I am having problem for activate adobe form in transaction.code SFP

Dear friends,
I am getting one dialogbox with error message when ever i activate adobe form in transaction code sfp.
ERROR is :
THis form refers to external files which where not found on this computer. please create a connection to the following folder so that these files can be found.
http://localhost:8000/sap/bc/form/layout/

exactly the same problem here.
Somebody any idea?

Attach ADOBE form to transaction code.

Dear All,
I have a solution to be implemented wherein I need to attach an offline Interactive Abobe form to a transaction code.
The scenario is the end user has access to this custom transaction code which when he executes should open the form for him. He would then fill in the contents and submit it which would trigger an custom workflow process.
We do not wish to use WebDynpro application and hence would appreciate if any useful information is provided.

I am not sure if that is what you want, but what I would do:
1) create a transaction code
2) create a printing program (trivial), set printing settings to immediate preview
3) create an interface and adobe form layout
4) link the transaction and the program together, now when a person runs the transaction, the printing proram gets triggered and as an output it provides a blank (or pre-filled) adobe form
5) now you have the UI ready but miss the way how to trigger the WF from the form
6) to get 5) you need to create a web service and connect the webservice with your adobe form, there are plenty resources on how to do this
7) you should be able to trigger the workflow through a simple adobe form protected as a custom transaction

Adobe forms - Print forms using transaction code SFP

Hi All,
I had created a PDF form. It is a print form and it is not a dynamic form.
I have a subforms in the form.
Using scripting, I have to display and hide the subforms at runtime.
I tried to write the script using the Script editor in the Palatte menu in the layout.
I wrote the following script:
xfa.host.messageBox($.somExpression) for a particular field in the layout, but how to test it.
Is there any way to see the message box with the somExpression.
Kindly help me. I am using FormCalc as scripting lanuguage.

With the PDF preview tab (be sure the script runs at client side; should be working for a simple script such as this one) or by running your form...

Problem in creating Adobe form

Hi,
I am creating Adobe interactive form in Transaction code SFP.
I have created the interface .then I have transported and activated all the fields in context. After I click on layout , it is not displaying data view which contains all fields.
Due to this problem I can not drag and drop to the design view.
How the data view with fields will be displeyd in layout set.

Go to SFP, then the Context tab. Confirm that you have fields mapped from your interface to the Context Section on the right side of the screen.
Go to the Layout tab.
Goto the Adobe Menu and select Palettes-->Data View.
If your data view is not showing up after this, try reinstalling Adobe Live Cycle Designer.

Problem activating simple adobe form from SFP

Hi
I created a simple adobe form from transaction SFP....2 steps ...created interface then form.
the problem is when try to activate the form there are no syntax errors but iam getting a message
1,275 bytes transmitted, code page 0000
Message no. FES032
and the form is still inactive...
any idea why iam getting this error? is configuration from basis not configured properly?

Authorization Profile needed for ISR Adobe Forms

Hi,
We have a couple of Custom ISR's and PCR's that are launched in Enterprise Portal.
Well my Development ID had SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW Profiles attached.
Now, when we started testing with the sample Test id's which doesnt have SAP_ALL or SAP_NEW profiles, we are getting error in ENTERPRISE PORTAL saying that...
"You are not authorized to use the Notification Type 99"
Can anyone help me out in knowing the exact Authorization Objects for our Adobe Forms to run in EP.
I cannot attach SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profiles to all my users.

Im new to the ISR framework implementation.
We have a problem when we try testing a scenario using the adobe part, we have not done this before and we getting errors.
We get the following errors:
1. When using Administrator and Adsuser:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: ComponentUsage(FPMConfigurationUsage): Active component must exist when getting interface controller. (Hint: Have you forgotten to create it with createComponent()? Should the lifecycle control of the component usage be "createOnDemand"?
2. When i use my profile username:
com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized. The requested URL was:"https://10.142.252.157:50001/AdobeDocumentServicesSec/Config?style=document:50000/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=document"
Can anyone advise me on what i should configure so that this can work properly...
Is it an issue with the authorisation, because the ADS tests are all working.

Its not showing any Syntax Error. Still its not gettng Activated.

1. Checked ADS by executing program FP_PDF_TEST_00 it is fine
2. Installed ADLC 8.2
3. Adobe reader 9 is installed.

Please can anyone tell me, what INBOUND MAIL PROCESSING in SAP for Offline ADOBE FORM?
What is concept and how to use it, is any program need to write for that or only need to configure it.
I have searched the SDN, but only get topic how to configure inbound mail processing.
I am new to this area; please any one put some light on it.

Hi Pavneet,
Inbound processing of an offline adobe form consists of several things -
a) an email id to be created on the server (to accept the mail & process the adobe form - this needs to have the right roles)
b) the smtp config needs to be done by basis
c) the abap developer needs to create a handler class that gets called when an email is recd in SAP. This handler class has 3-4 methods (first to read the mail and extract the pdf, convert data in pdf to the abap variable, process the form to do the specific function in sap (which will vary from requirement to another).

But you could pass the user-agent as incoming claim type Client User agent. User-agents can be manipulated, so if that is an issue you can look into Device Registration and the Device OS type from there. That is also a incoming claim but requires DRS and
DRS is not available for all plattforms.

Hi Sanjeet,
I think the thread that you have read have different program number.
Please follow the below mentioned steps:
1. First execute report S_ALR_87013558. Then go to System->Status and copy the program number from there.
2. Go to se38 and put the program number and execute.
3. Go to Program at the top menu and now there you can see the option Execute in Background available there.
4. Execute and save it as variant.
5. Go to SM36, mention the job name and enter. Put the variant and save.
6. Go back, and go to start condition and start immediate or as per date/time desired.
Try this, if it works.

Problem with the Adobe Forms

I am having two issues regarding Interactive Adobe forms.
We are impelementing MSS/ESS in ECC5.0,EP6 and first , in the PCR after i select " Change Employee Group/subgroup" (edit it, preview it) then when i click on Submit button it gives me Parser Exception . Error message reads as below :

second, When i select either "Request for Internal Transfer(Enhanced)" or "Request Promotion " it displays a warning message " Form could not be called up due to an internal error " . Rest of the form types i am able to get them ( view,edit,preview and submit )
What could be issue in both the cases here. Need your help on this

Hi Vijay,
Check if your XML code is properly. You can do this by going into t-code SFP, open form ISR_FORM_SPEG and go to the layout tab.
Now Adobe Designer will start. If you don't have a XML tab, Select View > XML source. You can copy the XML source in a new text file and display it with Internet Explorer. If it works, you will see the XML source. If it fails, you will receive an XML parse error from IE.
The problem may occur by using different languages. SAP provides the SPEG and other MSS scenarios as an example.
