunes program. I have dial up, and I was continuously disconnected while downloading, so I ended up taking my handy-dandy memory stick to a friend's and downloaded the entire 35.1 MB files in 20 minutes. However, once I loaded it onto my own computer at home, I am unable to run the program. I click, nothing happens. I go to Add/Remove programs, try to do it that way, it finds the programming, but then does NOTHING. I've made sure that I am logged on as owner/administrator, tried so many other tricks I can't remember them all, what else can I do?

I had itunes played from my PC to my music system that is connected through a nework. It use to work fine, but now I get an error message that say "An error occured while connecting to the Airplay Device "Stereo". An unknown error occured (-15000)".

This has happened before and for reasons unknown to me, the problem corrects itself, then it starts again/ Makes me wish I did not have my music on itunes.

This is typically caused by a firewall or Internet security software running on your PC. Please read the comments in "Error -3256 or -15000 when streaming to AirPort Express base stations using iTunes".
Also there is "iTunes 8: Unknown error -15000 when attempting to stream music to devices connected to AirPort Express with AirTunes".

Have you checked to see what the Partition Map is? It sounds like, and this is a stab in the dark, that you might not be set on a GUID format.
To check, go into Disk Utility and highlight the drive you want to use. in the bottom of the Disk Util box, you will see the details of the disk itself. Check to see if it is GUID, listed under Partition Map Scheme.
If it is then you have a different issue and one that I am unable to answer. If it isn't then you will need to back any data up from the drive you want to use and reformat the disk to GUID. This should then correct the install issue you are experiencing. Reformatting is relatively easy, just following the prompts in the Partition Tab, in Disk Util.
However, to reiterate, back up any data ypou wish to keep prior to this! Reformatting will wipe the disk completely.
