I am on itunes on my iphone, i bought a ringtone but i cant figure out how to set it as my default.
I bought a ringtone using my itues store on my iphone, and bought a rigntone. How can I set it as my default. I cannot find the option to get it set up

I created a photo album on my iPhone 4s - edited photos etc. but I cannot figure out how to transfer it to my pc (using Windows 8). The only folder in the iphone drive is the one which has the Camera roll photos Help please - I really need the photos!
The camera roll is not part of the sync process at all.
You should be importing these photos to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera. Youc an organize them on your computer and sync the to the iphone if you wish.
The photos sync from the computer to the iphone is one way.
The iphone mirrors the selected content of the computer to which it is synced. -
i saved my itunes library from my old lap top to an external hard drive but i cannot figure out how to import it onto my new laptop
i have an itunes folder on the external hard drive and there is a folder with the name of every artist. i copied the itunes folder and pasted it in my current folder

Well, you do have a little bit of an issue - to activate the phone you need a carrier and a number for it to work as a phone else it is an iPod
Ergo - you have to transfer the number of your child's phone to the new phone
With AT&T you should be able to just get the SIM card out - cut it to the size of Nano SIM and pop it into the new phone and the connection will work
Now of course if your child has pictures, music and contacts - they will need to be transferred over.

I made my own Apple ID because when I was logged into my dad's my family was receiving my texts from other people. I want to add my device to my dad's "find my iphone" app but without signing into his Apple ID on my phone because that was causing them to get my texts. I was told by Apple I could add my device to his by signing into icloud.com but there is no option that I can find to add my device. And I don't want to log back in to his.. Any ideas???
Also when I apply the safety copy it only imports the app the phones have had in common, so none of the apps that only the iPhone 4 had doesn't come in, only the ones I and the iPhone 4 has had in common. So you say the only way I can use the Apple ID to download on the old iPhone 4 is if I delete the apps that are in the phone and then download them again? How will that change the ID to download/update from. Won't it still have mine to update/download from?

I just purchased a new iMac. My iTunes account is missing a ton of music and only contains "purchased" music. When I try to load music from my ipod to match my imac it only asks if i'd like to sinc my ipod with my account. How do I access my entire library? Thanks
Unless you subscribe to Match, you will have to transfer your non-iTunes stuff from your old computer:

If you want to copy non-iTunes music off of your iPod (eg, if your old computer doesn't exist), you'll need to use a third party program. I don't know of any free ones anymore, but if you google, you can find several in the $19 range. -

I just downloaded the latest itunes and i cant figure out how to update my iphone apps on my computer now. I go to the toolbar on the top and press search for updates and it tells me that the latest version of itunes is already downloaded or that there are no updates available at this time. Previously, i would be able to go to the apps page on itunes and then press search for updates and then download all. Then I would sync with my phone and both phone and computer would be updated. Now I can only update on the phone and I know Im going to encounter where it tells me the info for downloading is too large to do it on your phone, hence my first question.....where do I go to update my apps on my computer????
While you're in itunes, with the leftside window open, click on Apps. Then, look across the top middle of your itunes screen. You will see several choices: All, Iphone/iPad Touch, Ipad, Ipod Games, List, and Updates.
Clicking on each of these gives you a different view.
When you select ALL you will see all of your apps. When you select Updates you sill see only the apps that need to be updated. When you are in Updates you will see the Update button in the lower right corner.

Still Here is what it takes you to get what you want .
Firstly , your iPhone by default comes with preset of 16-18 Apps in your Homescreen (including Dock)
Make sure your apps are installed either directly from the app store in your phone or through iTunes in your Mac or PC
once they are installed you can notice them by swiping the homescreens.
Long press the app icon , you can notice they all would be in "jiggle" mode
Drag them and place them in your home screen
