Can I use a Time Capsule for ADDITIONAL storage for a Mac Air which has run limited storage space

I am looking at purchasing the current MacBook Air but am aware of its limited storage space in terms of files, photos etc.
Was wondering if I could use a time Capsule for both back-up and as an additional storage device. Ie: would I be able to store photos and files on the Time Capsule that I do not wish to store on a MacBook Air and be able to retrieve them as and when - or would these be deleted after a period of time? Is there any way of protecting certain files on the Time capsule to prevent them from being deleted?

You can but it's not recommended, because you can damage the Time Machine structure.

Only files backed up with Time Machine are deleted from your Time Capsule when there's no enough storage. If you store other files, they are not deleted. However, for what you want to do, I recommend you to buy a big external drive and make two partitions, one for Time Machine and another one to store files, or get two external drives

How to create proxy class for a Siebel WS which has many Workflows in it?

I am facing a strange problem. I have a Web Service for which there are many workflows associated with this. When I generate WSDL for this Web Service and later on generate proxy class in .NET, it creates mutilple classes for each workflow. From UI, I can invoke a perticular method for the class for which I am interested in. But when I am building the same in JDeveloper, using Web Service proxy, I get only one class and I am not interested in invoking method in this class but interested in some other class for which the proxy was not generated. Is there some way to generate multiple classes in JDeveloper proxy?

I have figured this out. Actually Generate proxy creates package and it includes all the class in it. Now i am able to invoke web service method call.

I have two iCloud accounts, my original one that I used for iTunes years ago which has all my content, apps etc and a mobile me one which I got when I set mobile me up which has all my settings etc, this is causing problems, can I merge them?

As I said I have two iCloud accounts, both do different things, i.e. my original iTunes account has all my app's and music etc, and then also the account which was set up for me when I set up a 'mobile me' account has all my calendars, contacts, settings etc, how can I merge these or even easily set my settings etc to go to my older iTunes account, I have tried to set up family sharing and all I can share is my calendars not my apps because they are with another iTunes account.
I am also a little concerned that my fire vault has just set its self up using the mobile me account, if I was to get rid of an account I imagine this would be the easiest one to ditch then what would happen to all my encrypted data?

I am logged into the same things on both my iPhone and my MacBook Pro, except for mail. I use a gmail IMAP account and everything there already works on both machines. The iCloud account on my iPhone uses one Apple ID and the one on the Mac uses the second Apple ID.

Firefox 6 won't load from the exe file, always looking to remove older file which has been removed.

Windows Vista 7. When I double click on Setup 6.0.exe file, it goes thru the file extraction, and prompts to reboot to remove old files. (The old files have been previously removed.) The computer restarts and no continuation of loading vs. 6. Then I proceed to click on Firefox Setup 6.o and click RUN. Goes thru set ups steps and then repeats "you computer must be restarted to complete uninstall of Firefox. Do you want to reboot?". If YES, then process repeats itself, if NO, it terminates the installation. Same results with IE and Google Chrome.

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Open AirPort Utility. The first screen looks something like this:
Click on the AirPort Extreme and another screen will appear. Click Edit, then the window with the Wireless tab will appear.
If you do not see these screens, you will need to start over and configure your AirPort again.

When I invoke this JSP, the servlet gets the request and sends a reply, but the
JSP never finishes. The connection isn't dropped, the browser icon keeps spinning,
as if it is still trying to load the page. But nothing ever happens. After more
than 10 minutes or more I get a message in the stdout of weblogic server saying
something about a stuck thread.
Note: The JSP sends an SQL statement to Servlet, which in turn calls a DAO class
to execute the sql and return the result back to Servlet. i m using Weblogic 8.1
Please help me as it is very urgent. Production Problem. It occurs randomly.

It looks like you have an AXIS webservice based Application deployed on the Server which has the following Method: com.test.ws.Stub.getInfo(ClientStub.java:813) the call to that method is happening over HTTPS protocol. getInfo() method might be trying to read a Large amount of Information from some sources which may be taking more than 600 Seconds. 600 Seconds is the Default Duration for WebLogic Threads after which the WebLogic Marks those Threads as Stuck Thread.
So we need to debug the data which is being fetch by the Application code at the following line com.test.ws.Stub.getInfo(ClientStub.java:813)...It might be possible that sometimes while execution of the above method it might be processing or asking for a Large amount of Data which is more than the Configured Thread Timeout period.
As well as it looks like the Above code is trying to get some data from a remote Server/JVM beacuse it is getting stuck while reading Data from a Socket:
java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead0(Native Method)
java.net.SocketInputStream.read(SocketInputStream.java:129)
So u need to check the Other end also from where the code is actually trying to get the Information or Data ....*com.test.ws.Stub.getInfo(ClientStub.java:813)*
Developers can easily findout what the "ClientStub.java" classes method getInfo() is actually doing.

Why do Sony DSC-RX100M3 raw files look strange in PE9 when flash has been used in the shot?

I have just bought a Sony DSC-RX100M3 camera and use it to shoot raw + jpeg. I want to use the raw files in my Photoshop Elements 9, which has the Camera Raw plug-in version 6.5.0.216 installed. I have downloaded the Adobe DNG converter version 8.7.1.311 so I can import my Sony raw files into PE 9 as they cannot be used directly. Most of the time these raw files look OK, but when I use the flash on my camera and then look at the raw files in PE9 they look far more pink than the corresponding jpeg files. The jpeg files look more or less as I remember the scene when I shot the picture.
When I look at the same raw and jpeg files in Sony's own Image Data Converter software (version 4.2.04.17270) the raw and jpeg files look very similar to one another, and there is no pink colour cast in the raw file.
What am I doing wrong in Photoshop Elements? I though the DNG converter keeps all the information from the original raw file and makes no changes to it, so why does the raw file look so different when flash has been used?

Looking at the pictures of the camera online, I'd say there is no lens shade--a device to keep light from the sides from causing lens flare--and the camera lens, itself, was just too far extended and there was a lens shadow. You probably can't use the flash that close up and should back off and zoom in further. Experimenting would give you a sense of what situations will have a shadow of the lens or not.
Your ACR plug-in is old enough not use have Process Version 2012, yet, only 2010 and 2003 so Adobe didn't have the idea to put the selector down next to the camera profile. The toning options are better with Process 2012 so that would be a reason to upgrade, but I am not sure that the Camera Neutral profile in PSE9 would be different than PSE13. If Adobe changed the camera profiles then people's pictures would look different once they upgraded to a new version and that's not something that's supposed to happen.
You can certainly download the PSE13 trial and see if things look any different, but they may not: Download a free trial or buy Adobe products | Adobe downloads There would be newer minimum OS version requirements for the newer versions of Adobe software so check those out before trying to install, unless you're on Windows 7+ or OSX 10.8+ then it should be fine.
One more thing, the White-Balance tint is set to +10 by the camera:
This As Shot WB is more magenta and even when using the Adobe Standard profile, moving the Tint down to +0 makes things a little more green like your camera JPG. So there is more than just changing the camera profile that you can do:
