I am trying to use powerpoint but when I open a document I want to work on it does not open on my desktop. It appears as open on mission control but it disappears offscreen. How can I get it to open where i need it and can work on it?

I have desktop running Vista and Windows Mail and iPhone 4S. I receive email fine on the iPhone but when I read or reply or delete email on iPhone it does not "register" on the desktop that I have done so.

If this is a POP email account that is normal as they don't sync but merely allow devices to retrieve messages from the server. You have to use an IMAP or exchange account to have changes on one device reflected on the other.

Depending on what iPhone you have when you get to the connect to wifi you should be able to activate your device over cellular data. Try doing a hard reset by holding the home circle button an power button until an apple pops up and the go through the setup again and when you get to the wifi part a option should be setup with cellular data iPhone 4 and above should give this option sometimes doesn't like showing up that's why u have to do a hard reset first

All Products and Services > iTunes > iTunes Store > Account Management > iTunes Store account security
Answer the questions and if required sign in with your Apple ID and password - same one you used to log in on this support forum.
You will find an option to send an email to Apple on that page. Indicate that you forgot the answers to your security questions and wait for iTunes support to reply.

Try holding down the Shift key in Windows when opening iTunes. In the resulting dialogue you will get the option to create a new library or navigate to an existing one. The default location for your iTunes library is in C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\ (or C:\Username\Music\iTunes\ in Vista). Plus it would be up to Adobe to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices, something which they have never managed to do and which they have now given up on trying to do.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter and Puffin 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, so your could try checking there for your sites (and there is the built-in YouTube app).

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

It might have something to do with Proxies. Have a look in System Preferences>Network, click on your network - either ethernet or wifi - and click on the Proxies tab. Anything selected in there. If so deselect and then try.
Have you tried using another brrowser, maybe Chrome or Firefox?

I uploaded a document from my PC to one of my iPads using the Cloud and Pages. It appeared on both my iPads as it should have. But when I deleted that document from one of my iPads, it did not delete from the other iPad. Anyone know why?

I have no other info to add other than it is my understanding that if both my iPads are connected through the Cloud, if I delete a document from one of them, it should automatically be deleted off the other one. Thanks

Use the Office for Mac and ignore using Parallels for that. If you have PC only apps you have to run that are MS Windows only then consider Parallels. Just transfer your main PC, using Migration Assistant. If you don't know how then simply read over Pondini's article called Lion or Mountain Lion Setup Assistant tips and look for the section on migrating from a PC. Millions have done what you are about to, it's far from leading edge these days, if you go to an Apple Store to purchase they will offer this as a service, something you might be interested in.

If you no longer have access to your iPhone, you will need to contact Apple for help deactivating your phone number from their iMessage system so those with iPhones will send normal text messages to your phone number instead of iMessages.

I down load latest fire fox but when run tells me I dont have the latest & fox button does not go to sync setting.

I have downloaded the latest addition of fire fox changing the language to UK English. When I run the down lode under the Google box the system says that I am not running the latest version.
I also have a Samson Tablet & having down loaded Firefox it asks me to sync with my computer. Thus I accessed the computer how to sync & clicked on the Firefox button at the top left of the screen (This only shows Restore Minimize Close) No path to sync data.

hello WallyWalsh, if this warning is showing up you might have to reset the homepage to the version that is used in firefox 4 & above (the old homepage will show the warning you have referenced). to change it go to firefox > tools > options > general & reset the homepage to the default (that's '''about:home''').

I create an enterprise project template in Project Professional but when I go to create a project in PWA the formattting does not carry through to the project

I created an enterprise template in Project Professional and formatted it and set the font to Gill Sans MT, I then pointed the Project type to this project template.
When I created the new project type in PWA the formatting and font did not carry through to the new project.
Has anyone seen this behaviour before?

Do you find that if you create a project in project professional using a template and then save it the formatting is shown OK? So you only see this problem when you are creating the project from PWA and the plan template is picked up via the Enterprise Project
Type?
