Hyperlinks in InDesign Okay But Not in PDF is this an Acrobat Issue?

Hi,
I'm working on my first project in InDesign....interactive PDFs/ebooks. I've entered my links in the ID file (CS6) in two different ways...the first with the "htpp://" prefix and the second with just the address and ".com". (no www.). I've noticed that my version of PDF works when I export as print, and specify hyperlinks. My coworker, working with the same file, will not generate some of the hyperlinks, and I'm guessing they are the ones WITHOUT the http prefix. (The link that appears instead is "resource://pdf.js/web"). My general question...have you run across this? Is this an Adobe Acrobat Pro issue (I have version 10)? The links are correct in the ID file.
I can generate these PDFs, so I'll be able to finish my project on time, but thought I would throw it out to the community in case anyone has run across this.

Did you explicitly define the in the Hyperlink panel? Or only in text?
Set up them correctly in the Hyperlink panel.
Acrobat is reading out Hyperlinks depending on version and settings, but only when you set it up in InDesign’s Hyperlink panel you will get correct results.

I serach some information about this question, and somebody said we can detect hot key's signal by grabing 『keybode』 these hot key feedback. But I don't know how to do these. I can't use VC. So anyone can give me a LabVIEW VI to grab keycode? Or any other solution we can detect all the key on the keyboard, including hot keys?

Maybe that is the limitation of Acquire Input Data.vi.The vi can't identify the Unformal key.
You can try to use Event structure and set to listen "key down" event.
There are two terminals VKey, ScanCode will sent out the information when you press key.
There are two pictures in attached file, 2.jpg will show you the detail.

You can save if them if a PDF opens in browser if they don't download automatically

Are you trying to login to an account you already made (on an iPhone or similar) or create a new iCloud account?

Using Acrobat Pro X on windows 7. The replace pages feature does not work. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

I haven't heard other reports of this (though there was an issue quite some time ago where deleting pages on this combination of Acrobat/OS was challenging).
Can you please tell me what happens when you try to replace pages? Do you get an error message? Are you able to manipulate pages otherwise (delete, extract, and so on)? Is this issue unique to one file, or does it happen with all PDF files?

Interactive PDF–buttons working in preview but not in PDF

I have a series of buttons that reveal hidden graphics. One of those hidden graphics is a background layer, in a separate layer, that should appear when a button is clicked. It is showing up, but in front of all other content, even though the layer is in the background. I have nothing else on the background layer. Also, the preview in InDesign shows this working properly, it's the exported Interactive PDF that is having problems. Any suggstions?

Show/hide buttons can let you show and hide graphics which have been themselves turned into buttons. But in InDesign, they cannot control the visibility of layers. I think that's because of the way buttons are handled in the PDF file. I think the buttons themselves are seen as a separate layer above the "content" of the PDF.
You can change layer visiblity with buttons but not in InDesign. You have to do it in Acrobat.
Create your layers in InDesign. Export as a PDF but in the Export Adobe PDF dialog box, you must select Acrobat 6 compatibility and check Create Acrobat Layers. This takes InDesign layers and makes them PDF layers which you can work with in Acrobat.
You can either create the buttons in InDesign or in Acrobat, but controlling layer visibility isn't an available action in InDesign. So you'll need to change their action WITHIN ACROBAT.
In Acrobat, you can choose View > Navigation Panels > Layers. You can turn the eyes on and off to control visibility like in InDesign. Then set the layer visibility the way you want the first button to set and set the action for the first button to be Set Layer Visibility. When you click Add. It sets the visibility to the current state. Repeat the process for the second button.
In InDesign CS5, to export buttons you'll need to choose File > Export > Adobe PDF (Interactive). Check Acrobat Layers.

Random Vectors/images color inverted in print, but not in PDF. Where does the fault lie?

Sent a PDF to the newspaper printer and some of the images had inverted/strange colors. However...
In one case I had duplicate images of a pink vector flower. SOME of the flowers were inverted, to a dark blue/black, and some were fine(pink). These were embedded vectors.
In other instances vectors, went from orange to blue/black, pink to blue/black, and yellow/white to blue black. I specify because in one vector image, a ring, the ring was yellow, but the diamond was white, and it all changed to the same blue/black in print.
Finally, there were two greyscale Tiff photographs of a pair of ladies. These are not embedded, and have not been altered at all and since the last time this paper has been printed, (which printed fine). This time, they were inverted. Nothing else on the page was inverted.
As far as I can tell, there is not a separation issue, and I have saved the file from InDesign CC to pdf using the same settings as dozens of times before. The pdf on my end looks fine. The printer says they just print what they receive, but as far as I can tell, there is no issue on our end. The fact that some duplicated images printed fine, and others did not seem to confirm this. Everything is properly linked. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is this a pdf, InDesign, or even an adobe problem at all, or it is something on their end? I have heard of inverted colors before, but can't find a solution (especially as I can't even see the problem on my end.)

