I am behind the times. I didn't upgrade my iPad 2 in May. I am not very tech savvy. What do I do to be current on my IPad 2? How do I back up and save my current files?
I didn't upgrade my iPad2 last May and I don't know what I need to do. I also don't know how to backup my iPad2. I am obviously not very tech savvy. Any help is appreciated.

I am not very tech savvy, installed Firefox and it won't communicate with my Incredimail. If I click on a link in my email it does nothing. ie: if i click on the pay now button on ebay or paypal it goes nowhere. also is there a way to transfer all my favorites/bookmarks from IE to firefox. I cannot help with Incredimail, but I do know how to transfer bookmarks.
One can use File > Import from the menu or export favourites from IE as .html and then import the file into Firefox from the "Show all bookmarks" window. To get the menu to show up, press Alt. Firefox should have offerecd to import several items from IE when you first set it up. Did it not do that? -
I am looking at buying a MacBook Air over the Pro mainly for the 12 hour battery. Just wondering if battery is compromised by upgrading to 8mb and upgrading to I7 Intel dual core. I am not very tech savvy so apologies if dumb question
If both computers were configured identically, then they would both lose the same amount of battery life with respect to the same starting configuration - comparing apple to apples. I don't know how much the added RAM, etc. would reduce battery life, but it would be less for both models.
Battery life is a tricky subject because most mfgr.s like to suggest as long a life as possible, but often do so under a set of conditions that are not common to most users. Apple is no different. Their computers do have good battery life, however. But not likely as long as what is in the ads for the typical user. -

I've been trying to fix this problem, seems like it would be simple, but apparently it is not. I just want to turn up the master volume control under my input tab in MIDI audio devices so I can use my blueball microphone.
This image above is what I'm currently dealing with. I put a red box around the volume control I want to use. That is the one I can't turn up because it is locked/frozen.
Please make steps as simple as possible!

How to change and save a new file in Edge web Lumira server for Team ?

I've installed SAP Lumira 1.0, Edge edition and View a sample 'Dairy Wholesaler-Sample"
I'd like to change it and save as new file, but "Save" button is disabled and when I put my mouse over the button,
it says "Save Option is disabled in this version".
Is there any idae how to change and save as a new file in Lumira Edge ?

server for teams is 1.0. This version uses Lumira 1.22 as its 'engine' as this
was the version of Lumira Desktop that was shipped at the same time.
Hence with the current Lumira
version compatibility; namely that a newer version of the product can open an
older document, but an older version cannot open a newer document, care must be
taken when deploying Lumira server for teams.
Lumira server for teams is only
compatible with Lumira desktop 1.22. If you intend to deploy Lumira server for
teams, ensure your desktop users do not move to a later version of the desktop.
Content created in a later version of Lumira desktop can be uploaded and shared
via Lumira server for teams, but it cannot be viewed or edited online in the
browser.
Ensure desktop users disable the
auto update capabilities in the desktop preferences, and set the update to

Just updated my iPhone 4 from IOS 6.1.3 to 7.1.2, I know I am behind the times, but I got there eventually! All seems well but I have one specific problem and hope someone can offer a helpful suggestion.
On opening the app "Find my iPhone" I add my password and sign in, to be greeted with a screen that says;
"Update Find My iPhone. A new version of Find My iPhone is available from the App. Store. You must install the update to continue using the app. Update now"
On hitting the "Update now" button I'm taken to the relevant page on the App Store, to be told that I cannot update as it needs IOS8 to be able to continue and as my iPhone is only a 4 cannot install IOS8.
I'm left going around in circles. The only thing would be to delete the app, but looks like I could not re-install the version I would need. Any body have any thoughts or suggestions? (Apart from updating my phone, I have a few months left on the contract!)

I have tried as you suggested, and when opening the "purchased" apps some have the icloud logo next to them, but I only have "OPEN" against "Find My iPhone". When opening it up, it goes through the same routine; needs to be updated before proceeding, and wouldn't update because I don't have IOS8.
Anything else I could try, or am I doomed!

I have a Macbook Air (july 2012) with OS X 10.8.3 installed. I have dvds with .vob files and have Quicktime Version 10.2 (603.12). I can't play the DVDs. There are some features of QT that I like, e.g. precise frame selection and save as .png file-help. Am I missing some Apple software? I thought QT for Mountain Lion could convert the .vob files - is there some setting that I have missed?

Anyone know if there is a way to edit and save .AC3 audio files in Audition 3?
Every time you open any coded file at all in Audition, you lose quality if you resave it in anything other than an uncompressed format. With most formats, what is even worse is saving them in a different compressed format, because you end up with twice as many different coding artefacts.
What you need to understand is that all of these formats are distribution formats, not editing ones. The basic principle is that you work in an uncompressed format until the last possible moment - ie, distribution. And that, ideally, is the only time you use a compressed format at all. So if you want to use something that's compressed, you uncompress it once, and don't recompress until you absolutely have to. -

I have a problem during the collect data and save it in file with the HP8753C

I'm using the "HP8753 collect and display data.vi" with the functionnality "save" in file (.txt or xls).
When I'm using it to collect and save data one time to time, I have no problem. But when I would like to use it to collect and save several data with a structure "For", the HP8753 status will become blocked and the collect and save data in file is disable.
The only function "collect data" with a structure "for" is Ok but will become not OK with the option "save" in file. Why, please ?Hello,

It sounds like your instrument is "hanging" or "freezing" when you try to read and save data from it in LabVIEW.
I took a look at the context help for that particular VI. It appears that if you attempt to read data from the HP8753 while it is also taking measurements, it can cause the instrument to hang. This may be the problem you are experiencing.
Look over your program and ensure that the instrument is not trying to take new measurements as you read data from it in LabVIEW. Sequence structures may be useful in this regard. If you are still experiencing problems, however, let me know.
