I'm not able to log into my File Vault account after restoring from a Time Machine backup

My iPhoto database crashed and I lost my entire Library, so I went into Time Machine to restore it from my latest back up. I wasn't able to get to my iPhoto Library in Time Machine, so in a panic, I just did a total restore. When that was finished, I wasn't able to log into my account because of File Vault. I have no idea what to do! I've tried everything from other posts I've read to no avail. Where I'm at now is, I've created another Admin account and I've enabled the root user. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Try opening Keychain Access (found in /Applications/Utilities), then locate your MobileMe password there (it'll have the same name as your MobileMe username, and will have a MobileMe icon) and delete it.

My keyboard is writing in Greek? even though the settings and fonts say it's writing in standard Apple font? I can't log into any of my accounts, because even though I type the password correctly, the keys are writing and beings submitted in Greek...HELP.

My keyboard went nuts...I got on my MacBook today after not using it for about 24 hours, and the fonts all changed to like Greek. No matter where I am at (web browser, word document, etc). I even went into settings and fonts, and it says it is using Arial or some other standard "Apple" font, but the keys continue to write in Greek.
It gets worse-I logged out thinking I just needed to reboot...but now I cannot get back in because it's still not writing correctly. What's even weired (and I have no idea if this is related or not) but my Capslock Key and my Delete key have like switched roles...ALSO, when I press down the "A" key (as there is an "A" in my password) the keyboard writes it 3 times...even though I only hit it once. SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE. I am a full-time student and need my computer for homework.
I'm locked out AND if I do get in, the font it still messed up as well as the Delete and Capslock keys...

It sounds to me like your keyboard has been damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced. Can you try an external keyboard?

Not able to log into Verizon Cloud on Galaxy Note Pro 12.2

Not able to log into Verizon Cloud getting a message that my phone number has changed and that I should factory data reset the device and then restart to setup my cloud account. I have not changed numbers and don't want to factory data reset.

That is really odd, ThePathfinder. I too would be a bit weary of doing that, but the factory reset isn't as bad as it used to be. Let's try this step first before even considering that route. If you go to Settings > App Manager > All Verizon Cloud > Can you clear the apps cache and data, and possibly uninstall any updates for it? This may be enough to clear past info stored for the app, and may allow you to sign in with no issues.

We have SAP PI 7.0 installed in our landscape. Clients 110 and 100 are created. User ABCD is created in 110 with all (SAP_XI, SAP_SLD, SAP_BC_AI* and SAP_NEW, SAP_ALL) privileges.
I am able to log into 110 with user ABCD. But, I am not able to log into IR, ID, SLD and RWB. I think PI 7.0 by default will be installed on client 001 and later we need to do some settings to make it point to client 110.
Can you please provide me some notes/blogs/links to solve this issue? Thanks in Advance.

I have created a new client 100 and using Note: 940309, We have changed the default client from 001 to 100. In client 100, I have checked in SU01 and found that all PISUPER,PIRWBUSER,etc users got created.
I am able to log into PI using PISUPER(log on pad), but not into IR,ID,SLD and RWB. Can you please let me know why I am getting authentication failure when I am trying to log into Java Engine with user PISUPER ?

Java stack communicates with the abap stack through UME. So if you can log into abap just fine but cannot via java, that means either the ume is not configured properly. Open config tool, navigate to 'cluster_data -> server -> cfg -> services' and edit Propertysheet "com.sap.security.core.ume.service". Change Property and make sure "ume.r3.connection.master.user" and "ume.r3.connection.master.client" is correct. Now make sure that ume.r3.connection.master.user user is not locked in abap. Finally if ume.r3.connection.master.user is not locked, then ensure that the password is set correctly on ume.r3.connection.master.password.
Also make sure that the gateway is running with problems.

Can not able to log into the BPM workspace ?

Hi All,
I am using ALBPM 5.7 enterprise server and deployed my project into the enterprise server.
After the deployment when I tried to log into the workspace it is not taking any of the password.
PS: Before deployment I never tried to login to the workspace since I do not have user id for the project.
There are users in the participant wizard and I even tried to reset the password of existing user but it is still not working. I even tried to create a new participant but still it is not taking the password for the same user.
Is it like the new password/participant will get active only after certain time interval say 24 hrs.
But this is not the case of ALBPM 6.0 as far as my knowledge is concern.
Can somebody let me know where I made anything wrong.
If somebody has BPM administration document (Password Reset/Create participant in 5.7), please let me know.

It sounds like you are trying to log into the workspace with the admin user..... not a participant.
The participants need to be set up in the Process Administrator, (which you will log in via the admin user / pass that was created for the engine).

I have two iPads, one is my son's machine. Previously he had an IPad 1 and mine was an ipad2. The iPad 1 died so I bought myself a new ipad4. I have only one appleID for both machines but created two Game centre accounts as there is a couple of games we both play and have different high scores. ipad 4 is nicely set up with all of my game data but now I would like some help in reinstating My sons game centre account (previously on the ipad1) now on the iPad 2. You and your husband can share a store account and still have seperate iCloud accounts for your contacts, bookmarks and stuff like that. Click here for instructions to make an apple account without entering a credit card. Make sure you use a different email address for each apple account.
Set up your iPhone/iPad whatever using the new account for iCloud. Then go into settings/store and sign in with your purchasing account, you may need to sign out of the other account. To the best of my knowledge, your household is allowed to share purchased legally, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Once you each have your own devices set to your own accounts you can set them to backup to that account and it will keep all your contacts seperate.

Why can you not login into the account ? You should be able to if you remember the account's password, if you can't then you can get it reset e.g. by answering your account's security questions : http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't reset it via your security questions then contact Support in your country, they should be able to reset your password (and security questions) for you (after they've verified your id and that it's your account).

Set up FireVault, now can't log into any of my accounts...

I just received my Macbook today from my school, so there were no cds included or anything. I set my FireVault and the computer restarted. I tried logging into my account with the master password and the password I used for the account and I tried all the combinations I could think of just in case I made typos, but nothing I try works. When I try logging back into my account with the password I used in the beginning (before setting up FireVault), the screen goes blue for a few seconds, like it usually does when it logs in, but then it just returns back into the login screen. You don't need to login with the master password. When you get to the log in screen, just log in as you would normally.
