I followed the FAQ troubleshooting and that didn't help
Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

After installing Firefox 3.6.16, I received an Adobe Reader update alert that there was an update available. I downloaded the update and then began the installation. During the installation, I received the following alert: "Error 1336. There was an error creating a temporary file that is needed to complete this installation. I cannot open any pdf files that are saved to my computer. Keep getting error 507:507
Every time I try to open a pdf file from a website or through an email it will not let me opne the file. I can open files that are saved to my computer but that doesn't do me much good in some scenarios. I run IE 10 on Windows 7 Home with Adobe Reader XI 11.0.04. I have tried unsinstalling and reinstalling. It works fine for a few days then the errors start again. HELP!

First, thanks for responding. These are mostly emails with attachments or documents that I have. I download them and once I open them the page is blank. I also cannot look at them in Preview. The same problem. I called Apple and they said they assume I have an older software version. They are going to send new software. I am not really sure this will solve my problem. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks! -

I downloaded Redear to see if it could open an old .pdf file. Now I cannot open any .pdf files.
What is wrong with Reader? Having loaded it I now cannot open any .pdf file in my computer or on email.

There are Creative suites with several Adobe applications for everything from photo and graphic editing, to video editing, to making e-readers, to web design, but those are for developers of the individual media. -

I can only listen to music in iTunes when i'm connected to the internet. Everything seems to have uploaded onto iCloud - something I didn't sign up for. Happened with the latest iTunes update.
All of the music is still on my computer, but when I play it through iTunes, it either buffers first (when I'm connected to the internet) or it is greyed out (offline) and I can't listen to it.
This is beyond annoying. Is there anything I can do to sort this out?

I DL ver 9,10,11 of Free Adobe Reader - cannot open any PDF file.
I get an error message "The instructions at xxxx referenced memory at xxxx. The memory could not be written." What is wrong?
tI did as you instructed and got no good results. I even restored my Adobe files from several weeks ago from Carbonite and could not load Adobe REader nor open any PDF file that I was previously able to open.
When I try to open a PDF file, I get a web page that has two panes. One pane on the left has a red box area with some options. The pane on the right is grey and has some options. The web page disappears after about 5 seconds so I can't read it all.
I tried opening three files after reinstalling Adobe Reader and after restoring my Adobe files. One folder that I restored as "Cache" and had a file inside called "AcrobatFnt11 then another file called AdobeCMapFnt11 and the other file called AdobeSysFnt11.
I'm extremely anxious to be able to open and load all my PDF files like I was able to for years before.

I cannot open any pdf files on my mac book air. I used to be able to open them. It was suggested that I get OS Mountain Lion and I did. still can't. Any ideas?
You can download Adobe Reader from adobe.com. The Mac OSX uses its "reader" to open PDF files without the Adobe Reader. If you downloader adobe reader, it should open all PDF files. Hope this helps.

I downloaded and installed Airport Express Utility 5.6 to get my old Airport Express to work with the latest Mac OSX 10.7.4, but when I install and run it, it still says my Airport Express is out-of-date and needs the 5.6 utility. What's up?
It is likely that you downloaded AirPort Utility 5.6.1. If you checked the requirements, this only runs on Leopard or Snow Leopard Macs.
You have Lion, so you need AirPort Utility 5.6 for Mac OS X Lion -
