I am updating iphoto 9.1 to 9.3 and every time when I clicked for update aps store asked to open it in the account where you purchased. I am using the same account and its available in the purchased item of this account. Can someone resolve this problem.

I am using the same account and its available in the purchased item of this account. But in my purchased item library it indicates that you update iPhoto. I am not sure which account the aps store asking. Can someone resolve this problem.

Oh ok, well that was what the test said prior to reformatting the hard drive. Now, it doesn't find any trouble no matter how many times I run it. That's what has me so confused, everything seems to check out and yet...I can't do anything, not even install the software!

Have you created a new account or updated your existing account ? All content that you download from the store is tied to the account that downloaded it, so if you have created a new account then all of your existing downloads will remain tied to your old account.
If you've updated your existing account then try tapping on the id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and log out of it and then log back in with the updated id so as to 'refresh' the account on it.

Your Apple ID and iCloud email address don't need to be the same, you can't change an iCloud email address.
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.
