I changed my server at the end of May & all worked well until the past week end since when I am getting a message saying that I cannot get email because the server will not connect - although it does. It also claims that it was last backed up on Friday last despite having had several emails since Friday. What has happened & can I get email back to normal?

I am also getting the same message on my iPad, when connecting to a Win7 PC.
I have tried the solutions given at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1567 but no solution.
I am desperate to get a backup of my iPad. The PC recognises the device but iTunes fails to do so and says -

Cannot install itunes 11.1.3 to my windows vista home premium 32-bit. After it finishes the download that it verifies the file I get a message saying "this file cannot be downloaded".