Where does the fault lie? - in an environment where they (the newsprinter) collect up front, have no responsibility for quality and arrogantly believe, perhaps correctly, that you'll be back with another paying job in the future.
Check the file you sent via Acrobat Preflight or Output Preview for RGB elements.
Check the file you sent via Acrobat Preflight - Checks - For Transparency Used
Do any of these elements off color involve rgb or interact (with or near) any transparency?
(InDesign could show these attributes via the links panel or a Live Preflight. Both can be (probably should be in your case) changed via the PDF Export)

Gradient boundary appears printed, but not on PDF?

Hey guys! Hope you can help me out with this.
I'm exporting a PDF from InDesign. The PDF looks fine, but when I print it it appears as if a gradient border has a stroke applied. In InDesign I've confirmed that the stroke is 0, but I'm still getting a light black line when printed. Also, it appears to only print from our high quality color printer -- when I print it from an old black/white one there is no line. Can anyone think of why this might be?

I can also confirm the problem here on my Adobe PostScript 3 printer using Acrobat 7, 8, and 9. The problem goes away if I turn on the "Print as Image" option in Acrobat's Advanced Print dialog. If your black and white printer is not a PostScript device, this is effectively doing the same thing. (Note that I'm not suggesting "Print as Image" as a good solution since it can change the color output, can take along time to print, and if you are sending the file to someone else for production, it might be difficult to guarantee that they will do the same.
The line occurs at the bottom edge of a raster image which was created by the Adobe Transparency Flattener to simulate your gradient in a (flattened) PDF 1.3. I'd suggest either trying PDF 1.4 or higher. If that's not acceptable for whatever reason, I'd suggest making sure that the gradient fill goes all the way to the bottom of the page AND making the gradient fade to something other than white (e.g., 0C, 0.5 M, 1.0Y, 0K). Hopefully, that will cause the raster image created by the flattener to extend all the way to the bottom of the page, and put the nasty line off the page...

Clicking pdf in Windows Opens Adobe but not the pdf

I know this will sound like a minor annoyance but this is an issue with Acrobat 11 in my master image. QA won't sign off on my image until this is resolved. When my users launch a pdf from their local machine for the first time Acrobat opens however the pdf file does not. Simply closing Acrobat and clicking the pdf a second time corrects the issue. These seems to be just a first run issue. Anyone have any idea how to resolve this?
This is windows 7 x64 with Adobe Acrobat XI Standard.

Are you working with AA 11.0.0, or have you done the updates? The updates may resolve the issue if they have not been done, particularly on a 64-bit machine.

Western Digital inform me that it isn't their external hard drive problem and suggest that it is an Apple software problem ?

I am not quite ready to restore the full iphoto library , as I have days of work re - imputting titles,descriptions and enhancement . I hope that your suggestion works , as I use my Macbook basically to work with digital photography. Through time , I will need to delete my library to recover more disc space and I would hate to have to spend more time re - imputting titles and descriptions all over again .

Videos are stuck in convert queue ... downloading okay but not converting

If the conversion hop is indeed no-longer in place, you could try changing "mx daemon 192.33.219.42" to "nomx daemon 127.0.0.1" and uncomment the tcp_scan channel. This should then cause any emails in tcp_scan channel to be delivered back into messaging server (rather then the anti-virus/spam system) and then get delivered as-per-normal.

I was having this problem. The settings on my wireless router was set to hide my IP address so it wouldn't connect. When I changed that, I connected no problem. While this is annoying since I don't want my IP address to be out there, I just switch my router when I need to connect to the App/iTunes Store. Hope this helps. It worked for me.

Are you exporting as JPG or TIFF or PSD?
Any other format (including "Original") will not show a watermark.

I have a list of bookmarks set to specific pages. In InDesign they all lead to the correct pages but when viewing the PDF only two work right, the rest jumps to a different page.
