htmlb:tableView : (table) Attribute value is not a valid reference

Hi All,
In Table view i am getting the following error.
The following error text was processed in the system:
<htmlb:tableView>: (table) Attribute value is not a table
My code in View is
CREATE OBJECT  MODEL TYPE  ZCL_HREPAN_MODEL_MAIN.
CREATE OBJECT tv_itr1 TYPE ZCL_HREPAN_MODEL_ITR_STATUS exporting model = model.
%>
     <htmlb:tableView  id              = "reportsTable1"
                       headerVisible   = "true"
                       headerText      = "All PANs:"
                       footerVisible   = "true"
                       design = "alternating"
                       visibleRowCount = "20"
                       width           = "100%"
                       fillUpEmptyRows = "false"
                       columnWrapping  = "false"
                       columnWidth     = "200"
                       sort = "server"
                       selectionMode = "lineEdit"
                       iterator        = "<%=tv_itr1%>"
                       table           = "//MODEL/DATE_RANGE_PAN" >
      </htmlb:tableView>
in above DATE_RANGE_PAN is table from model 'ZCL_HREPAN_MODEL_MAIN'
Controller as below:  DO_REQUEST.
if lr_event is bound and lr_event->server_event = 'allpans'.
  lo_model ?= get_model( 'model_id_status' ).
  lo_display_view->set_attribute( name = 'model' value = lo_model ).
  lo_display_view = create_view( view_name = 'allpans.htm').
  call_view( lo_display_view ).
  ENDIF.
DO_INIT as below
lo_model ?= create_model( class_name = 'ZCL_HREPAN_MODEL_MAIN'
                            model_id   = 'model_id_status').
please help me how to solve this??
REgards,
Kishan

I think DATE_RANGE_PAN is not table. Make sure its a table. If issue persist, post the data type declaration here.

  • Attribute value is not valid

    After executing an RFC, I want to get a table of elements that is passed as the Output.
    As soon as I try to get the first element of the Output table, via xxxNode.getElementAt(index), I receive this error:

    I've solved the problem.
    At first the attribute generating the error was defined ABAP-side as a custom domain based on CHAR (1) type that allowed only two possible values: "O" or "X". But the ABAP function returned only " " (empty space) or "X".
    So we tried to add "O" to the set of the legitimate values, but that did not solve the problem.
    Next we got rid of the custom type and custom domain and we defined the parameter as a simple CHAR (1).
    That made the problem disappear and, best of all, I can't still figure why. Anyway, the problem is solved and that is all that matters now.
    *I'm sorry to say this in a SAP forum, but SAP's approach to type checking sucks really hard.*
    It is not possible that the ABAP side does not check types and the Java side raises these kind of errors (and, please note that it is not allowed to change a model type in Java).
    Anyway, thank you Nizamudeen for helping me.

  • MDSModelDeploy Operation Failed, clone cannot be deployed, The Attribute Value is not valid

    I've created a model containing a customer entity with various domain based attributes.  I've populated the entities via a combination of manual entry and the staging tables.  In the source system I have approx 950 customer records, all of which
    fail validation on the source system as some of the attributes will be maintained only in MDS and are not in the source systems I'm pulling the initial data from.
    I ran the MDSModelDeploy.exe to create a package containing data on the source system.  I then ran the package to apply the package using the -deployclone option on my target system.  I piped the output into a flat file for review.
    Here is the error I'm receiving.
    MDSModelDeploy operation failed. Elapsed time: 00:01:00.2314612
    Error:
    A clone of the "Subzero_1" model cannot be deployed.
    An error occurred while processing message request type 'EntityMembersMergeRequest'. See exception details for more information.
    Package deployment failed with 344 errors
    The attribute value is not valid.
    The attribute value is not valid.   (repeated 344 times)
    Any ideas what the issue might be?  I have tried verbose logging as well and did not find anything that would point me in the direction of the problem.  The end result was that the model was not deployed to the target.
    I have also created a package without data, deployed that, then applied the data.  This gets the model to the target and the data also appears to be there but I did receive this error on the deployupdate.
    This is on SQL Server 2012.

