I am trying to download latest itunes update and after clicking download it changes screen and its says 'thankyou for downloading' but nothing has occured?
My PC says itunes cannot use my phone or ipad as they have latest ios7 and i need to update itunes to latest edition.
When I go into Itunes and download the latest it says "thankyou for downloading" but nothing has changed?
Any Ideas or help appreciated....

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -

No, you cannot run iTunes on an Android device, it runs on Windows or a Mac only.

Well, first you should [Restore|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414] your iPod Touch, if the problem persist, try uninstalling iTunes and installing it back. If however you can't solve the problem, try going back to the previous version of iTunes [8.0.2|http://itunes.en.softonic.com/download-version/itunes-8.0.2].

All my bookmarks suddenly disapered, tried recovering them as per the instructions on the help page, but no matter what date i try it fails saying no backup! Now firefox says bookmark added when i try to add them but nothing appears in the bookmarks drop down mene, so i cant even add my old bookmarks manually, driving me mad please help.
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I tried to download upgrade to itunes last night 1/28/2014 and I receive an error message. I then tried to use itunes and it would not work. The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

It's really funnt...but I see that it is really happening to many. Has anyone found a solution for this?
Finally, I did wget <url> from my bash shell (on my linux machine) and could download iTunes 11 64-bit for windows 7. Here is the exact command (should be useful as getting the URL is sometimes tricky)
wget http://secure-appldnld.apple.com/iTunes11/031-1547.20131105.FFjvT/iTunes64Setup.exe
I would expect this to work as is even from windows/MAC provided you have 'wget' command on it.
