Always remember to 'de-authorize' you computer when selling or sending for service. If sending for repairs you might not get the same mother board or HD back and some how this counts as an authorized computer against your count.

About the only thing you can try is using the Online Internet Recovery system to reinstall Lion on your Mac over the top of the current install. that will reset all system files and should not touch your personal files or the apps you have installed.
Or iof you have a recent Time Machine backup use that to restore your Mac to that point in time. -

It would freeze and i would try and do the whole thing where you hold down menu and select and that worked for awhile, but then suddenly last weekend it froze and it started making a weird clicking sound too. i got ****** and just left it at home for the weekend. when i got back home the battery was dead of course and i just plugged it into the charger and it turned on again. im guessing that sometimes you just have to leave it alone. when it made that clicking noise, it wouldnt do anything. you just have to let the battery die and then recharge it.

You have got a Late 2013 MacBook Pro.
This MacBook uses a special OS X Mavericks version which is newer than the one available in the Mac App Store, so you cannot download OS X Mavericks from the Mac App Store now. Instead, if you need to reinstall OS X, you will have to do this through Recovery (hold Command and R keys while your computer is starting up).
You will be able to download OS X Mavericks from the Mac App Store when your Mac uses the same OS X version as all other Macs. This may happen when Apple launches OS X 10.9.2 -
I am setting up a new iTunes account and do not have a credit card. When I am setting the new account up it does NOT give me an option of "none" in lieu of an actual credit card. What do I do?

e.g. if currently logged into an account then log of it, then find a free app in the store, click on its free 'price', and you should then be able to create a new account during the 'buying' process and get 'none' as an option on the payments screen -
I just purchased harry potter and the deathly hallows digital copy but i just synced my ipod and its not there. i went back to get the copy again and its says the code can only be used once. Teh option to deauthorize all authorized computers at once can only be done once a year. But if you have access to those 5 computers, you can dauthorie them one by one.

I am trying to log into my itunes and I put my apple id and password in and it wants me to answer the security questions and I know one of the answers but not the other. and it does not give me an option to reset the questions or have them emailed to me. Any suggestions?
Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions; nobody on these boards can.

When I try to update an App I am getting my old email address (which no longer works) and when I put in its password it says password or username is wrong. but it does not give me an option to put in my new user name. How can I correct this.
What you are getting is the AppleID (AppleID can be an email adress) used at the time of the purchase of this app. It is an identifiant allowing Apple to link your purchase to your account.
If you want to manage associated email, you can go at https://appleid.apple.com but the AppleID could never be modified.
I do not know if in your case, it is just that you no longer use your old email address or that you actually a 2 AppleID. In any case, you will have to remember the password related to the account used for your purchase. If you don't, just use the link above to try to retreive your password. -
I keep getting this error message: ITunes was unable to load data class information from Synch Services. Reconnect or try again later. What does that mean? Can I fix it? or do I have to wait for the next update?

MarynaJudging by the reviews of the current version of the Kindle app you aren't the only one haveing problems with it - it looks like Amazon need to fix something with the app.
Have you tried closing the Kindle app via the iPad's multitasking bar and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? Double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the Kindle app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
You could also try deleting the app and redownloading it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on it (you will then need to redownload your books in the app, assuming that it opens). -

I cannot Authorise my New Macbook Air.
Hi there,
I recently purchased a new macbook air. According to itunes I already have 5 other computers authorised even though I only own two computers. It will not allow me to deauthorise the new macbook until May 5th, beause apparently I deauthorised some computers a year ago on that date. I believe that other computers maybe a computer I sold a few months ago and those of two family members who live in Canada. I am currently in Hong Kong and do not have access to these. My family is very untechnical and are unable to do this for me.
Is there any work-around for this?
Is there some kind of Tech-suport help line that can hlp me with this problem.
This is very frustrating for me because I cannot take advange of Itunes match in my new computer that I have paid for.
This type of problem, really makes me not want to support Apple or purchase any more of thier products or services.
