I am getting very frustrated with this. When I try to install the Creative Cloud thing it asks me to pay even though it says try for free.

Please try the following steps assuming its a MAC:
1) Open Activity monitor and Force quit Adobe CEF Helper, Creative cloud, Adobe IPC Broker & Crash Deamon if available.
2) Try to open, if doesn't work then go to Applications>> Adobe Creative cloud>> Right click>> Get Info>> Click on the Add sign>> Select the user you are logged in>> Give Read and write access.
3) If that doesn't work then enable the root user and launch to update there, check this link on how to enable/sign in to root user Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X
Please let me know of that worked.

A "clicking noise" is often a sign that a hard drive is malfunctioning. Suggest that you power down the device and take it to an Apple store to have them take a look, or contact Customer Service at Apple for instructions.

This happens when I click on most menu links. For example, if I click on Help and select "About Firefox" the entire browser window jumps. The same goes for if I click on the default search box or on the Google Toolbar search box.
If I click on something out of Firefox, such as my desktop or an open program, it jumps when I click the Firefox tab on my task bar to return to Firefox.
When I click a shortcut link, such as in bookmarks, it does not do it.For those of you who have tried to clear this problem up with virus scans, various malware scanning programs, tdss rootkiller, etc....I have another possibility. I found another thread on this very forum where someone suggested the problem was in the router...specifically, there were manually entered DNS addresses in the router setup. I logged into my router (192.168.1.1) and sure enough, there were DNS addresses loaded and it was setup to use those DNS addresses. I simply clicked on the option to pull the DNS addresses automatically from my ISP, changed the password, and the problem was gone.

I successfully deleted a user from my MacBook through the Users and Groups window in System Preferences. But now I cannot close the lock in the bottom left corner of the box. When I click on it, I briefly see a word that I think says "reauthorizing" but the word flashes too quickly to tell for sure.

I hav e a Mac Book Pro it turns on and I can see the apple symbol on the screen and their is a little circle on the bottom that keeps going in circles but nothing else is happening I can't see any programs or anything on the screen. When I try to post a comment the page greys out. Clicking again restores the page, but the comment is unposted. Repeated clicking "Post comment" just repeats the greying out and restoring. I'm using 14.0.1 on win7 (64).
Is this on one particular site? When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"
2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here (if you usually stay logged in to the site, this probably will log you out)
While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page.
If that doesn't help, perhaps something in Firefox 14 or one of your add-ons is not compatible with the site. Do you want to post the URL? -

Hello, I had an Adobe Muse membership and I have changed it to a full Adobe Creative cloud membership. The problem is when I login in to business catalyst and try to push live a second site, it tells me as follows: Your Adobe Creative Cloud Membership has reached its limit for hosted sites.
I think business catalyst has not recognize jet that I have change my Adobe Creative Cloud Membership and does not allow me access to the 5 sites that are supposed to come with my adobe creative cloud.
Please help me refresh my status on business catalyst so I can publish my 5 sites.

I recently downloaded the newer version of FF and now when i click to open it i am getting an error in the top left corner of my screen. i can't even read what the message says in entirety b/c it's wrapping over off the side of the screen. When I click the error message than FF will open. Also, when I'm trying to send emails from an online shopping cart thru my business and I'm getting an error that it won't send and that's never happened until this problem w/FF. Please tell me what i should to to get FF working normally again.Can you tell us what text is in the part that you can read ?
Is it a message from Firefox or from the Mac Operating System ?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

You can try this:
Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud.
For Windows:
Open the Windows Control Panel > Programs And Features.
For MAC:
Open Finder and go to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.
After Uninstall navigate to the OOBE folder.
Windows: C Drive\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
Delete OOBE folder.
Download Creative Cloud Reinstall and Sign in .
