I am moving all my iphoto pictures to seperate folders outside of iphoto. I have found iphoto slighlty cumbersome. After I move all pictures from iphoto to a separate file how can I delete all the iphoto photos without deleting the ones in the file?
I am moving all of my iphoto pictures into seperate folders becuase iphoto is great, but a bit cumbersome when I need to transfer all the pictures to a external drive.
1) After I move all pictures, how can I delete the iphoto pictures without destroying the ones I have in files
2) how can I ensure that I have sucessfully captures all the iphoto files so when I delelte from iphoto I have not forgotten any
3) is there a way to determine what duplicate pictures I have?

If you Control click on the iPhoto Library, you'll see a list of folders - one named "Masters". Inside of this folder are all of your original, high-res photos. You can copy them to other folders if you like.
You can't delete iPhoto pics without deleting the ones in the iPhoto Library.
You can copy all of your Masters pics out of the Library, ensuring that you won't forget any.
I don't know of anyway to determine if there are duplicate photos - most (if not all) have a unique name assigned.

Your problem is that she used your icloud ID to connect to icloud and thus had all your data synced to her device. Contacts are not saved in a backup to icloud, since they are stored independently in the Contacts section of icloud. If someone deletes them, they are gone. If you had them on the PC would they be available in some backup you frequently make of the PC?

Then I read my other email.
Then I come back to the boards to read the oldest Unread thread first.
Not linking to the Thread to highlight there is one whilst emailing me is a bit like queue jumping.
As you can see I do read everything eventually during each evening I spend here.
I will keep to the email and only post here if I find the answer. The answer should be shared.

I have both quickoffice and pages on my iPad, and when I try to print from either of those through EpsoniPrint they don't print "normal". And pages prints with a border around it. How can I adjust that or is there a better app for printing via wireless? I have an epson 510, so it's wireless capable but not AirPrint.

My creative cloud files have all been deleted on my machine, all put in the trash (not by me!) I've recovered some but I want to download everything from the creative cloud server before I sync again. is there anyway to do this? or do I have to download every single file individually, which would take hours......
I can see all my files on the cloud server but can't figure out why it has dumped all my local files in the trash.
Thanks!Just to add that, I had exactly the same issue this morning, so it is certainly a more widespread problem rather than an isolated case.
For Adobe's benefit, here's a summary of what happened for me:
All cloud files automatically moved to trash on turning my computer on and auto syncing. All folders remained, but empty.
Files still existed online through the browser, in the Files section and had not been put into Archive.
When I got home to my personal Mac, the exact same situation happened as above. Though I made sure to do a backup before connecting to wifi and allowing it to sync!
Tried signing out and deleting the Creative Cloud files folder, then signing in again, hoping it would re-sync and create all my files again to match what was online, but it just created the directory of empty folders again.
Was on a call with support for an hour which was painful, with them taking control of my screen but having no idea what to do to fix it.
As with you guys, I'd like to download all my files again (not including Archive), but as a batch and not one by one online! Hopefully the sync will fix and download the lot again automatically.
Have you worked out what's wrong yet Adobe?

How can I reformat my Mac OS partition without deleting my bootcamp Windows?
Hi all, I recently feel that my mac OSX - Snow leopard I pressume, version 10.6.8 is running a tad slower than it previous does. Hence I'm thinking about reformatting it. However, as I have booted Windows in a separate partition, I've no clue on how to do a clean reformat without removing windows. I believe it should be pretty simple but I'm clueless about such IT tech matters so I appreciate any help and advice that comes along!
You don't need to do anything special but should make a backup first.

I have read many similar questions on the forum but I see no best ways . I use DAQ card .LabVIEW 8.0, to measure two signals at the same time ( ex: intensity mA (autorange),temperature:0-400oC) and I want to plot them on the same graph. I used stack plots without problems,but it doesnot satisfy me . Help me.

Only on one Y axis the scale is correct, the other is not . ( I want to use one Y axis : 0 to 400, the other :0-10 (or autoscaleY)). The attached screen shot shows that. It is no problem when I use stack plot. Thanks.

How can I remove all returns within the text?
I copied and pasted text onto pages from the internet, but the text does not go all the way to the end of the set margins that i have on Pages, instead it goes about halfway or so and begins on a new line. how can i remove all of the spaces between the words so that it runs the full length of the page.
It blows my mind that i have to resort to seeking help on the apple forums for this problem, it seems like something so simple would be a standard feature when adjusting text on the page. The only thing that could frustrate me more is if it impossible to do on this software, or if it is simple to do and I was too stupid to figure it out.
