The new Itunes software update is flawed! I had the same issue. You need to uninstall Apple components, then reinstall. Go to this link for instructions. Takes about 20 mins but works!

I'm trying to add my new domain name and I'm getting error message that says: 'Cannot add domain because this domain already exists. Please delete the domain and I already deleted it along with all the 'A Records', 'CNAME Records (Alias)', MX Records', and 'Advanced DNS Records'. I have a ton of new fans coming to the site tonight. Help!!!Did you ever setup another trial BC site before and attach that domain name? I'm pretty sure that if the domain name is attached to BC's nameservers already even if it's under another account then it won't work. Not 100% sure about it but it's a likely culprit. Try to type the subdomain you are adding into a browser and add "/admin" and see if you can login to BC-- if it's an old site you had setup then you should remove the subdomain from that account first and then try to add it to your newer BC site.

I have been trying to install the new iTunes, and i get an error that a program could not be run.
I have an old version of iTunes and require the new version to connect my IPod. A program can not be run and the installation stops. I have no idea what program or what is required to run it. Please Help.
That would be my first guess. You might be trying to install the 32 bit version of the program.
Update the thread with more info on your apple software etc if its a 64 bit install you're trying to perform. -
What does "the Apple Mobile Device service is not started" mean? I updated iTunes and I got this message when connecting my iPod Touch (2nd gen).

The message received is:
The file does not have a program associated with it or is already installed. If one is alredy installed create an association in the default programs control panel.
The member is difxinst64.exe and it's a third party (Gear Data) module. It was in the correct library that the message was pointing to so I went to the default programs as the message stated. Unter that there is an option to have an extension associated with a program (ie: doc - Word) but not an exe as all programs are executed. I then checked the default program and it basically allows a program to take multiple extensions. Like Notebook uses DOC, TXT, and RTF.
This would be a whole lot easier if I could cut and paste to show the actual message.
Anyway, I have been using iTunes for about 2 years on this computer and never had a problem until this new release. Does anyone have any suggestions? As I said on my profile I have Windows 7 64 bit system.The error message I get is that iTunes is trying to incorrectly open Visual C services.
Is there somebody at Apple who actually read these things or are we on our own without any iTunes? -

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.

I have a black Apple TV that has recently stopped working. It loads the Apple Logo on screen then goes off and starts again. It's as if it is stuck in a loop. I've tried a re-boot and this has failed. I have tried a restore using a USB cable on 5 different computers, including a Mac Book Pro and it downloads the update file but when it tries to restore I get the error code 9 showing on screen. I just can't get it to do anything.

I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?! -
