ram : 2gb
processor: intel DUAL CORE E2200 2.20 GHz
System type: now 32bit operating system..x64 based processor
i already used WINDOW 8.1 PRo 32bits
but want to install 64bits..when i click on 64bits setup one message displayed...
THIS APP CAN'T RUN ON YOUR PC
TO FIND a VERSION FOR YOUR PC,CHECK WITH THE SOFTWARE PUBLIsHER..
i think i meet all the requirements but can't be able to install 64bits..

It seems we cannot run 64bit setup in 32bit system.
Please boot from your installation media to install Windows 8 64bit.

Well, after hours of trying to figure it out I gave up and un-installed and re-installed that last verion of Adobe Flash Player and now it seems I can play games again in Messenger. Everything else had been fine just that. I can only figure it was because it was having a hard time updating the first time and took me 3 tries. So even though it said it was installed, apparently it wasn't done correctly.
Though when I couldn't figure out what was wrong at first I looked and checked to see all the things were enabled that were supposed to be and they were.
I even tried to go to the Adobe site and download the last version I had and couldn't find it. Kept coming up with the new version. Others said if you download a particular older version it may not have all the security features in it.
This really gets to be a bit much, especially when you're by yourself and have only a smattering of knowledge of technical things.

I have also gone into the registry and deleted all references regarding QuickTime. I really don't want to have to reinstall Windows just to be able to install QuickTime. I have used QuickTime for years and want to use it again. What do you suggest I do?

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATION" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up").
In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any QuickTime entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC. Now try another QuickTime install. Does it go through properly this time?

I would just like to add to this thread. I have tried everything and every way listed here and found my own solution, for those of you who were having the same issue as me.
1. Type "'''about:config'''" in your search bar
2. Click "'''I'll be careful, i promise'''"
3. Type "'''newtab'''" in the search bar
4. Find "'''avg.userPreferences.newtabDisabledByUser'''"
5. Set value to '''true''' by either '''doube clicking''' or '''right click > toggle'''
This immediately deactivated the AVG new tab feature and reset my browser to it's default settings.

What do you mean by "cancel it"? If you mean that you wish to lock or erase the iPhone, you'll need to have set up Find My iPhone before you lost the phone, and if you did you may be able to locate it, lock it or erase it though icloud.com; go to the Find My iPhone section.
If you did not set up Find My iPhone before you lost the iPhone, then all you can do is notify your cell carrier and the police, and change any passwords to accounts you used from the phone.

I love the tiles of my most used pages which come up when I open a new tab. 9 used to show up but now there are only 3. How can I get the others back.

I have explored the suggested solution pages but if the answer was there I did not understand it. I have clicked on the cog at the top right hand corner of the page and changed from Enhanced to Classic, but that did not give me my 9 tiles back. I shall be most grateful if one of you folk with more savy can help me.

You can zoom out the about:newtab page to resize the tiles.
*View > Zoom > Zoom Out; Ctrl and +
This will affect all elements on the page, so text get smaller as well.
Toggle the <b>browser.newtab.preload</b> pref on the <b>about:config</b> page in case of issues with zooming the about:newtab page.
