No, all content that you download from the store is tied to the account that downloaded it, it can't be transferred to another account

Honestly, I don't think that they have any other way of accessing anything on the iPad than any other user has. The Apple Store genius will just put the device through the standard troubleshooting steps - in your case probably try to restore the device to factory settings and if that doesn't work, then they will make some sort of offer for a replacement assuming that your iPad is still under warranty.
If I'm not mistaken they will probably erase the device in order to try to "fix" it. That's what restoring to factory settings does. I assumed that you were concerned about losing data - but if you are concerned that they are going to see something that you don't want them to see or access, I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.

If I take off ALL my toolbars, is there any way I can get them back without restarting in Safe Mode?

I needed more of a browser window to run a tutorial, the start button was below sight of my window. So I took off all my toolbars and then I had enough room to see the top of the start button (tab?), enough for it to work. But then I had no toolbars and ended up having to restart in Save Mode and reset them. Is there any way to at least get back the menu toolbar when they have all been deleted? Thanks, Bill

You wont lose them...they'll still be on your device...you just wont be able to update or redownload them...this is why...people shouldnt share accounts.

Does this mean that the TomTom, which is absolutely vital to my life - well, not literally but you know what I mean - can no longer be used with my MacBook Pro? Does Apple want to drive us into using PCs or what is going on? Is there a driver or some other clever means of making the TomTom work as they used to work with Macs? What that means is that is can't be used with Lion 10.7. PowerPC was the chip Apple used up until 2006 when they switched to Intel. At that point, they created the Rosetta emulator to allow for PPC support for 5 years. They finally dropped the support with the release of Lion. It will only work with OS X 10.6 or earlier. The other option is to purchase a new GPS, which can be had for $100 for a decent one.

The short answer is no. If you don't remember the passcode, there is no way around it. You have to restore the phone.

Unfortunately, no. Using Find My iPhone to put it in lost mode will not change a passcode that has already been set on a device.

The same way the photos were transferred from your computer, via the iTunes sync process.
Deselect sync photos under the photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes followed by sink to remove all.
