Generally all you need do is give tracks from the same album a common Album Artist. See Grouping tracks into albums. The images need an update but the basic info. still holds.

okay so i recorded a song but each part comes out as like take 1, i have 10 takes. how can i put them all together as one take, to make one song all in one take not small pieces of a song. like i hit record and sang the entire song but when i hit play it was in pieces not just one song like it was in ten takes. is there any way i can blend it all into one take, to make one clear song?
You're not very clear in stating your problem. Maybe it's terminology: "takes" in recording lingo (and in GB lingo) are different version of exactly the same part in a song, so you only want one of them in the end. Please tell us exactly what you did and what it is that you don't like.

Connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes

To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes. -

Deployed and tried to update to 3.0 - now having SERIOUS issues. HELP!!!
Ok, there's a little bit of a back-story. I'm currently deployed but had 3 days in port and tried to update all of my iPhone/Macbook software in between bar visits. Well, my AT&T SIM card was left on the boat so I didn't have it when I tried to update to 3.0. Upon returning and re-inserting my SIM card my iPhone 3G now stays on the 'slide for emergency' screen with no change nor hope of change. We are no longer in port which means I no longer have access to internet on my personal computer, only work computers with no downloading capabilities due to security issues and painfully slow internet. When I plug in my iPhone, iTunes launches immediately (like always) but then goes to the error pop-up telling me that I need to re-check my network settings and try again. I can click on my iPhone in the side menu in iTunes but NOTHING shows up in the window. Like I said, I cannot access the internet on my personal computer.
I decided to attempt to re-install/revert to my old iTunes and just go back to the way things were and try to update again in the next port - remembering to bring my SIM card with me next time. Well, going into Time Machine and attempting to restore iTunes from my last backup a week ago I get an error pop-up that says 'The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient priveleges for "iTunes"'. I have many various Time Machine backups from the time when my iPhone and Macbook were both working well together but have never had to use Time Machine and am thoroughly unfamiliar with it.
While the iPhone is, obviously, crippled due to lack of network capabilities while deployed, I still use it for my daily calendar, alarm clock, music and movie source at the gym, note-taker and various other network-not-required tools and desperately need it back. Please, anyone, PLEASE help me.i suspect you will need a network connection to activate the iphone...
...as for the time machine help might want to check in another discussion forum they might be able to help with time machine better in macbook group or macos group or even the !

I have followed the instructions on the apple support pages and still cannot get my phone to work. It continues to show the iTunes USB picture and is not recognised on my iTunes on the windows PC. When I connect the phone to my iMac it shows no data and says I can restore to factory setting. However if I do this will all my data be erased? How do I get my phone and data back? I have saved most of the photos that were on the phone but all my contact details and messages are stored and I really need to get them back! Would have limited memory on the phone when trying to update caused this problem?

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!

I downloaded creative suite onto my imac yesterday and then tried to unisntall it today as i wasn't sure if i did it correctly. I dont know if i uninstalled it properly. but now when i try to re install it it says that the 'install' is damaged because the .dmg file was already installed yesterday by preview.

Re-installed Kaspersky when reactivated account and now my Firefox will not open not even a message to allow or anything. Went to Mozilla to reload went ok till the install standard tellsme to close Firefox but it is not open, remember I could not open it ths the re-install and does not show in task manager or anything. Might be Ok if a valid message but nothing that makes sense.
hello, this crash is related to your graphics hardware & a recent windows update. please start firefox in safemode (by pressing the shift-key while it is launching) & go to ''firefox > options > advanced > general'' & disable hardware acceleration.

I had been trying to update an app on my IMac and when it came to do it, it said I must close down the app site, in this case WeatherEye. However, I could not close it down and update says it is waiting. I have tried everything I know to get rid of this but it remains even when powering off the machine. Any suggestions?

I just set up my windows 7 pc with icloud and connected it to my ipad and iphone. I noticed that I have 2 icloud calendars on my pc. Neither one of them has all my events on it, so I have to look at both to see what is going on.

I think i find the problem, the Microsoft Proxy. If you use a Microsoft Proxy then it's not going with the iCloud Drive Client under Windows. I turn off the proxy in the IE and then it's going with the iCloud Drive Client.
The problem is, the iCloud Drive Client take the IE proxy (if it set in the IE), in other sync client like Dropbox oder OneDrive you can select the proxies (no proxy, default proxy, manually proxy) and this is in the current version of the iCloud Drive client not possible.
I hope Apple make this possible in a future release of the Windows client also with the option to change the location to store the data (i think under C://user/profiles is not so good for user with a SSD-harddrive).

The funny thing now is that I play music on my Iphone and I cannot see it or stop it. I have done a syncronzing yesterday and then nothing happened and later there they were all the cds. but now they are not seen on the screen and I just dont understan how the system works. I have read the instructions and tried to folow them but it has not helpt at all.

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...

Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.
Then... Try putting these numbers in Network>TCP/IP>DNS Servers, for the Interface you connect with...

Then Apply. For 10.5/10.6 Network, highlight Interface>Advanced button>DNS tab>little + icon.
DNS Servers are a bit like Phone books where you look up a name and it gives you the phone number, in our case, you put in apple.com and it comes back with 17.149.160.49 behind the scenes.
These Servers have been patched to guard against DNS poisoning, and are faster/more reliable than most ISP's DNS Servers.
For 10.5/10.6 Network, highlight Interface>Advanced button>DNS tab>little + icon. -

The bulk of my music is held on an external hard drive. The balance is music I have purchased off ITunes. About 8years ago I selected songs from all this music on the hard drive and the playlists are held in ITunes on this computer that I used 8 years ago. The music was copied to my original IPhone which I now use as an IPod. How can I transfer this ITunes list to my current computer?
These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have iOS devices and haven't moved your contacts and calendar items across then you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.
