I am not getting the dialogue for any of the photomerge options on elements 13?
I have just downloaded elements 13 as an upgrade because I want to use the photomerge options. I have watched the tutorials and they show a dialogue box on the right to choose brush size etc. That is not coming up on my program and I can only do 'guesswork' to make a merge happen.

According to your post, my understanding is that you could not get the checkout option for a pdf type document when clicking on the document link in the SharePoint workflow task.
I try to reproduce the issue, however, no matter when I click the pdf type document in the library or click on the pdf document link in the workflow task email, it download the pdf doucment and then I can open it.
It will be better if you can descript how you
get the check out option as expected when you click on the pdf document in the library.
Then I upload a
word type document to the library, no matter when I click the word type document in the library or click on the word document link in the workflow task email, I can open the word document directly and get the check out option as expected.
I recommend to use the other type docuemts to check whether the check out option works.

Why am I not getting the "Advance" option when I am in my iCloud account?
There is no 'Advanced' option at icloud.com. Is this a question of changing the default email address? I quote:

Some of us have Adobe Pro X and have the same issues.No the person who can check out using the link in the email has the same permissions as me. We have looked at all kinds of settings, profile etc and nothing evident can be determined to explain the reason. However, one difference we did notice is that this person does not have a default web browser set and thus when clicking on items to open, it always pops up a dialog box asking which program to use to open it with. This person chooses Adobe Reader and it opens on the Sharepoint server as it should and she gets the checkout option in a dialog box just like clicking on the document in the library. My theory is that this step of choosing the program to open with is interrupting the typical way a pdf file is handled when clicking on URL links to the document, which is…. it is opened as temporary internet file rather than on the Sharepoint server. Hopefully someone can figure this out ☺

Why am I not getting the 2 options that it shows in the handbook after selecting email document?
I am not sure why this is occurring. I hit the share button > then email and it brings up the email but doesn't give me the option to "share original document" or "share flattened copy" I am aware that the modified document does not show up in mail but I want to be able to open it with Adobe Reader for Mac and PC. It sends the original version of the PDF, before modifications. Please Help.
You may not be getting the option to flatten because the document is protected or possibly reader-enabled. If you send the document in question to [email protected], I can look into it.
Also note that sending an unflattened document DOES include the modifications. What you are observing is a limitation in Apple's PDF Reader that is used by the iOS Mail app. Apple's PDF Reader doesn't show interactive content, like form field input, even though it is there. For example, if you fill an interactive form, and then email that filled form to your Desktop computer, and open it with Adobe Reader, you will see that your form field input is intact (even though it looked as though it was unfilled in the iOS Mail app).
Flattening is a way to work around limitations in PDF Readers that do not show interactive content.

I deleted the playlists on my iPhone and when I now try to synchronize with my iTunes account to put the music back, nothing happens and I do not get the music back on my iPhone. Anyone who knows why that could be? Grateful for any suggestions!
I know it sounds weird, and that is the reason I posted my question. Because my case is not like all the ones I've found online and it's confusing. I added a screen capture of my itunes with my old iphone (the one that houses my playlists) connected to it.
My playlists "ARE" in my iphone 4s. They are still there even though they do not show up when I plug in to itunes in my computer.
When connecting my phone to itunes on my macbook, the playlists do not appear anywhere in itunes. I have found my connected iphone icon, I have clicked on the arrow next to it and it does pull up the standard lists that come with the iphone/itunes: Music, Movies, TV shows, books. That's it! below that is "Genius" and below "Geniuns" is "PLAYLISTS" but the only playlist of mine that shows there is one that I created several years back titled "90's music" and that one I created it on my computer, not my phone. Under "90's music" there are also other standard playlists that itunes automatically adds.
Does anyone else have this issue or know how to get around this. I am starting to think that I am going to have to recreate these lists on my computer -
I have an ut ipad 2 with no configuration for the i cloud. I have follow the instructions of synch the ipad with itunes v 10.6 in my pc, but i can not get the display of the cloud icon in the general settings of the ipad. appreciate any help

An adaptor doesn't burn out. It merely serves as a means to connect the power prongs on your device to the power supply.
I believe you are thinking of a transformer, which you do not need. A transformer converts one voltage to another.
You don't need to do that as the power supply of modern electronics can take almost any worldwide voltage.
Look at the label on the device. It should indicate the input power acceptable of 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz.
Additionally, I found the adapters cheaper in the UK than I found them in the US. They were available in most supermarket chains. I wasn't in Ireland, so I can't say one way or the other.
If you have something that doesn't have that input power spec, it would require a transformer.
On other items like electric clocks or things with motors, you can connect them up to a transformer and the voltage will be correct, but the frequency may not. For clocks, that will cause them to not keep time well. For motors, they will burn out. -

okay well another question the track pad on my 11 inch mac got stuck and wouldnt work and i took it to the apple store and had a tech look at it and he said it was working and i got home and it still wouldnt work so i took it back again to another tech and he said the guy before didnt fix it right and he said it was broken and that i needed a new track pad and he said he would replace it but they didnt have any trackpads in the store at the time but he fixed it enough that it barely works but he said i needed to come back to get a new trackpad because he fixed it enough that it would only work for a short period of time, so i went back the other day to another tech and told him and he said that since it still works they wouldnt do anything about it. but it barely works and barely clicks down should they fix it since the one tech told me it will only work for a short time and that if i came back they would replace my trackpad ? i have apple care and i am still under the 1 year warranty.

Apple does not have email support. If you're not getting the email verification from Apple, check your anti-spam filters, on your computer and with your email provider, to make sure that emails from Apple aren't being blocked. You can also try the Security Questions option rather than the email authentication. See:

I am getting a error IO when trying to upload multiple images within wordpress using the flash uploader. I do not get the error when uploading using explorer. The error only appears if I try uploading using firefox....any ideas?
Logged the call with SAP who directed me to 'Define settings for attachments' in IMG and setting the 'Deactivate Java Applet' & 'Deactivate Attachment versioning' checkboxes - problem solved.

I have recently upgrades to Mountain Lion and I can not get the calendar utility to come alive. Icon appears in the tast bar but the application does not launch or appear to be any where else. Any suggestion?
Did you look in the Applications folder for Calendar? If it is there, remove the item that is in the Dock and replace it by dragging the Calendar application to the Dock.
If it is not there, did you have iCal located somewhere other than the Applications folder when you upgraded?
