I accidentally spilled lemon juice on my iPod. What do I do to fix it?

I was whitening my tech while watching a tutorial on how to & I got a tiny drop of lemon juice on it. About 30-45 mins later, I was on my iPod and during a FaceTime call,...there was a green line on my iPod. I turned it off & turned it back on. The green line came up again but filled the whole screen. It started to turn white as well. I turned it off again and it won't turn back on!!! Help me!!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!

Just where did the drop go?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Hi, ive had my ipod for about a year. Did you:
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or

Have you tried on another computer?

I have ipod nano gen 7, can't get it to sync on my computer,message keep coming up ipod isn't being recognized. what can i do to fix the problem, all my itunes are updated.

Only if a backup of the iPhone with all that data on it exists. If one does, restore the iPhone using that backup.

If it is still under warranty you can call the 800 number to apple and enter the serial number and it will tell you if it is under warranty or not if not its like $30 basically for them to help or something like that it said today when i called...
Or take it to a genius bar if you have one near?

I just spilled Apple juice on my white keyboard that came with my Imac. I have removed all the water and excess water both on top and under some of the keys, however some of the buttons dont work like the 'a' button and the command button. My question is does the AppleCare Protection plan cover the damage or at least replace me with a new keyboard, or am i just in for a bad luck

Here's the full monty. No idea if this will be successful, but it's what I'd try if it happened to me.
You have nothing to lose. Get a gallon of distilled water. Pour enough into a clean shallow pan and soak and agitate the keyboard. Make sure the keyboard is covered in water. Do this until you have no more water left. Allow the water to drain after each soaking. Once it is drained, swish it in a bath of 70% isopropyl alcohol for 15 minutes, let it drain, then replace with new alcohol and swish for several more minutes. This will help displace the water and may help remove any traces of the wine. Then let it dry out for a number of days. Do not try to use it until you are reasonably certain it is completely dry. Letting it sit in a container of rice, which will act as a dessicant, may also help the drying.

i spilled iced tea on my ipod mini and u was worried about it not working anymore. i told my dad about it and he ended up turning it on and i told him no don't turn it on it mught ruin it. i don't know what to do i don't want to have to buy a new ipod because of it

well i didn't actually spill on it i think it might be a bigger issue because what accutally happend was that i picked up my ipod and and it accidently slipped out of my hand and it to the glass like it was the whole unit was in a full glass of iced tea and what accualy happed was i dumped the iced tea out on the floor so i could rescue it imediately. can that be any worse than a spill?

The problem is that not only the keyboard might be affected, but also the logic board. That's the reason of such an expensive repair.
When you spill liquid onto a MacBook, the first affected part will be the keyboard, but then, it might damage the logic board. When liquid goes into the logic board, you don't know when your computer will stop working. My advice is to make a backup of your data and repair the MacBook to an Apple Store or reseller (or get a new one), because Apple won't make you pay $600 for only the keyboard. Also, ask to the Genius if the logic board will be replaced