    I am seeing the same error. Created a model, Cloned the model. Made changes to the clone (Schema and Data), and used MDSModelDeploy UpdateModel to update the primary (not cloned) model.  In looking at the log, I see the error shown below, but I do not
    see anything that points to what was happening at the time.
    I tried running a SQL trace to see if one of the SQL commands received an error, but none of the commands did.
    In looking at the model that was updated, I can see all of the schema changes were made, and most of the data was updated. There is one table that did not update completely. The attributes in the table consist of Domain Specific and text attributes only.
    I also verified that everything on both models was validated before starting.
    In the weblog I see the error listed below, but there is nothing in the data that would match that value
    Not sure were to go from here....

  • Attribute value does not accepitng expression ???

    ]I am using Tomcat 5.0.28 and JSTL 1.0.6. I put the files standard.jar and jstl.ar within my web-app WEB-INF/lib folder. I made no changes in web.xml. Then I ran the following program as test.jsp
    <%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" %>
    <html>
    <body>
    <c:set var="hello" value="Hello World!"/>
    <c:out value="${hello}"/>
    </html>
    </body>
    I'm getting this error message <br>
    "According to TLD or attribute directive in tag file, attribute value does not accept any expression"

    With Tomcat5, you should be using JSTL1.1.
    The JSTL1.0 tags didn't let you use runtime expressions like <%= expr %> with your tags. Instead you had to use ${expr}.
    ${expr} is a runtime expression in JSP2.0, where it wasn't before.
    JSTL1.1 provides a new tld with the correct settings.
    You should be using JSTL1.1 and the uri:
    <%@ taglib prefix="c" uri="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" %>

    Hi - This is still unanswered. Will the datatype of the source column mapped to the member and the fact table create the problem? As we are in the middle of evaluating different OLAP products, any inputs on the issue, will be really helpful...

  • Automatically Change Database Table Attribute Value.

    Hi All,
    I am trying to write a tool which will run as a cronjob. This tool which runs periodically, connects to DATABASE and checks the System Central Date of the Server say 20070828(this format!) and also checks the values in Database Table.. if this matches then The Table Attribute should change from "postponed" to "initial".
    I have a table named "Task" it has attributes.. ID, TaskDate, Name, State..etc
    Now this tool should check the "TaskDate" and alter the "State" if it satisfies the condition.
    Could anyone of you help me by giving some tips, so that I can finish the project asap..? This is the last requirement which is pending now.. I am running out of ideas.. ;-(
    Let me know, if you require more info to suggest me.
    Thanks and Rgds,
    Pradeep

    Running out of ideas in the sense.. my mind is not workin!! ha ha.. just kiddin..
    I already know the concept to schedule cron job.. so the problem here ends..
    I wanted some tips how can i change the attribute by just checkin the TaskDate.. i need something like 20070828(i.e only the date related) but in database i have something like 20070828102000(total time!!)
    If any of you just give an idea.. then it would do a world of good for me..
    Thanks!

  • Custom Table Editor: values are not populated to the model

    H,
    I wrote a custom table renderer which uses JComboBox + editor, which seem to work (after editing, the displayed cell reflects the change) but after editing the table manually, the model is not altered when i call table.getModel();
    The editor part is as simple as
      class MPComboBoxEditor extends DefaultCellEditor {
            private final JComboBox box;
            public MPComboBoxEditor(JComboBox b) {
                super(b);
                this.box = b;
        }The renderer:
    public class CellRendererWithMPComboBox extends JLabel implements TableCellRenderer {
        private final Context c;
        private final JTable table;
        private DefaultTableCellRenderer rend = new DefaultTableCellRenderer();
        private JLabel label = new JLabel();
        public CellRendererWithMPComboBox(Context c, JTable table) {
            super();
            this.c = c;
            this.table = table;
         * Set this renderer to the given column
         * @param column
        public void setRendererTo(int column) {
            TableColumn col = table.getColumnModel().getColumn(column);
            col.setCellEditor(new JComboBoxEditor(JComboBox(<some values>)));
            col.setCellRenderer(this);
        @Override
        public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table, Object value,
                boolean isSelected, boolean hasFocus, int row, int column) {
            if (hasFocus && isSelected) {
                if (isSelected) {
                    setForeground(table.getSelectionForeground());
                    super.setBackground(table.getSelectionBackground());
                } else {
                    setForeground(table.getForeground());
                    setBackground(table.getBackground());
                 label.setText((value == null) ? "" : value.toString());
                return label;
            } else {
                label.setText((value == null) ? "" : value.toString());
                return label;
        }the model simply extends DeafultTableModel to get formatted numbers.
        @Override
        @SuppressWarnings("unchecked")
        public Object getValueAt(int row, int column) {
            Object o = super.getValueAt(row, column);
            Class t = getColumnClass(column);
            if (!t.getName().equals("java.lang.Object")) {
                if (o != null && (t.isAssignableFrom(Double.class) ||
                        t.isAssignableFrom(double.class) ||
                        t.isAssignableFrom(float.class) ||
                        t.isAssignableFrom(Float.class))) {
                    return FormatNumber.formatDezimal(Double.valueOf(o.toString()));
                } else {
                    return o;
            } else {
                return o;
        }Do i need to override some setValueAt method in the editor/renderer or something?
    Thanks one more time!
    Regards,
    Andreas

