The application keeps timing out and at the Subsetting embedded fonts portion and the application gives "Adobe Acrobat has stopped working" and then closes. The document is 275 pages. Is there something I can do to stop this?

Since when are you facing this issue? Did you tried system restore to a date before this problem occured.
Does acrobat stop working when you open this specific pdf file or with any pdf file that you open?

It just didn't occur to me to do so.
My intent was to report that there was at least one other user encountering a similar problem. It occurred to me that Adobe might be interested in determining the scale of a problem which causes one of their best known products to fail to run quite so completely after a clean install
I also see that I misreported the OS I'm running - its Windows 8.
If there is further information I can provide which might be helpful in determining a solution, if someone could be specific about what would be helpful, then I will try to respond appropriately.

The X230 has Intel HD 4000 graphics support built in to the processor. Windows was pretty stubborn about refusing driver updates, but I just managed to get drivers from the Intel site to install and Photoshop is now running, so hopefully I need not try your patience any further.
In case anyone else has a similar problem and stumbles on this the way to install the driver that worked was to:
- download the zip version of the generic driver from Intel
- use the 'have disk' option in the windows dialog to install the driver - other paths in the UI did not work with windows refusing to install the driver. -
In LR5 i do: Merge to HDR Pro. After I apply my preset and PS attempts to convert HDR file, I get an error message from PS: "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 has stopped working". Then PS Closes.
My source files are 5 NEF files of 28 MB. I select 16-bit, I also tried 8-bit. No difference. Same error message.

Any suggestions?As the crash report says - your outdated video card driver is crashing. You need to update your video card driver from the GPU maker's website (AMD/ATI in this case).

Indesign cs6 has stopped working and needs to close in windows 8
We have Adobe InDesign CS6 installed on 2 different computers and on both computers it frequently crashes saying "cs6 has stopped working" and closes the application. Restarting it ok for a while and then the same thing happens. We have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail, no other Adobe products are installed.

Everytime I send an email the warning box appears--- WebKit2 WebProcess,exe has stopped working. Then I hit close program and it shuts me out of my inbox.
If I don't close the warning box my computer stay s in limbo. What is is? It is not in my control panel and does not come up as a program in my computer.
Help?Taken at face value, you're having trouble with an Apple Application Support program file there. (Apple Application Support is where single copies of program files used by multiple different Apple programs are kept.)
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "Apple Application Support" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "Apple Application Support", click "Change" and then click "Repair". -
I have Photoshop Elements 7.0 and when I go to sort the photos in order (from oldest date) I keep getting the message "Photoshop Elements 7.0 has stopped working" and then the program closes. Elements 11 on macbook pro has stopped working and i can't re-install as its no longer available?

Running on a macbook pro.
Purchased through the apple app store.
Worked fine prior to mavricks update.
I have read where others have had this issue, the general response has been that they have had no support from adobe in resolving the problem. One guy said he managed to get issued a new download of the softwear that works fine with mavricks.
so there is a fix avalible but for some reason its not been a general update for all customers with premier elements 11? -

My guess is, your iPod classic is more than 2 years old and out of warranty, and the hardisk has gone kaput! and need to be replaced.
