Error compiling Illustrator CS6 plugin on Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite)

Hi @all,
if i try to compile a Illustrator (CS6) plugin on Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) and use the MacOS 10.5 SDK, I get the following error:

I'm surprised there's a 68K setting at all, given that CS6 had been on Intel architecture for so long. Have you had any luck since then?
I tried compiling the sample AI6 plugins with OS X 10.8 (I think) and it worked fine, although I wasn't able to make any headway because the loss of ADM made for a very, very steep learning curve. Anyway, fast-forward a couple of years and I have time again to give this another shot, hoping to use Xcode to build a Mac interface, but I'm having a different puzzling error. I'm on a late 2012 iMac now with Yosemite 10.10.3. I downloaded Xcode 5.1.1 and am using that (after my system automatically updated to Xcode 6) and am getting an error:
Carbon.h file not found
Is it just not possible to compile for CS6 under Yosemite?
I'd really, really appreciate any suggestions.

How do I "get outlines" in Illustrator CS6. Option was available in version 4, but now is gone. Have tried copying an InDesign-created outline but it will not copy.

Photoshop CS6 & 5 Errors and Illustrator CS6

Hi All,
Been asked by support chat to post this in here.
I am running Yosemite (and have been with no issues at all) with my Macbook Pro, and have had CS6 running and Photoshop CS5.
I am now getting errors with CS6 Illustrator and Photoshop, and also CS5 Photoshop. Indesign CS6 is working with no problems at all.
I've tried a few different things suggested by people, but I'm not very "techy" so for some the issue might be quite obvious, but to me I can't work it out. Apple support have said to speak directly to adobe .
I've attached 3 screenshots of the errors in order of Photoshop CS6 / 5 & Illustrator CS6 - any help of tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Unknown error: [UNKN] - Illustrator cs6

I'm a Illustrator cs6 user, and the last days, I'm getting this error when I'm saving some files...
The file seems to be ok, I didn't find yet what this error does especifically, but the MB size turns bigger than a regular/similar file without the error.
Then, I tried to start again from zero, and when I finally rebuild the files, I get that error again at the end. Could you explain me the meaning of that error and how to fix it? - even if I have to fix it by code ?-. I didn't find useful information with a regular google search.

I'm a designer, so the file contains the usual: some text (I already checked the font and has no problems), a 'tab' with a drop shadow, a vector draw and a link low res in .psd format. Let's say nothing unusual.
I usually save my files like this:
(Because I concern about the size and I check the first ones only when it's necesary).
I won't show the name of the files, but I've made this experiment:
1. Shows the size of the file that I've made from zero after I found out about the error. (But there's no time to do that every time).
2. The second shows the size of the original file that shows the 'error'.
3. That's the file you told me to save turning off the compression option, but ICC Profiles is on.
4. In this file compression is on but ICC Profiles is off.
5. Finally... in this file everything is off.
...I didn't find out YET what this error does 'inside' the file... but I'm sure it does something more besides the size of the file, because if I copy and paste any element of the file with error in another one, no matter if I start from zero the other things, it shows the error when I save :S

Unknown error in Illustrator CS6 - Never seen it before

I was opening up an illustrator document I was working on yesterday and encountered this error:
When I clicked "ok", the document did open, but all of the work I did on it yesterday was missing. Really hope it can be recovered somehow because I don't want to have to re-create it.

I've read that I can use a text editor to save the correct extension and then I can add it to my "/Illustrator CS6/Presets" directory, so I can run it within illustrator. When trying to save photos get error (memory RAM, CS6)

After working on the photo, if you try to keep getting the error
could not save as ***.jpg because there is not enough memory ram. try saving without optimization or as baseline jpeg
My notebook config:
core i3 M380. 2.53 GHz
memory 2gb
hdd ~ 40gb free disk C.
graphic integrated
Adobe Photoshop CS 6 13.0.1.1
Windows 7 32bit
PS Preferences:
     Memory used
     Available RAM: 1531 Mb
     Let Photoshop Use: 995 Mb (65%)
Scratch Disks:
     C:\ 42.59 Gb Free Space
     D:\ 41.23 Gb Free Space

You have the bare minimum RAM for the program to launch. Running it well is a different matter.
You don't have nearly enough available drive space on that C drive to accomodate both the swap files of the OS and a Photoshop scratch disk. Your D drive is woefully short on space too.
My system is bare bones minimal and I have a dedicated 250 GB hard drive as my primary Photoshop scratch drive.
The error message you are getting means exactly what it says.

I can not longer open Illustrator files. I get this message. If I click on More info... I go to a page that doesn't seem to exist.
Loading a Java runtime doesn't seem to fix it either.
Unhappy. I have grading to do.

You may be able to get round the legacy JAVA requirement as follows:
Create empty folders at “/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk” and “/System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle”, to make Illustrator use Jave SE 8 as it should.

Help on an error in Illustrator CS6

I am geettting the message when I try to open up the file. "Can't open the illustration, there is not enough room for the window, increase document size and try again." Any suggestions on how to fix this. I can open one file but if I open another it gets this message. I can only open the file by going to file- open.

a) AI calls its workspace "Preview" for a reason
b) Monitor limitations myay contribute further (limited gamut on LCDs)
c) There will be banding once it goes to print
In conclusion: You can't fix it unless you change your design. Large, uniform gradients are always problematic.

How do I delete illustrator cs6 Creative Suite from my system and install it again?

Each and every time I attempt to fire up Illustrator CS6 from Creative Suite Master Collection version, I get an error: " Adobe illustrator CS6 has stopped working"

How can I get Illustrator CS6 to update? I get Installation error code U44M1P7

I have a windows 8.1 machine. When I installed Design Standard CS6, I got error messages for Illustrator CS6, Photoshop CS6 regular and Photoshop CS6 64-bit.
I checked for Adobe updates, and after installing all of these, I still get an error for Illustrator.
It tells me "Adobe Illustrator CS6 Update (version 16.0.3) Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7
From some of the other message boards, I have seen the thing to do is re-try the update.
I have done this three times, but Illustrator still has the same problem.
What can e done to troubleshoot? I am directed to contact customer care for this issue.

Getting an "u43m1d204" error when trying to update Illustrator CS6

I keep getting an "u43m1d204" error when trying to update Illustrator CS6 to 16.2.1 as part of my Creative Cloud subscription.
I'm updating via the Adobe Applicatioin Manager (Version 7.0.0.233 (7.0.0.233)).

Illustrator cs6 is getting error 1 continuously!

Yeh, I know the topic is just old and everyone has spoken about it but my problem is different.
I have DELL Latitude E6410 32 bit and my Adobe Illustrator cs6 is just giving me error 16 on normal double clicking and error 1 on run as administrator. I installed, re-installed, re re installed and re re re re... installed but nothing happens.. Everytime when I install it works fine but certainly the next day error shows up.
Note: I have Adobe Photoshop cs6 too and its just perfectly working fine.. I can see a small shield icon attached with PS logo on desktop but couldn't get shield icon with Illustrator cs6... I think Adobe illustrator is not working with admin and that's why problem is occurring..
Please I'm just fed up of this and I had to write on Adobe forum to get help!

Did you reinstall using the full three step way (otherwise strange things may linger)?
Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.
