Html5 page vertically distorts image in fx only fine in all other browsers!
john-law.net/projects/lbox/ is an example file.
No distortions in mac safari, chrome or win7 explorer, chrome.
I've tried everything I can think of - installed a fresh copy of fx 22, restarted in s mode, cleaned up with applejack then progressively commented out parts of the html5 page then the xml then the css.
I remember something like this with earlier versions of fx so I tried changing the doc type to earlier html versions in BB Edit. Nothing works!
Suggestions welcome.

*Hold down the ''Shift'' key and click the ''Reload'' button with a left click.
OR
*Press ''Ctrl'' + ''F5'' or ''Ctrl'' + ''Shift'' + ''R'' (Windows and Linux)
*Press ''Command'' + ''Shift'' + ''R'' (Mac)

Rollover only works on the border in internet explorer but works fine in all other browsers
I created an aerial map and on specific areas I created a rollover, meaning when you rollover an the image of exp. a house a picture of the house pops up in bigger. Vertical Spry Menu-IE alters positioning. How do I fix this? Works in all other browsers correctly.
I've recently uploaded a new website and am having a glitch with internet explorer with the vertical spry menu. It appears perfectly in all other browsers. I had added css rules to move up some of the longer submenus so they would all appear on the screen without needing to scroll down on the main page to view them. In internet explorer, it positions the top menu item, but the rest of the list does not follow in suit. Any ideas? This is super frustrating! Thanks!

I see now and it's really a little crazy, because the menus are there, just not where they should be.
I still need to investigate the matter thoroughly a little more closely, because I never saw it till now. Too bad that Gramps has not seen the thread, I'm convinced he will do the trick immediately! Youtube has no page style in Firefox, but works on all other browsers.
Since yesterday I have not been able to use Youtube. Not only does the site itself have no page style, but Youtube videos embedded on other sites don't show up either. Youtube works fine on the other browsers I've tried (IE, Chrome, and Opera). I've already checked, I don't have page styles disabled for Youtube.

I wrote two mobile pages with dreamweaver cs5.5 and jquery. Both do online calculations. Both appear and accept input. One page using jquery datepicker does not calculate. Solely in Firefox. IE9, Safari, Chrome display correct results. Debuggers show no error. Firebug seems telling me that Firefox does not get a result from datepicker function.
Thanks. But did not help. I had done this several times before, reload, clear cache, disable extensions etc. Always used standard theme. I tried the same on two different machines, with next to last version and after having installed the latest version. In the debugger I can see that variables "zeit1" (jquery datepicker) were not filled with the datepicking results, while in all other browsers zeitX shows the current date and the app shows the results that are expected. Given that another comparable app - only without date and datepicker functions - works in Firefox I think one should explore why solely datepicker - or the function using datepicker - does not show results solely in Firefox on desktop (no mobile device with Firefox on hand) . I indeed believe that there is a mistake in my code which is detected only by Firefox (10.0.2 at the present time, with Win7 64bit - had the problem with 3.6... on another machine). Given that you could run the app with results on your machine: could it be the context of locale/culture (here: de)?

My Firefox ver. 3.6 stopped loading pages of any kind. Even Google or Facebook! I don't know how this happened. May it is because I tried to download a program that didn't even open up.... But I don't know how to make it work. All other browsers work normally, and I'm scanning for viruses even though my anti-virus did not warn me of anything... My iPad Mini with retina display suddenly will not connect to the Internet. It shows full wifi bars, yet no web pages will load. My Internet is working with all other apple devices in my house. The iPad also no longer works with celluar data. I'm not sure what has happened. It was working fine a few hours ago. I have tried resetting it, ive restarted my browser etc. I tried to erase all data from my Ipad but I can't do that because it needs to sign into my Apple ID and use the Internet!
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. On my website dominictwistphoto.com the homepage has three gallery buttons. Only in Firefox is the vertical spacing between these cells different causing the bottom button (gallery three) to stick out at the bottom and thus be misaligned with the main flash cell.
This only happens in Firefox. I've been told to go back to Dreamweaver and adjust the dimensions, but this will surely cause it to be incorrect in all the other browsers won't it?
I am using the latest version of Dreamweaver and Firefox.

