Html emails are not displaying. they just show the code. text emails don't display at all. what's up?
suddenly today my email won't display properly. html emails just display the actual html code instead of a graphic display. Text emails just show a blank page. I have changed the View setting to show messages as original html, simple html and plain text. None of the settings restores things. All these emails were viewable properly yesterday.
Anyone got any ideas as to what's up?
sounds like your index and the data are out of synch. Often the result of anti virus activity either blocking the update of the index or quarantining the whole inbox so there is no mail left to display.
Right click the folder, select properties and then the repair button.

You should buy Compressor it never fails. It is a must have. I have given up using this buggy Share function and use Compressor all the time.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Try and force your iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost. -
I was able to do all https sites before. Recently I have notied that whenever I go to any https site , the site is not displayed at all.

funny thing is I can't even go to http://www.apple.com
I get blank page and the browser keeps spinning.

thank you so much for your help.Those sites display correctly provided they supply HTTPS. Which Yahoo does (HTTPS) and Apple doesn't on their main page (it's HTTP), but the forums here are HTTPS.
Go to your KeyChain Access.
Under Preferences > Certificates set the following
1: Best Attempt
2: Best Attempt
3: OCSP
Reboot the machine.
When you request a secure site it will check the certificates immediately instead of using Apple's outdated lists which require Apple to include them in a Software Update.
If someone is using these outdates certificates maliciously then that's likely the problem.
Also install the HTTPS Everywhere Add-on for Firefox, to ask websites to provide HTTPS. They always can't do it because of third party unencrypted content.
Also when that's finished. Run all the cleaning and maintenance aspects of the free OnyX and reboot (you can cancel reboots in between jobs)
Does a good job of cleaning out gremlins.

Some fine line Graphics and shading are not displaying at all with OS X Yosemite
Our team is working on a new website layout. It is being developed in photoshop and then saved as a jpeg for review. All of the fine gray lines, boarders and some shading does not display at all. If I save a screen shot and mouse over to choose the screen shot all of the missing lines and shading appear correctly when holding down command-shift-4 to choose the screen shot. After the screen shot is chosen the saves screen shot still does not display the correct lines and shading. Anyone know what is going on? The jpegs are displaying correctly on my iphone and all other Mac Desktop operating systems.
So I returned the previous scanner and purchased the Epson Perfection V600 Photo. I'm still having the same problems and I downloaded the latest driver for it. I also downloaded the driver for my previous Canon Scanner before I returned it. It wasn't working the way I wanted it to work.
It wasn't the scanner after all but I do like the epson better. When I get it to scan, it's scans faster and has more resolution options.

Basically I want to be able to scan in Photoshop CC but it's not working the way it used to in previous machines/OSs/photoshops.
I used to be able to go FILE>IMPORT>SCANNER NAME and then continually scan until I was finished. That is not the case and I have noticed it's a problem throughout when doing some research to fix it. I can scan continually if I got to my system preferences, select the "PRINTERS and SCANNERS" and then click "Open scanner".
In photoshop CC I can only get one scan and then I have to close photoshop if I want to do another scan. It's annoying knowing that I was able to in previous machines. Any solutions or plug-ins that I'm missing?

Webpages are not displaying at all
Recently, when I open any webpage, it doesn't display. I can type in the browser but nothing shows and when I actually type something (example: Google.com), it says at the bottom taskbar that Google is open but I don't see anything (i.e. the whole page is not displaying in any webpage and even when I try to go to Options or anything it doesn't show). The screen is just black but the browser is active somehow. I need to fix this urgently please as I have many saved bookmarks and passwords on there which I need to use everyday. Thank you.

I have two add-ons that are enabled AND working but they are their icons are not displaying.
I have Firebug and Adblock-Plus on my Firefox browser that are not displaying their normal shortcut buttons next to the search bar of Firefox. They were displaying fine yesterday, now today they are not displaying at all. They are installed and enabled. There were no changes on my end (user end), that could explain this occurrence. No new addons installed. No new plugins. Any help would be grateful.
I have Firebug and am on Ubuntu at present, so my options may differ slightly from Windows, and over time the Firebug options probably have changed.
If you reset the toolbars to default settings by resetting localstore.rdf you may need to make some changes to recreate whatever you had before.
I may display a full Firebug toolbar with keyboard key F12. That toolbar includes several display options from clicking the firebug icon. I also have Firebug showing as an option from
* Tools -> WebDeveloper -> Firebug.
If I use the customise toolbars option; for example from right clicking an empty space on a toolbar; the palette of icons includes one for Firebug that I may place where I like. If you try to create a custom toolbar remember it needs to be populated, if it has nothing on it it will not display.
P.S.
Presumably you are able to use Firebug, it is just an icon that you are missing ? is that correct ? -

Why are my JPEG exports from Lightroom 4 are not displaying on other computers?
When I export JPEGs from Lightroom, they display fine on my computer but when I send them to the client, they are not displaying at all. There is a message saying that the software on the clients computer may not be up to date so I tried updating their software but to no avail.
I know, it's strange. I've never encountered it before. They are definitely JPEGs, although I don't know if the difference between JPGs and JPEGs is anything to consider.
On my computer, 2008 MacBook Pro, OS 10.8.3, they display through Preview. Also, when I upload them to Dropbox, the thumbnails display correctly. I have transferred them to a USB key as my client was not tech savvy enough to grasp Dropbox. When I brought the USB Key to the client and transferred to her MacBook Air, neither the thumbnails nor the photos themselves displayed. I also tried transferring to her PC and the same result.
I was trying to contact Adobe support to see if this was a problem other people had experienced. -

file using a relative path as img="images/img.gif". It is as if
the web server gets confused and does not know that the images
should be based in the war2 application and is looking for them
in the war1 application.
I do not want to store the absolute path in the definition of
the image (i.e., img="war2/images/img.gif").
I am using WLS6.0sp1. What could be wrong?

the compiler states the import.org.apache.xmlbeans cannot be resolved.

I have restored my new replacement iPhone from my latest iCloud back up. However my camera roll pictures are not displaying. Its not saying I don't have any pictures in my camera roll, it has all the spaces for them, but it just shows empty white squares? How do I get my pictures back? Thanks!
It's difficult to say whether it's stuck or not as the time to restore a backup can depend on many factors. You'll have to decide when you think it's just not continuing. You could try turning the phone off (hold the power button until you see the red off slider, then slide to turn off), then back on to see if that would get it going again.
When you're convinced it's just hung, you can go back to settings and tap Stop Restoring iPhone to stop the restore. You'll then have to try restoring it again (Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup). Be sure it's connected to your charger and wifi while it's restoring the backup.
You might also try the approach posted here by ezjules: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19518589#19518589. This seems to have worked for some people who had trouble restoring their photos from an iCloud backup.
