I am having trouble printing to a non PS printer from illustrator - Ricoh SG 3110.

I have tried Adobe Illustrator CS 5 -6 and now have a Trail version of CC and everything still prints the same. I have an IMAC OSX 10.9
I can rasterize the artwork at 600 dpi and it prints OK, but will not print through any setting I have selected.
I can save the artwork and open it through Photoshop and it prints OK and I can place it in indesign and print as Bitmat at 600dpi and it prints OK
Does illustrator print from a Mac differently than a PC? My old PC running illustrator 10 works perfectly every time

Have you tried saving as a PDF from AI and printing from Acrobat or the free Reader app?

Contact Apple through iTunes Store Support, and explain that you have forgotten your 3 security questions, that you can reset your password, but doing so doesn't reset your security questions.
Remember, support will receive hundreds, if not thousands of requests per day, some from people trying it on, others with little explanation and others that are written extremely poorly. Take the time to explain your situation properly, be precise and concise, brief but comprehensive.

I do get an error message when I double click to install:
“The file archive part of Adobe Premiere Elements 10 is missing.
You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe Premiere Elements 10.
Please download all parts”.
When on the Adobe site there are many choices which is confusing.
Please direct me to the correct one….

if you don't have a dataplan and rely on wifi for internet that is how it works
if you do have a dataplan it sounds like it's not set up correctly in which case you should contact your carrier

How do you get inDesign to print to a non postscript printer (HP laserjet 1200). Running CS3 on Mac 10.4.11
iD will not let me sellect the printer but defaults to Postscript file.

A quick way around printing to any non-PostScript printer is to export or distill a PDF and print that.
I've used this trick for years to print "colour proofs" on various different inkjet printers.

I have an Epson USB printer CX7400 (does not have AirPrint) connected to an Apple Airport Express that is connected to an Apple Time Capsule wirelessly.
I can print from my MacBook and other Ubuntu systems.
But...
I have iDevices (iPad etc) that I would like to print from to.
I have a MacBook pro with the current operating system and updates and notice that I can share the printer on the network.
I have seen posts (might be old?) where that was enough to print from and iPad or iPhone etc?
Is that still true?

No, but you might be able to print from the iOS devices but installing an App like Printopia on your Mac. Printopia has a free trial, so you will know if it will work before you buy.

I agree. I don't rely on iCloud as a backup, that is what I have my portable hard drive for. Its 500 GB so I can hold my entire iTunes library several times over on it. I have all my movies on my hard drive, but somehow "The Mist" got deleted off of my hard drive, so I figured "Well, the option to redownload an already purchased movie is available through iCloud, I'll just do that!"
And permissions and download availability have nothing to do with it, the movie's still there, it still allows me to redownload it. The only problem is when I click download, I get that message.
And nobody else uses my computer, but I do have multiple accounts authorized on it. Even still though, I am attepmpting to download it through the account I purchased it under. :/

This problem started when I got a new HP computer over a year ago. Photos now print so dark and don't come close to matching what is on screen. What is the file system on that drive? Is it formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled)?
And what is your iPhoto version? iPhoto 9.5.1?

I tried several different routers, but could never get my new Seagate 4tb external hardrive to connect to use with Time Machine. I finally gave up and purchased a new Time Capsule today. It's a work of art, and working well as a router and harddrive. That said, I cannot get my Brother Laser Printer (HL-5370DW) to print.
It's a networked printer and my computer finds it, but it will not print anything.
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to get it working?

Mavericks often needs new drivers.. did you check the brother website for new drivers for 10.9.
Delete all the previous references to this printer.. and any other printer if they no exist.
Try and load again the new printer according to the Mavericks instructions.. this is actually nothing to do with the TC.. since the printer is network and using wireless or ethernet (not USB!!). Then the TC it is simply another client.

CC&B Payment receipt - Printing with a non-POS printer

Hello Experts,
We are facing 2 issues with the payment receipt functionality in CC&B :
- Our client want to print those receipt with a desktop printer (non POS). Is it possible to modify extend the printing option offered by CC&B ?
- We also want to modify the content/format of the receipt. Is it possible to modify it ?
I havn't found any content about those receipt modification and non-POS printer usage. Do you have any experience about it ?

I'm not sure if there is a standard way of doing this, but what you can do is to alter the print button to invoke a UI Map instead that will contain the dynamic values on what needs to be printed, the same JSP that invokes the UI Map will have to call the page print functionality of the browser.
You can also research on how to automate the print spooling process so you don't need to see the Print option pop up.

Printing Postscript to non Postscript Printers from QuarkXPress

QuarkXPress (6.5) had previously been able to print to the Gimp Print driver and you were able to specify a postscript PPD. GhostscriptESP would then handle the RIPing of the file to any supported non postscript printer. This would include pulling in the high resolution data for placed Photoshop and Illustrator EPS files
This scenario was true if using Mac OS X 10.3 (which includes the Gimp Print Drivers and Ghostscript) or if you installed Gimp and Ghostscript yourself in Mac OS X 10.2.
Tiger seems to have changed all of this. No PPDs are accessible in the Quark Print dialogue when you have the Gimp printer driver selected.
The problem seems to be associated with Quark as you can drop an eps file into the Gimp print queue and it will RIP and print it perfectly.
There was a suggestion to reinstall the full Ghostscript which had no effect.
One solution I have found is to use the Printfab printer drivers from <http://www.printfab.net/>. These work perfectly but cost between €50 and €90 after the 30 day trial. I am not keen on paying that amount for something that worked perfectly well before.
