If you backed up the iPhone to either iTunes or the iCloud, restore the backup. If not, the data is gone.

For general library squiffiness following an upgrade the easiest thing is to restore your last backup, but I guess if it were that simple you wouldn't be here.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps youshouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

I just bought a 3rd generation ipod touch. It was professionally refurbished. I'm trying to set it up, and everything seems to be working fine, until we get to the wifi. I live on campus and our wifi is username and password protected. I signed in and everything seemed to work fine, and in the top left hand corner I have all the bars for wifi. However, when I go to sign in with an apple ID it says 'Could no sign in: there was a problem connecting to the server'. I've tried turning it on and off again, tried signing on to our wifi again, but it all isn't working. What can I do?
I also encountered the same problem. Try using a different email address or try signing in later.

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

How do I undo whatever went wrong after installing the latest update to Photoshop 2014 and suddenly when I tried to paint or touch up my illustration (book cover I'd drawn and painted, then scanned in and continued painting, changing. It's mostly done but I needed to send it like yesterday!!) OR touch up a photograph, black-like oily smudge-like substance sprayed around the point of the brush. I tried to fix by resetting but really didn't know what to do and probably made it worse. However, the problem happened after I updated the Photoshop Creative Cloud 2014 on my desktop 8.1 Windows and after a Tech helped update the regular CC Photoshop on my laptop 2007, 64 bit Windows to 2014. He promised to call back after giving it time to install but didn't for whatever reason on Friday. That happened to go up to the same update I did on my Windows 8.1 Windows. I have this deadline and really stressed. COULD IT BE THE UPDATE OR BOTH. REGARDLESS, CAN SOME EXPERT HELP ME UNDO WHATEVER THE UPDATE AND/OR I DID? I'm a God-gifted artist but only started using Photoshop CC, then updated to 2014--which, again, I like even better--when I began my monthly membership January or February 2014, although I had paid version 2002 and updated to paid version 2004 (ownership, not paid subscription like now). I've learned so much, including transforming, moving, stretching, with layers--all in the painting area with my illustrations--a little touch ups with photography. I have read bits and hints on different postings on this site and this is the best I could do for the scenario shown below:
I need to add the Chars: Char1, Char2, Char3 to CubeX
so that I can display the data for these 3 Chars in a report.
Char1 and Char2 are filled in ODS12 and Char3 is filled in Cube3.
Can you help me write a routine so that while loading data to CubeX, it will read Char1, Char2, Char3 from ODS12 and Cube3; and make them available in CubeX?

I have a brand new ipod touch 32gb ipod touch. Upgraded to ios 7. open music app but there is no radio tab to select!!! All online help just says, "just select it".
I have looked at the "More" part but again radio is not an option.

Version 5.0 on a MAC will not let me switch between tabs. I can open a new tab, but when I try to go to a different tab, it just shows me the contents of the tab most recently opened. Help!
Also, pop up blocker works for some time and then just stops working. I have to close and restart Firefox to get it to work again. Help!I had the same problem, but with Firefox 4.0. My first thought was to update Firefox (after of course restarting FF), but that didn't help it and I had the same problem.
Among others, I had an extension installed and enabled called Tile Tabs 4.10 that I thought could feasibly creating this problem. So I went into my add-ons manager and disabled it, restarted Firefox and the tabs worked properly again. Unfortunately, the Tile Tabs extension is my favorite Firefox add-on and I use it almost every day for managing my web work tasks. I went to the add-on page for Tile Tabs and saw that there was a notice that version 4.10 didn't work properly on Mac OS, and to install version 4.9 of the extension. I saw they had a new, not-yet-reviewed version 4.11 that addressed the Mac OS problem, installed it, and everything seems to be working properly.
I have no idea why all of a sudden I had this problem, as I hadn't updated Firefox or the Tile Tabs extension recently. Also, obviously this might not address your problem, especially if you don't have that add-on installed and enabled. But our problem started at the same time for both of us it appears based on your post time, so its probably not coincidence.
But its worth a look, and you might want to check out other extensions if you don't have Tile Tabs that could be causing the problem. -
firefox auto updated to "5.0", then when opening firefox, got "unresponsive script"(which had to be closed to start firefox, and then the same opening w/each new window...(In doing this I then lost all previous tabs).

Thanks so much for the reply. Amy way you could elaborate on the "known issue" aspect? Is there another thread I missed? Some sort of Knowledge base article? also, I'm not sure why you linked to the page you did. FF is installed on all my machines and I can of course download the latest version every couple of weeks and push it to all my lab iMacs using ARD, so I'm confused as to why you linnked me to FF's installer page - is there something I can do with the installer that will alow auto-updates that I'm missing/not aware of?
Again, thanks for the heads-up and any further elaboration on either further info on the issue or how I might use the installer to auto-update all my machines will be appreciated. -
When I open up iphoto and click on the events tab then double click on an event, it used to show minis of all the photos in that event. Now it shows only one photo at a time. How do I get it back? Can you help?
On the bottom bar of the window (on the left iPhoto 11, on the right in other versions) note the slider. Drag it left.

How do I stop an app from waiting? I have tried to reboot by holding the home key and power button to power down. The app is still grayed out and waiting so it cannot be deleted. Also, I have tried to sync the apps from my laptop and tried downloading new appswith no success. Can you help? Thanks
If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

Another thing to try - Turn the iPad Off & then back ON.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.
