I am having trouble downloading purchase, I keep getting an authorize computer message, I have tried all of the support suggestions and have uninstalled and re-installed iTunes to no avail.

I have tried everything the support page suggests, checking ID, deleting SC file, changing account allowances in windows, I have even uninstalled and reinstalled itunes....I am at a loss for what else to do.

"itunes did not download properly; please reinstal."
What's the precise text of that message, please? (There's a few different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)

Without proper system information and other details nobody can help you. and this error means what it says - some other install process is still active, even if it may not do so visible. Could be a silent update of a virus scanner or something, could be a botched install of another program, not even specifically Adobe. As a start, always reboot your computer and then try again. For anything else we need much more info.

1) Copy all music files to a thumb drive / external hard drive.
2) Open iTunes on your MacBook Pro (congrats!)
3) Under the File Menu, select "Add to Library." Navigate to the folder with your music in it and click "Open." Bam! Music.

Having trouble downloading purchased music(Error Code -50)

I just got my i-pod up and running on this new computer. When I purchased an album to download to the computer it seems to act like it is downloading and then gives me an (Error Code -50) telling me to check the advanced button to try and download later. I have tried this ten time and keep getting (error code -50). Anybody have an idea to fix this problem?

A -50 usually indicate that something is blocking the connection to the store. You need to make sure that all firewalls, pop-up blockers, etc. have iTunes as an allowed site. If by chance you use a router, you will need to make sure that iTunes is authorized through the router.

TS1362 I have tried all of the above "fixes" and the cd that I just downloaded won't play properly. It says that the song is 3:33 long but only 1:40 of it plays before skipping to the next track

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

I am trying to Buy/Downlaod logic Pro x and I also have enough money in the itunes account to purchase logic, but I keep getting asked the same things over and over and not getting anywhere. (have to keep puttin gin my app id password, billing info etc...)when i click done, it goes back to needing my app id password. I will also mention that I am in Puerto Rico , but i dont think that it is the problem, but when i tried to change the country, it doesnt allow Puerto rico. HELP??!?! haha

There is nowhere that you can download it from. You need your Mac OS X install disk. If you can't find it, you'll need to replace it. Then you can install Mail from that disk.

iMessages. I have gone into settings and turned off iMessages for one minute then reactivated it. Then I turned off network settings and then back on again. Today I'll try and restore the phone again to see if that works. Frustrating!

I had the same problem and tried restarting my computer. It configured windows updates for a while, then iTunes downloaded successfully. Hope this helps!

I have also been having another problem - with BBC iPlayer and other video streaming not working due to insufficient bandwidth, despite my overall download speed being consistently around 50Gb. This is also affecting AppleTV downloads
I am using Virgin Media as my ISP, and was wondering whether you do as well. This might be the common thread.
