I am unable to delete music from my iPhone5 either directly or via PC.  On the iPhone the tracks disappear but the phone remains full and the data is still visible on the PC.  I am unable to manipulate the data in any way on the PC.

I am unable to delete music from my iPhone5 either directly or via PC.  On the iPhone the tracks disappear when swiping left and deleting but the phone remains full and the data is still visible on the PC. The music was installed on the phone from the backup of a previous model but with the addition of new tracks I am now unable to add more or update to the next operating system as the phone is full.  On my PC the music is still there and but the neither the delete function or any form of sorting/management on the music files is functional. Other Apple products work OK including previous phone, ipad.ipods etc Any advice/help available to get past this would be appreciated.

I think it is 7.1.1 - there was another update today which I've uploaded but it didn't make any difference. It's just the music libary on the 5 that's causing me problems.

    My guess is that they recently changed how the videos work. I logged in on my MacBook and the stream worked fine, but it is Flash content in a JW Player video player. From what I see on the website. This video player works with html5 as well as Flash so I'm not sure why it isn't working, unless the site has not updated the content for html5 and is only using Flash right now. But you should get the message on the iPad that the content is in Flash and can't be viewed on the iPad.
    I tried it with three different browsers identifying as mobile and as desktop browsers and I get the same results as you no matter what I do. So my assumption is that the site content was recently changed and it has to be updated. But that is just a guess.
    The message about the website having issues when I used iCab Mobile and identified as a desktop browser. The issue has to be on their end.

    Assuming you are not manually managing your music, verify the following:
    You are using the latest version of iTunes
    On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings you have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos"
    In your music library you have checked all the songs you want to sync to your phone
    There are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your phone
    You have authorized your computer for all Apple IDs for purchased music you want to sync to your phone (in Store>Authorize this computer)
    You have checked "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings
    When everything looks correct, sync your phone.

    You need to continue with the Recovery...
    Once the Device is in Recovery Mode... it is too late to save anything...
    To minimise loss... After the successful Recovery... Restore from the most recent Backup...

    I hate the new iTunes, I can't find anything and can't delete music from my iPhone4S.     In iTunes go to View>Show Sidebar.  This will make it look and behave more like previous versions.  Then connect your phone, click on it's name on the left side, go to the Music tab and make sure you haven't selected Sync your entire library.  You may want to check the songs in your library that you want on your phone, then go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and select Sync only checked songs and videos, then click Apply at the bottom to sync your phone.  This should transfer only the checked songs and remove the rest.

Additionally, when I reconnect my iPhone, the music I "deleted" from it when it was previously connected to iTunes no longer appears, preventing me from trying to delete it again.
    I know I can swipe left on each song to delete it on my phone, and I have been, but that takes a long time when you're trying to delete everything on your iPhone.

    For SU01 role removal, you do not need S_USER_AGR with 02, and as you mentioned both authorizations available in production, if so trace should not show you the S_USER_AGR with 02 with RC=04.
    I would recommend to do role comparison for the user performing the activity. and then check if you have the S_USER_AGR with 02 in user buffer SU56.
    But ideally it should not ask you S_USER_AGR for 02 through SU01, so please take help of abaper to debug it.
    Also put trace in non-prd to see if S_USER_AGR is getting checked with 02 for removal through SU01.

    There are two ways that should work. When you are in the trash folder, you can swipe on the email in the list - left to right - and a red Delete button should pop up. Or you can select - Edit - at the top of the list of messages and then select the message and tap delete.
    Not sure exactly how this works - but if you have restrictions enabled - especially since you let your grandchild use the device - that may be restricting what you can do in the mail app. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions. If you have it set to on - turn it off or see if you have mail restricted.

    Hi - you can do what you want to do with AirPlay from your iPhone - but unfortunately it is not as easy as the people in the Apple store told you - your first problem is that you have a non Apple router - you cannot extend a non Apple router wirelessly with the Express - you can only join the network and connect an ethernet device to it - you can however connect via ethernet and have it create a wireless network of its' own - you can set this up from your iPhone or the XP - but this is a complicated setup and would involve many different discussion areas of this forum - therefore I would suggest that you use your 90 days of support and consult directly with Apple to do this - go to this link - http://www.apple.com/support/contact/

    Welcome to the Support Communities!
    The variable that has changed with iOS 7 is the "Show All Music" option in Settings > iTunes & App Store. This feature displays your iTunes in the Cloud purchases on your device (while they are not locally stored). You can identify these by the "cloud download" icon on the right.
    To hide your iTunes in the Cloud purchases, disable this feature in Settings > iTunes & App Store.

    I tried to delete music from my iPod but all the music is greyed out. The music library and playlist is not greyed out so I went into the playlist and checked all the ones' I wanted to delete.     Grey text when you look at the content and lock symbol at the bottom of the screen simply shows that your iPod is set to syncronise (automatically update) with iTunes. If you want to access your iPod directly, drag songs to it, play it through your iTunes, connect it to a second computer etc. you just need to change the update method to "Manually manage songs and videos" in the iPod Summary tab and click Apply. The text will change from grey to dark and the padlock will disappear: Managing content manually on iPod
    One thing to be aware of with manually updating is that the iPod also has to be manually ejected before the "Do Not Disconnect" message will go away. Safely disconnect iPod

    If you don't want to delete too much then you can do it directly on the iPad. You can either swipe across track names and you should get a delete button, or on the album or artist selection screens you can press and hold an album or artist and you should then get an 'x' on its top corner which will delete the album or artist if you tap it.
    If you want to delete more then it may be quicker to connect the iPad to your computer, and on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes under the iPad device you should see a Music section (if you don't see the content types listed then click the arrow next to the iPad's name) - select that and on the right-hand side you should see a list of the music that is on your iPad, and you can then select and delete them.
