I am having troble installing Itunes 11.1.1. I get erro message 2502 and 2503. Any help?
Windows 7 32 bits
I had the same issue which is now solved. For your information, the following procedure was successful:
Check permissions within the Installer folder. To do this, follow these steps.
1. Click on Start and in the Start Search bar > type in > c: /windows/installer.
2. Right click on c: /windows/installer at the top under programs and click properties.
3. Click on the security tab > Verify if System and Administrator account has Full access permissions.
Note : I ran into problem with locating the C:\windows\installer directory. For some reason Windows Explorer wouldn't show it even though I don't have it hidden. I ended up using the ExplorerXP application to locate the directory. ExplorerXP is available at http://www.explorerxp.com/

i am trying to install itunes 10.5 but I get an error message that says "click ok to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package iTunes.msi..." I try to point iTunes to the .msi file on my c drive but then it gives me a message says "the file location is not a valid installation packaage for the product iTuness. Try to find the installation package 'itunes.msi' in a folder from which you can install iTunes". Any help, insight, guidance would be greatly appreciated!!
"The feature you are trying to use in on a network resource that is unavailable. Enter alternate path to a folder containing the installation package itunes64.msi".
Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

Every time I try to install an update for iTunes 11.0.2, I get an error message 103. Has anyone else had this problem and found a way to fix this?
I did it the .dmg way alone and has problems with itunes crashing. This is a better way to ensure that there is not anything left behind to cause issues.
You need to backup your computer then uninstall I-tunes and reinstall itunes.
Delete iTunes
Deleting iTunes is not recommended unless you know what you’re doing.
Launch Terminal from the UTILITIES within Applications
Type the following commands:
cd /Applications/
This brings you into the Applications directory, the next command deletes iTunes itself:
sudo rm -rf iTunes.app/
Enter the Administrator password to confirm
There is no warning or confirmation other than entering the admin password, iTunes will immediately be deleted, effectively uninstalling it from the Mac.
Deleting the iTunes application will NOT delete the ITUNES or music, and any purchases bought through iTunes will still remain tied to the Apple ID used to originally buy them.
You can download the newest version from Apple, and running their installer will bring iTunes back to life on your computer.

(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Updateentries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

I have attempted to download itunes to my windows 8 operating system computer and it keeps telling me that it has encountered and unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error messages are 2502 and 2503. Any help?
I did find one post saying to download to "downloads" folder, wherever,,,, then right click, and Run as Administrator and don't just click run from the online prompt. Mine installed without a hitch. All the programs, I-Tunes, Quicktime, and Steam installer for games.
who'da thunk it? It finally works, I can load my I-pod Nano, "gen 5", and view quicktime vids. -

I am having trouble installing iTunes
I am having trouble installing iTunes, getting the error stating that apple application support was not found. I have uninstalled and re-installed several time. I followed the directions giving on installation problems in the support area. Help please.
Report the problem to Apple using Apple Support -- if it is 11.3 there is a problem with podcasts - and last time I checked on=line support page was not found.

My new iPad was connected to My wifes computer after having trouble installing iTunes. My wifes appleid and stuff ended up in My iPad. How do we change to My new appleid and get hers out of My iPad? Without damaging her account?
Refer this article to reset Winsock to it's default. Your PCTools may have inserted LSP.

After reset and restarting windows, you may get a prompt to remap LSP, click no. -
I HAVE 2 HARD DRIVES ON MY LAPTOP. MY PHOTOS ARE ON 1 HARD DRIVE & MY ITUNES IS ON ANOTHER HARD DRIVE. I AM HAVING TROUBLE SYNCING THE PHOTOS FROM THE SEPERATE HARD DRIVE ONTO MY IPOD TOUCH. ANY HELP?
There is a whole lot of bad going on there.
There are problems both drive errors and USB errors. I don't believe it.
I have a hunch the drive is starving for power.
USB devices are supposed to function all the way down to 4.25V. Not all do.
USB ports are supposed to be able to deliver 4.25V at the end of the cable at 500mA. Not all do.
USB 2.0 devices are not supposed to draw more than 100mA unless they negotiate for more. Some violate that.
USB 2.0 devices are never supposed to draw more than 500mA. Some violate that. Especially disk drives.
My guess is that your drive is drawing excess current and the voltage drop through the port and cable are dropping you below 4.25; or at least below the voltage that your drive goes "Tango Uniform"[1]. Does your drive have the option for external power? If so try it. Following up on wtx's comment; USB 3.0 is capable of delivering more power. Also, some drives have used a cable that violates just about every aspect of the USB specification: A "Y" cable that plugs into two host ports to provide more power to the guest. I despise this solution with every fiber of my electrical engineering existence; never-the-less, you might try one.