When I make a Book using Aperture 3 and print a PDF proof version, all images that have been modified within Aperture are distorted in PDF form. All other images appear ok.
As if only the corrected layer would have remained on the photos.
So the geometry of the pictures is correct - they are not skewed or something? Only the colors and intensities are wrong?
. Only in printing when it is converted to PDF file some photos are unrecognizable.
Is it the printed pdf or the pdf viewed on the screen? If it is the printed copy you need to fix your print settings.
Does Aperture give a warning, that the high resolution images are not available?
We had some cases of books not being able to be printed, and that was due to a broken reference to the original files. Only the book could not access the originals, all other parts of Aperture could. To check for this, try to add one more adjustment to one of the images in question. Is it possible? Are the edits reflected correctly in the pdf of the book?
We were shooting with 3 cameras, Lumix5 shooting RAW, Cannon 100 shooting JPEG and SONY alfa850 shooting RAW.
Have you tried to reprocess the raw of the edited images? (Photos > Reprocess Raw)
Also try, to remove one of the images from the book and to add it again. That usually helps, if Aperture has lost the connection to the originals used in the book.
If you no have done so already, repair (and if necessary rebuild) the Aperture library.

The same question keeps popping up again and again "The proxy moz-proxy://proxy.iitm.ac.in:3128 is requesting a username and password. The site says: "moz-proxy://proxy.iitm.ac.in:3128""
Even after i give the right details, it asks me like 5 more times before it completely loads the page. Some times it happens only 2 times.
With other browsers like chrome, it asks only in the beginning. it doesn't occur after that.
This started occurring only recently. i upgraded to firefox 9.0 and it functioned properly for more than 12 hours before it started occuring. i tried downgrading back to 8.0.1 but the problem still continued.i'm afraid i need to use proxy settings to connect to internet. The settings are all fine because it used to work properly all this time. i specify the proxy address and the port, which is correct, i am very confident. it is so because the page actually loads on firefox, but not before it asks for my user name and password for it a lot of times, and for every page. for other browsers, it asks only in the beginning, that is, when i start the browser.
i've put three pics here. under the first two settings, the third image showing the user name and password thingy popping up. this happens a lot of times for every page. -
Background images are not rendering while they are in all other browsers.
Firefox is having problems with certain .jpg images that I have uploaded to a hosting service.
(Ex: http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/3991/hbbgardenorangepop3.jpg)
When you set this image as your web page's background image, the image will not be rendered. However, if you go directly to the URL, the image will be rendered (except in the Beta release, where the image won't even render when you go to the URL directly).
However, if you go to ANY other browser, the image is rendered correctly (both when you go directly to the URL and when you use the image as your background).

Pages that load in all other browsers do not load in Safari
Our Web application uses HTTPS and a Thawte-issued 256-bit AES SSL certificate. In IE, Firefox, and Chrome, the pages of our Web application load absolutely fine. In Safari 4.0.5, the pages do not load in the browser. When looking at the source for the page, there absolutely is content there, but appears to be cut off after a certain number of lines. I've tried a couple of pages, and there doesn't seem to be anything incorrect about the HTML at the line directly after the last one that Safari was able to pull back.
I read in some forums that this may have to do with content chunking and/or variable content lengths. I read in others that it may have to do with serving images from non-HTTPS servers while using an HTTPS connection. I think the former sounds more likely.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? This is not the known "page doesn't load in Safari, but then does when I access it in another browser" issue. It doesn't matter how many times I successfully access the pages in other browsers. They are never rendered in Safari.
Does anyone know how to control the behavior of Safari (or even of Apache HTTP Server 2.0) when it comes to responses of variable content lengths and/or response chunking? Or am I completely off the mark?

MikeIt turns out that Apache's mod_jk.log, which is used to store the output of communications between Apache and Tomcat, had become full. Once it reaches 2 GB, Apache can't write to it anymore. Once we stopped Apache, stopped Tomcat, rotated out that mod_jk.log, and restarted both Apache and Tomcat, our Web application started working again in both Safari and much more reliably in Chrome.
