Hi, I just got the iphone 4 and connected to my computer but i am unable to update to software version 5.0.1. Check for any anti-virus or anti-spyware software you might have. Temporarily disable that to continue. Normally this is what will cause a timeout. I assume you have a good Internet connection?

I have been uploading videos to FaceBook for about a month now with no problems. Yesterday, I went to post another video and got this message "user has opted out of FaceBook Platform." I can still post photos from this computer as well as make regular written posts. All videos posted are 10-11 minutes in length.
I too have noticed that once i restored from iCloud. Pictures blurry and videos wont play!

my itunes won't install the new itunes. I keep getting error messages that seem to be linked to MobileMe service which I don't even know what it is.

Every time I try to download the new version it just says I can not download the new version of Firefox. I keep getting a message that says "Firefox 5.0.1dmg could not be opened, because an unknown error occurred - Try saving to disk first and then opening the file"
If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded

I previously was able to wirelessly ePrint to my HP Photosmart Plus e-All-In-One B210a using both my iPad & iPhone (both run IOS 5.1). For some unknown reason neither one can now print. I keep getting a message that the printer is no longer available. My MacBook continues to print ok. Any ideas?
Reboot everything. Router, printer and pad. If it used to work, it will again. It just lost itself somewhere.

Which particular .msi file does the message go on to say can't be found? (Several different .msi files can be mentioned in this context: itunes.msi, bonjour.msi, AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi, etc.)

When i try to update my iphone with the new software, it will give me a message that says connection time timed out, and then it says some other little things about a network not having a connection. i checked all of that and it is all fine. Im not sure why it is not working. i even restarted my laptop, all of my stuff is up to date. Does any one have any sollutions or any advice? Please and thank you!

I have Mac OS X 10.4.11 and use Firefox. I keep getting a message that QuickTime 7.6.6 plug in is out of date. I have done the software update and it shows no current updates available. Certain videos won't play and it says that this may make my computer vulnerable. Any suggestions?

Are you using the lastest version of Firefox for os 10.4.11? If you are, start using TenFourFox. Quicktime works just fine with that browser. -

The first thing I would suggest is for you to go to the folder containing your catalog, using your system browser. There will be a folder that has the extension .lrdata. Delete that folder, and then try to start Lightroom. If that doesn't work, replace your catalog with your most recent backup.

I have an iphone that is locked to orange and have been waiting over 50 days now for it to be unlocked and keep getting fobbed off with promises to sort it out. I dont know how many calls have been made and am getting really frustrated now. Does anyone know how apple are involved with the unlock as im jst not getting any answers from orange and they just keep saying they dont know why its takng so long

They locked it originally and it is their gift to unlock ....usually in their own time.
