Liz Claiborne, Inc. an International, Fortune 500, $4.5+ Billion, Best in Industry, Wholesale/Retail, Fashion Apparel and Accessories Corporation with 35+ brands worldwide is seeking a Financial Systems & Reporting Analyst.SUMMARYWorking as a member of the Financial Systems & Reporting team within the Corporate Finance area, this individual will partner with the Director of Financial Systems & Reporting in providing superior customer service to our internal customers within finance. This position will provide functional support/system administration of the internal reporting systems that enable management/financial reporting and financial planning, via the Hyperion Suite of applications within Liz Claiborne (Hyperion Essbase, Planning, Business Rules, Analyzer, Reports, HAL, EAS, and EIS).This position will require an individual who can develop strong partnerships across multiple functional areas and lines of business, in order to provide proactive support and superior customer service. The individual will work closely with the end user community to provide user education for all applications, ensure proper utilization of current and future financial systems, provide documentation of processing enhancements, communicate web-form customizations, and continuously assess and enhance the application suite based upon end-user and business requirements as required. There is an expectation that this he/she will provide input into process improvement, and assistance in the creation of project plans and timelines.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 1. Daily loading of data/metadata into the Liz Claiborne Hyperion application(s)2. Ability to use Application Manager/Administration Services to design, create and maintain applications, databases, data load rules, calc scripts and report scripts.3. Works with internal customers to consistently improve and refine processes and procedures as it related to Planning & Analysis. 4. Collaborates with the Director Financial Planning & Analysis in the development of the Strategic Plan, Annual Budget and monthly forecast's.5. Manage security within the Hyperion suite6. Designs, Develops, and implements new reporting & analysis solutions within the Hyperion suite7. Serve as Internal Functional Helpdesk as it relates to the Hyperion suite.8. Design & Maintain documentation on system process flows, changes, enhancements.9. Must be able to act independently to resolve problems. 10. Other duties and projects as required11. Create and Maintain reports within Microstrategy Business Intelligence application12. Ability to create and maintain reports written in JDE SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree (or higher), concentration in accounting/finance; information systems.OTHER QUALIFICATIONSProven Track Record working with the Hyperion Essbase/Planning applications, (2 Years Experience) including administrator skills. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Access. Experience with J.D. Edwards general ledger system. Experience managing financial database for complex organization structure is important, as well as strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Microstrategy experience is a plus

Hi,
Earlier in version 11.1.1.3 we gave it a go through custom java script with no real success. What we achieved was something laughable really. Although we have managed to list the members from top to bottom, because the ids that stand for the members themselves were not really shifted, data that we input was recorded on the member in the case that would have been there if it was listed the other way around.
I remember that it felt like it wouldn't have been possible without hacking into bindows source code which generates the forms on the runtime. I don't want to sound too sound though, if anyone has done it, would love to know it.