    I don't see any getModel() in your code extract. If the renderer renders it right after edition, then the value is probably correct in the model.
    Also, remember [this thread|http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5396048], where it appeared you were not clear about which model you were looking at.
    Do i need to override some setValueAt method in the editor/renderer or something?No. But have you overridden the model's setValueAt?

  • Table control values are not able to read with out a user action.

    Hi All,
    I am working with a module pool programing and I am calling 3 sub screens into my main normal screen.
    In one of the sub screen, I have created a table control and getting the initial values from database and displaying.
    Now I try to change the couple of fields in my table control and with out user action (not pressing Enter after changing the values in table control).
    I try to save the edited/changed values in table control into the database. But I am not able to do so, since the change values are not able to pick.
    My requirement is end user will not do any action(press the enter key ) and he directly presses the save button which is defined in the main normal screen.
    Kindly suggest some solution.
    Thanks
    Geetha

    Hi Geetha,
                    in SAP Default While pressing save button the modified value will pick up because
    Save button will perform enter function also.

  • EJB3 Problem: table attribute of @JoinTable not accepted in JDEV 10.1.3..

    Hi,
    I tried to compile a EJB3 application in JDev 10.1.3.0.4 Studio version, but the compiler
    complains about the table attribute of the @JoinTable annotation.
    The following code is not accepted:
    * Retrieve the list of clubs this player played for
    * @return List of clubs this player played for
    @ManyToMany(fetch=EAGER,targetEntity=nl.company.contractadmin.Club.class)
    @JoinTable(table=@Table(name = "CONTRACTPERIOD")
    joinColumns = {@JoinColumn(name = "PYR_ID",
    referencedColumnName = "ID")}
    inverseJoinColumns = { @JoinColumn(name = "CUB_ID",
    referencedColumnName = "ID")
    public Collection getClubs() {
    return clubs;
    public void setClubs(Collection<Club> clubs){
    this.clubs=clubs;
    This code compiles in the EA release of JDev 10.1.3..
    Can anyone tell me if there is something changed in the implementation of EJB3??

    Use @JoinTable(name, catalog, schema, uniqueConstraints) instead of @JoinTable(table=@Table())

  • Error when displaying amount field in HTMLB Tableview

    Hi all,
       I am displaying some 'X' table in HTMLB Tableview and it has one amount field.But reference(currency) field of that amount field is in other table . I know it gives the error.
    Please tell me there is any other way to resolve this problem with out adding reference(currency)field in the same table?
    Thanks and Regards ,
    Harikrishna .

    Hi Hari,
    But reference(currency) field of that amount field is in other table . I know it gives the error.
    It will not give any error , you can use the currency key field of other table or structure .
    Alternatively you can use  predifined type DEC instaed of CURR  .

  • Failed to verify AS2 message Reason message-digest attribute value

    >ECC(AS2 to Proxy) .I tested in QA system successfully but messages not reached to PI system.Communcation channel montering error message is Failed to verify AS2 message. Reason: message-digest attribute value does not match calculated value (Software version: 1.0.2). This scenario working fine producation server using with receiver file adapter.After transported from QA to PROD error got occured.Please provide your inputs on this issue

    Thank you,
    I've followed all the steps in the link for the section : For a new wallet, please follow.
    SSL is not used, the B2B sends to a proxy server which uses SSL to the Trading Partner.
    This is a future production system; the same setup and configuration has been successfully used in development and test.
    The configuration all looks the same between environments, but dev and test work while this fails.
    The previous configuration did not have the TP's public cert in the wallet, so I added it according to the link.
    However the same error occurs.
    Is there any chance this behaviour is related to this : metalink docid : 803466.1 / Oracle B2B certificate for ebMS will expire July 17 2009
    This is AS2, not using ebXML, but I do see references to the phaos security tool kit in the logs.
    Currently all environments use MLR#7.
