I am trying to burn a disk with disk utility. It says when I try, "Burn to Super Drive". What does this mean?
I don't want to burn to the wrong location and mess up my computer.
That is the name of your DVD Player/Burner. It is the SuperDrive.

When trying to restore the iPhone 4, I get a message that says "The requester resource was not found." What does this mean?
Hi timtim89,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
You may need to restore your iPhone after placing it in recovery mode. See this article for the steps:

when using iCloud between mac and pad, what does this mean - "your iPad will no longer back up to your computer automatically when you sync with iTunes"
DONT WORRY EVERYONE, FOUND THE ANSWER I NEEDED FROM ANOTHER POSTING - THANK YOUWelcome to the Apple Community.
You don't need to do anything, you have chosen to back up to iCloud instead of iTunes.
Being able to back up to the cloud can be very useful, especially if you don't have access to a computer or have infrequent access to one, however unless you specifically need to use iCloud for back up, you will find backing up to iTunes significantly more convenient and possibly more reliable.

Trying to upgrad to Mountail Lion and got an error message : 403 Forbidden. What does this mean? What can I do? I had no problem when I upgraded to Lion.
403 Forbidden HTTP status code in response to a request from a client for a web page or resource to indicate that the server refuses to allow the requested action. In other words, the server can be reached, but the server declined to allow the requested access.

I have plenty of space remaining for this to be downloaded to the hardrive.
Have you checked to see what the Partition Map is? It sounds like, and this is a stab in the dark, that you might not be set on a GUID format.
To check, go into Disk Utility and highlight the drive you want to use. in the bottom of the Disk Util box, you will see the details of the disk itself. Check to see if it is GUID, listed under Partition Map Scheme.
If it is then you have a different issue and one that I am unable to answer. If it isn't then you will need to back any data up from the drive you want to use and reformat the disk to GUID. This should then correct the install issue you are experiencing. Reformatting is relatively easy, just following the prompts in the Partition Tab, in Disk Util.
However, to reiterate, back up any data ypou wish to keep prior to this! Reformatting will wipe the disk completely. -
When trying to load my recently puchased Apps this is the message that appears---Please adavise. Thank you. Richard (New Boy on the Block)
The IP address shown is 192.168.0.1:80. This is an address on your local network and is probably the address of your router. The port number shown is port 80 which is the standard HTTP (web server) port. It looks like your router thinks that you are attempting to open an administrative browser session with it. Since this is incorrect your router or possibly your iPad may be having some problem. Try restarting your router by removing power to it for 30 seconds and restarting. I would also suggest resetting your iPad.
Reset iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears - ignore the power off slider. -

I have been trying to load an audible book file into itunes. I did this the last time successfully but this time I get this message either I007 or 1007.Basically I get a asked for the audible pw. I do thid. Then I get itunes not installed correctly I uninstalled and reinstalled ( I did uninstall all the apple files). Now I get the 1007 error code. Anybody?
I downloaded Blue Fire Reader and it requested an adobe id. I clicked on the link that was in the error message stated http//adeactivateadobe.com. Found out that if the date and time on my Ipad is wrong that it won't let me download a book. I was off 5 hours. I reset my clock settings and adobe id let me download a book from the library. I am back to using Overdrive and adobe again on my ipad.
Thank you. -
Trying to update my iTunes but keep getting the error message "the URL could not be opened" what does this mean and how do I resolve this? It's always worked fine in the past!
Select a broken track and press ctrl-i to Get Info. Look on the summary tab for the location where iTunes "thinks" the file should be. Where is it really? Post back the two locations and I can suggest the best approach.

I'm trying to empty my Trash on my desk top but a window pops up saying "The operation can't be completed because the item "UpgradeDockTail" is in use.
It then has stop or continue to choose from but nothing happens when I click on either one. What does this mean and how do I stop it?Log out, log back in, and try again. If that doesn't work, reboot.

While trying to burn a CD of a playlist, the disc was ejected with the message "medium write error" . What does this mean and how do I fix it?
I had been getting this all morning and checked other messages from the community. THe one which worked was trying a different brand of disc.
I had been using Verbatim which had copied the music fine off the Real Player on my PC at school, but wouldn't work with I Tunes. Tried a Staples and an Office Depot CD-R , both of which did the job. -
Trying to burn data on a CD-R disk, but then I get a window that says, "Burning failed" , and that one of the volumes on the disc is still in use", so what does this mean? Not sure what they mean by volume still in use, this apparentely is keeping me from burning info such a pictures and or video's, how can I fix this?

You have a disc inside your optical drive.

Remove the extra disc.
My answers are basic because:
You never told us which model iMac you have?
How you are burning? Through iMac? External burner?
Which OS you are currently using? -
On an older Mac I got this message while trying to burn a CD for the car: "The attempt to burn a disc failed. The burn failed because of a medium write error." What does this mean? And how do I work around it?

When trying to do a system backup to my remote LaCie hard drive, what does it mean when I get a message that says "waiting for volume LaCie disk"? While this message apears no back-up occurs. Is there a setting I need to change?
You can't do a backup of icloud to an external drive. In fact, does your post have anything to do with icloud (you're in the icloud forum)?
What kind of "system backup" are you doing? Are you using Time Machine?
