Html newsletters displayed in Email

This seems like an easy topic but it is not to be found in
these forums. I contantly get emails that display an html page when
opened. They are linked to the sender's site to get the images. I'm
on a Mac, how do I make my email newsletter display in emails my
clients get? I have the newsletter up on a server now ready to
download but how do I get the viewers email program to download and
display it automatically? I'd rather they don't have to click on a
link to see it.

1. Upload all of your cotent to the site.
2. navigate to that page.
3. click ctrl +A to select the entire page.
4. now click ctrl + c to copy the page.
5. now paste it into your email and your done.
Note: Make sure your images have the full url reference to
them. You can do this quickly with the find/replace function.
So your images should go from:
/images/imagename.jpg
to
http://www.yoursitename.com/images/imagename.jpg

  • Using html in a workflow email

    Hi.
    Does anyone know if there's a way to use html in a workflow email so the the html tags are rendered and not displayed literally? I'm trying to include an a href tag so that the email just displays the hyperlink in the email and not the big long ugly url that I'm referencing. I thought maybe there was a function that would allow the html to "execute" but I cannot seem to find one.
    Thanks for any help you can offer!

    Hi Taier,
    For this issue, I recommend to verify the things below for troubleshooting this issue:
    What are the OS used in your phone and tablet? Does this issue occur with all the phones or tablets? I recommend to check the email with another phone or tablets to narrow doen the issue scope.
    What email client is used in your phone?
    What HTML tags did you used in your email template?
    Here is a link about some reasons about blank email in mobile for your reference:

  • Cant view html newsletters in mail

    I can seem to be able to view html newsletters in Mail. It strips all the images and formatting only shows links and text. I usually have to click the link found in the text where you can view it online to see the proper formatted document.
    Funny thing is that i used to be able to view them and it seems that all of a sudden i cant view them any more. I havent changed any settings (i dont remember if mail has updated recently but i usually do the updates as soon as i am prompted). The only thing i can see in Mail Preferences that may relate to this is under Viewing where is says "Display remote images in HTML messages" which is already checked.
    I am on Leopard with Mail 3.2
    Any clues anyone?

    I experience the same problem. Mail.app indicates that it can not display html and refers to a url. Strange enough, this also happens with messages sent by Apple.
    I am using Leopard with Mail 3.3

  • HTML Newsletters

    Hi,
    I was just thinking about the best way to go about
    redesigning an HTML newsletter that a client of mine has been
    sending out via email while also hosting an archived version of all
    past newsletters on the main web site. The site I'm redesigning
    right now is currently using php to include header and footer
    content and one CSS file throughout the entire site for easy
    updating, but from what I understand, I'm going to need to create
    each newsletter as a separate HTML document with tables (instead of
    divs) and CSS included right in the <head>.
    My question is: What might be a good way to go about creating
    a series of HTML Newsletters (without using mailchimp) that would
    be easiest to manage content and update styles? Also, can an
    emailed HTML Newsletter have a link to an external style sheet, or
    is it better to include the CSS right in the head of each document?
    I'm trying to come up with a way to NOT have to create two
    separate versions of each newsletter (one for the web site and one
    for emailing) but I'm just not sure there's any way around that.
    Anybody out there have any expert advice?
    Thanks,
    ~Greg

    Why no mailchimp?

    You mean for the archives? For the email, you wouldn't use
    CSS in the
    head - it would be in the body (even inline). But your use of
    CSS in the
    email should be minimal, if you are wanting the broadest
    email client
    support.

    > external style sheet
    No.

    It would have to be in the body of the page, not the head.

    I have searched high and low and have not found out how to rectify this issue, and it is the same in Outlook, i know i need to test this across as many email clients as possible which i will do when i am with the client but i need some info now so i can try and understand and overcome.

    In Mail 3.6 remote images in HTML messages display as blue squares with ? even though checked in viewing references.

    Nurit,
    The point is that that button should not be there, if the preference setting is as you say. This indicates the preference setting is stuck, and that is what I was trying to help you resolve.
    The full purge is done as follows:
    Quit Mail, and in the Finder open Home/Library and locate the Mail folder. Control-click over the Mail folder, and choose Duplicate -- then drag the resulting copy to the Desktop for temporary backup. Next, open Home/Library/Preferences and find the com.apple.mail.plist file and drag it to the desktop.
    Relaunch Mail, which will open as though new, and when prompted to import anything DECLINE. Instead, re-enter your account info, and Mail will re-discover the account folders for your accounts, and all should be well, after setting preferences as you desire.
    Ask any needed questions, and keep us posted.

  • HTML code displays on one line in browser view source

    Hi,
    In Dreamweaver, my HTML code displays returns, spaces, etc. However, in the view source option in a browser (Firefox in particular), all the code is displayed on one single line. I only found about this because I was having problems with my Google Ads not displaying. (A Google customer service person helped me to find a workaround for this since I still haven't figured how to get my code to display correctly.) So I have gone to Preferences in DW and changed my Code Format Line Break type. The result is the same with each of the three options: the code is all on one line when you check it under view source in a browser. (The server is Linux.)
    Does anyone know how to fix this? Also, I think I know how this happened in the first place. I copied my code to TextEdit for a quick backup the other day, and then I pasted it back to DW. Bad idea? Is the only way to get the code back to normal to re-write it in a new HTML file in DW?

    Pssh. Problem solved, but I'm not quite sure how. I did go back and try to clean up some redundant CSS and other things, but the HTML/CSS validator still shows that I have this one invalid <header> tag (www.nextmontenegro.com), but since that was written as part of the DW template, I just left it. Weird. Anyway, the code flows down the page now.
    Thanks for the quick replies and helpful hints:-)

    Email address hacked via iphone. iphone locked home screen displaying my email password! and has been reset. now unable to restore iphone, saying i do not have permission

    If you don't know your password, don't know your security questions and don't have a rescue address or don't receive a reset email, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
    If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.

    Awesome.  Rebooting the phone worked.  I had never turned the phone off before (for the next guy - you hold down the "sleep" button for longer than you'd think and that'll do a full shutdown).  thank you for your help.

  • Help! How to send Dynamic HTML table as an email?!

    hi
    i want to send a dynamic html table as an email
    i am using php/mysql and have a mysql database
    i have a dynaimc table contins some data from the database
    i have a form with textbox to write the email in and a submit button
    i want to send the the table (or the information in the table) when i submit the form
    is that possible???
    plz help!

    Ok, now I have you.  You create a queary to select the data you want, then use this code
    $data = mysqli_query($dbc, $query) or die(mysqli_error($dbc));
    while ($row = mysqli_fetch_array($data))    {
    //Sending Email to form owner
    $header = "From: [email protected]\n"
      . "Reply-To: $email\n";
    $subject = "Data From DB into email";
    $email_to = "[email protected]";
    $message =
    $row['first_name'].
       $row['last_name']
    mail($email_to, $subject ,$message ,$header ) ;
    So for each column, you will enter this
    $row['first_name'].
    So if the column is state, you would put
    $row['state'].
    Hopefully this is the answer you were looking for.
