I accidentally selected "do note allow" Pages access to my photos. Now I can't insert photos. Message says go to settings and select Privacy - but there is no such option in the Settings. Help! I want to be able to insert images in documents I create in the Pages app.
Ok - I figured it out myself as soon as I posted this question. I went to my IPad settings - not the Settings in the Pages app. Problem fixed.

my spreadsheet created with numbers program version 3.0 created on my mac won't work on my ipad version 2.0. It says I have to save the file with preview option but there is no such option in preferences. Any thoughts?
For the update to run Aperture must be installed in the system Application folder and named simply Aperture, not Aperture3.2.2 or anything else.
I don't know if this would also affect photo stream but if your Aperture is misnamed or installed in an incorrect location fixing that to see if it clears up the problem would be a good first step. -
After uninstalling and installing several times, Java plug-in is still undetected. Support suggested I open up the control panel and click update but there isn't such an option. The advance tab, there aren't any options to enable or disable plug-ins.
If you're running Java 7, then in System Preferences > Java > Java Control Panel in the Security tab there is a check box to enable Java in your browser. To check for update go to the Update tab.

Trying to update my iphone. I go to settings then general. But, there is no option for updates.. My iphone is 2 years old and I have never updated it but I need to now to get some of my apps working again. Help??

I have an ipad with 5.0.1 and trying to learn how to use it. When I click on the icon Calender, I get the calendar presentation but I do not know how to make an entry. Every tutorial I have looked at says that you click on a + sign in the lower right corner and then make your entry. I do not have a + sign on my screen. Can some one help me.

Need help
Select Settings>General>About and look at Version. This will show what version of iOS is installed. Post back with the version & then we can provide some suggestions.

ive tried putting in different cards & info it still shows the same message! when i try to edit my billing/payment info there is no option to click 'none' or paypal. ive tried doing this on my ipad, laptop, & android. im getting very frustrated its been 3 days now & i cant update my apps or even download free apps! ive emailed apple support 3 days ago but still havent recieved a reply back. it started after i made an in-app purchase. i had made 2 the day befoe then after i made the last one it started saying my security code was invalid. i have the money to cover the purchase so its not that. i opened the itunes app & it said theres a problem with a previous purchase & i need to enter a valid security code. i dont know what to do to find out what happened. if anyone has any advice id really appritiate it! thanks.
try to enter a gift card to cover your previous balance. Once covered it probably will allow you to change payment.

It sounds like you were unable to watch your rental and you cannot find it to download it and watch it in the iTunes App or the Video app. I recommend reporting the problem to the iTunes Store support team directly with the following article:

Installed a new battery but there is a black X on the battery icon
My battery my Early 2011 MacBook Pro was expanding so I bought a new battery and replaced it myself.
I turned my MacBook Pro on and it works, but there is a black X on the battery icon. When I check the battery information on the System Profiler, it says there is no battery installed, BUT, when I press ALT and click on the battery icon in the top right corner, it says "Condition: Normal".
Can someone tell me why this is happening and what I can do to fix this?Thank you BUT this would be for a completely different Mac. My MacBook Pro is the type where there is no removable battery on the outside. I had to open mine up to change the battery.
I bought the new battery on eBay and am going to get it resolved with the seller, and if he doesn't refund me or replace it, then I will claim the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Hopefully someone has advice for me still. -
Apps do not have access to camera,microphone, anything. Went to settings and selected the app but the option to allow access to these things aren't there.
Did you go to Settings/Privacy and check the apps listed?

When I opened the app I selected do not allow, to use my contacts, but now realise I should have allowed it. I have uninstalled and reloaded it, but it will not ask me to use my contacts again. Any ideas as now I see e mail names and not just the persons name.
If you go to Settings > Notes > Default Account you will see "On My iPhone" as the default account and the only choice if you have not enabled syncing Notes in Settings >iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. If you have enabled syncing you can still select "On My iPhone" as the default account. When you are in the Notes app you won't see any accounts listed if you have not enabled syncing because they are all in the On My iPhone account and that is the only place possible. It is not a folder that you create.

My MacBook Air says it in connected to my wifi, but my wifi signal has a "!" sign on it. My computer will not allow internet access, help?
When you see an exclamation point in the Wi-Fi menu, from the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network
Click the Assist me button and select Assistant. Follow the prompts. You may get a warning that Wi-Fi is not available, that you're too far from the base station, or that you're using the wrong password.
Assuming that you've ruled out those possibilities, restart the computer and try again. If there's no change, click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the preference pane and authenticate, if necessary. From the Location menu at the top of the window, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Applyand test.
If there's still no connection, and if you have control of the router, compare its settings to Apple's recommendations. Some third-party routers may be incompatible in 802.11b/g/n radio mode. Try setting the mode to 802.11n only. -
I just statred Flash CC for the first time and it seems that the text within the pop-up window (dialog box) is mis-aligned and not allowing me access to the command buttons, nor all the text. (ie: the NEW Template Box, can't see but 2/3 of the content) is there a fix to this problem? using 8.1, Monitor is a high res.2560x1440.
