I accidently deleted Safari, and have had to install again from the disc. Since then it just crashes randomly. After reading other posts, I have created another account to see if it still does it, but it still crashes. Any suggestions please?

Did you run Software update yet?

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

I have a time ago downloaded the Safari 4 developer preview.
Anyways, i got tired of it and i wanted to switch back to 3.2, or whatever is the newest product version. Well, as with any other uninstall i thought i'd just have to drag the .app into the trashcan.
Well, i did this and it went fine, and i emptied the trashcan and it went fine and stuff like that.
When i then tried to install Safari 3.2 it said that a newer version of Safari was already installed. Then i browsed around for a time and found out that i had to delete a folder inside ~user/library called Safari.
I did this, but it will still not install.
I went into the Disc Utility and repaired and controlled the Disc permission things you know.
Really hope ya can help, getting sick of firefox's inability to read RSS and its weird.. Look!

Have a look at this thread for how to obtain Safari 4. I haven't tried it, so I can't vouch for whether the download is still accessible.
If you get the dmg file, install Safari 4 again. Then, uninstall it using the provided uninstaller. That will take you back to the last version of Safari used in your system prior to Safari 4.

You didn't delete Safari. Built-in apps cannot be deleted.
Maybe you restricted it. Settings > General > Restrictions, make sure Safari did not get turned off.

All you need to do is run Software Update to make sure you have the iWork 9.1 update. It will update your existing installation of the three applications. If you're not running the latest versions & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. Even if you think you'll never need all three of the applications, you cannot delete any. They must be in the iWork '09 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work.

I believe you may be referring to the $49 ASL agreement at AppleCare? That is only when/if you are out of AppleCare Protection.
Can you get to an AppleStore Genius Bar?
They may be able to fix this for you. No charge.
I highly doubt that. There is a $70 charge for troubleshooing software issues, EVEN IF there is AppleCare Warranty on the hardware.
However, since there is no charge for an appointment at a Bar, go make one, and see what options they give you. Let us know how it goes.

I'm having this issue as well only with a little different twist I guess. I'm transferring the iWorks applications from my Macbook Pro 3,1 with Lion to a new MBP 10,1 running Mountain Lion. I transferred the apps over using DropCopy since the older MBP doesn't have AirPlay. Applications show up but crash upon opening. This is the first install so there are no previous plist, versions or such to delete. All three crashed upon opening every time until I just had to have Keynote and purchased again - although Apple agreed to refund that purchase since my previous version quit working. Any ideas since I don't have any previous plist/versions to delete? Thanks in adavnce for any help you can offer.

I had a very similar problem, error 4251. (look in your log you will see that error) Since I finally fixed my problem, I thought I would see if I can help someone else.
What I found is that I lost burn ability in both iTunes AND Windows. Like you did. I did some digging and found that this wasn't hardware related at all. In fact, this boils down to a registry key getting messed up. (sigh) Yeah. It causes the system to get a bad 'handle'.
OK, here's what to try. Go to this Microsoft KB article. Scroll down and find the *manual* instructions for Vista. Delete the registry key that it specifies. Reboot. Now verify that you can burn in Windows. (If you have a RW disc, do a disc erase, or just try and burn from Windows Media Player.) If that is working now, you're on the right track.
Now the issue is that iTunes will still be broken. Go and install the latest Gear driver. (I know you may have done it, but do it again.) Now follow the intructions in this Apple KB article to verify the "GEARAspiWDM" info is back there in the registry. Now reboot. Try and burn in iTunes.

I know of no way to remove encryption on iTunes backups if you've forgotton the password. If you've used the 4 digit PIN code to lock your iPhone in the past that can sometimes default as your "password" for this encryption in iTunes. Try that PIN or any PIN you've used in the past. If you don't use a lock maybe you played around with that feature once when you first got your phone....try "1,2,3,4" or anything you could have possibly tried.
As far as accessing older unencrypted backups you can try this software. I do not have any experience using it but it seems like it's what you need and is probably the easiest route for both voicemail and texts:

I know with AT&T, voicemails are only stored on their servers for 30 days so any voicemail older than that you would not have been able to access again.

I accidently deleted Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 from my WindowsXP at work. The thing is, there are still Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 icons. The icons look like a piece of paper with symbols on them. When attempt to open, it cant open it. I tried a system recovery and was not successful. After a day or researching, I still haven't found a solution. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it! Thx

The obvious answer is to reinstall Acrobat, but I imagine you have ruled that out for some reason. Can you say why?

Try ReSynching to iTunes. If you set up sync to the cloud, turn that off, resync to your PC. That should bring them back. You can then turn on sync to cloud again.
You may, however, want to re-think that. There is a lot of chatter about the cloud being the source of some if not many of the battery issues. Personally, I decided to rurn the cloud off until the Battery-gate issue is resolved.
