I am unable to click and load photos on Facebook. It recently happened about 2 days ago.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.image pref should be 1.
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

Sounds like a corrupted library - how did you recover from the problem? Have you rebuilt the library? using iPhoto? using iPhoto Library Manager?

I have just mistakenly blocked my photos on facebook.com using Mozilla.I write clicked one of my photos and the was a portion that says blocked photos.I clicked that and tried to undo but could not work and now i cant see my profile picture and other pictures on facebook.

With Facebook on display, click on the site identity button (for details on what that is see the [[site identity button]] article) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.
This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see [[Images or animations do not show]].
Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images.

OK--Think I finally discovered the issue. I'm using a trackball and keyboard setup from Euphonix that communicates with the Mac via Ethernet and TCP/IP. Aperture cannot deal with mouse strokes transmitted this way. If I switch to a USB mouse connected directly to the Mac, the brushes work normally. Still a disappointment since the Euphonix is my default keyboard/mouse and I don't really want to keep a separate USB mouse hooked up.....

Select the photo(s) in iPhoto and export to a desktop folder (file menu ==> export) - see this user tip for export options - then be sure the card is not locked and in the finder verify available space and if it is adaquate drag that folder to it

Open Media Encoder and add your Sequences:
File > Add Premiere Pro Sequence
Navigate to your Premiere Project and select it in the list.
You can then select multiple Sequences from the Project (Ctrl+Click)
and load them all at once into Media Encoder and apply
the same encoding preset to all Sequences at the same time.

Mozilla Firefox has been an exceptional browser, however in the last update I have experienced problems when trying to open https sites. They will not open and then time out. I do not have this problem when using Internet explorer. I have contacted customer service at the problem sites, and they have said other customers have also experienced this problem. I have gone into options and have changed various settings to see if this would solve the problem. It didn't, your response would be appreciated.. After iOS 8 update can't upload photos to Facebook using the FB app, it says no connection

SInce iOS 8.1 update which was hours ago im not able to upload photos to Facebook using its app, I can straight from the photo album but that's not how I'm used to neither how I like it, I get a "no internet connection" error, it's happening either ways on 3G or Wifi

I click on a photo in events and keeping the mouse button depressed I drag the photo to the folder of the left, but a new folder opens with the photo. Folders don't hold photos in iPhoto. Photos go in Events or Album.
Folders can contain other folders or Albums.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar or the Babylon extension that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.

Is there anyway to keep people from right clicking on a photo on your site and then dropping and dragging it from your website to their desktop.?

This is not a foolproof method of preventing image "theft" though. In fact there is no way to prevent this...only ways to make it marginally more cumbersome for the less technically adept users. Anything that can be viewed in a browser window can be saved. Think of how easily a simple screenshot would work...try it: type Apple-Shift-4 and then draw a box around your image.
The thing about displaying images on a web page is that you just have to establish your own low resolution cutoff for your images. Obviously the original full-resolution image is the one you want to protect...because it can be used for enlargements and other purposes. But if you decrease the quality with JPG compression or watermarking and make your images lower resolution, you can limit the usefulness of the displayed images without degrading the image visually (at least not significantly) on the page.

Unable to click and drag clips

Hi, first time poster, also new to MacBook.
I started using iMovie and all was well. However recently I am not able to click and drag clips into the project window...very odd... everything else appears to work...I can copy and paste which has other issues which can be avoided by dragging..
Any help would be appreciated.

Drag 'n drop of clips can sometimes have a problem with timing delays in deactivating the Event window and activating the Project window for receipt of the dropped content. Try using the "Add Selection" or delay dropping the content until the Project window is fully activated. If this doesn't work, then you may have an installation, plist, or similar problem.
