You can duplicate the iPhoto library (command - D ) and delete everything except the project and its photos from the copy and move that

However the calendar takes very little space - it is simpy database entries - it is the photos in the calendar that take space - and for most people you would wnat to keep those photos in your library
you can use a photo in 50 calendars and it still is only one photo in your library - as I explained calenders do not exist as such - they are simply database entries telling iPhotop how to display the calendar - they take almost no space at all

Your PC should recognise the iPhone as a camera and you can simply treat it as one.

That may be a problem with the VLC plugin. VLC has never worked for me properly on the occasions that I've tried it on Windows and Linux, so I have stop using it. There are usually other plugins or media players available that work better.
What kind of media files are that?
For WMP files you can install the new Windows Media Player plugin you can also try RealPlayer and QuickTime if it is about media that those programs can handle to see if that works better.

I just looked into this as I was moving my iPad to a new computer for synching. With no thanks to Kobo for any really useful information on their help site (this discussion was the most useful info I found), I think the following may address your issue with respect to Kobo.
1. There is not easy or official way to back up Kobo books from your iPad.
2. Kobo keep track of your personal library. Go to the Kobo website (Kobo.com) and sign in to your account. On the very top line is "My Library". That contains (or at least Kobo says it does) everything you have ever bought from Kobo. Kobo say that you may download any of this content to other devices you own at no charge.
3. I synched my iPad to the new computer. According to Apple, that will delete all my data as the apps are re-installed from the new compute. While all my apps got moved around from the order I previously had (many thanks Apple), all my books are still there together with my bookmarks etc. Looks like this did nothing to change any Kobo data.
While I do not like the idea that I cannot create a backup on my main computer, it is probably safer in the long run that there is a backup at Kobo. After all, I could lose all my equipment in a fire or something, and then personal backups would be of little use.

perhaps you can get no answer, because it is not clearly said, what you want to do?- From which JDK 1.4 Fonts are you talking of?- What is meant by this?- The Font class or what else?- Do you want to replace one or more .class files of JDK 1.3 by one of JDK 1.4?
In general you are not allowed to replace parts of the packages or subpackages of "java", "javax" or "sun" or add or remove classes to resp. from them - you accepted this terms when you had downloaded the JDK - sure, it is possible, but you are not allowed to do so - it is illegal.

Thanks for the reply. When I created the 2 libraries years ago I would hold down the options key and had 2 library names to choose from. Now it just shows a lot of files when I do that, With over 7,000 songs I think I will just look for the few songs from the original library I used to use that still interest me, if they don't show up in my default current library. Thought there would be any easy was to integrate all my music files into one library. I am definitely not going to spend days manually doing this, but thanks again.

If you used the hard drive with another Mac then it is likely Mac formatted. It was because you posted in the iTunes for Windows forum (kind of the equivalent to taking a VW to a Ford dealership for service) I thought you might be using a Windows formatted drive.
Thumb drives are not universal. There isn't a "universal" drive format. Some work partly with both systems but are not fully compatible.
Click once on the hard drive icon on the desktop. Fo to File then Get Info. It will say the drive format.
Frankly I have never had your problem with a drive so I can't help too much except in general experience. The prohibitory sign is pretty universal and for some reason you are not allowed to copy to that drive.
I think if you had a Windows computer you'd be unhappy with it too and probably be posting on a forum that your machine was virus ridden and crashing and you didn't know anything about registries... To be honest, I was doing a presentation on a friend's Windows computer and wanted to get it to display a simple image file. If it's a one time sync you want to use Setup Assistant to migrate your data from the old machine to the new one. You can use the Lion Setup Assistant tips for help.
If you want to always keep them synced you have several alternatives. First is you can wait for iCloud which will be released this Fall according to Apple. You can find information about iCloud at www.apple.com/icloud. Several years ago I began using a tool called Synctogether which syncs Bookmarks, Calendars, Contacts, Widgets, Dock Items, Mail Accounts and Mail Signatures. You just check what you want synced, for example I do Bookmarks, Calendars and Contacts. This app sells for about $49 I think, however if I were you I'd wait for iCloud which will give you 5GB (which is a LOT) for free.

In Prelude 2014.0 we added a feature to let you choose which number to begin the incrementing from. Look in the Ingest Dialog Renaming section and edit your preset. When you click on the PLUS button you should see the option for "Custom Auto Increment". This will let you choose what number to start on. We also added some log to try to remember where Prelude left off with the last successful ingest operation using this option. So in theory, it should remember the next number for you. But if it doesn't (maybe you want to kick off multiple ingests simultaneously) you can always manually set the number to start with.

What is the easiest way to extract data in acrobat 8 professional and retain formatting?

We have landers that are now sending us lists with multiple social security numbers in a single pdf with multiple pages, before they used to break it up into which departments they go to, so I installed acrobat 8 pro on the users machines, now we need to get certain lines of data within that document and make a single document for different departments out of that 1 document, i tried the crop tool and made a document from cropped image but it pastes it in the corner extremely small for some reason, and I dont see how you can extract that data and bring it into either word or make it a seperate pdf document, because it dosent keep any of the formatting????

P.S. we at least need to be able to edit the original pdf and be able to remove the text out of it while retaining the formatting and then resave it so we can send throughout the company.

You might just try to do a save as DOC. The formatting may be lost, depending on how the PDF was made.

Local Printing of AR Invoices - What's the easiest way to set this up?

My organisation currently centralises all of its AR invoice printing. We would like to be able to allow our users the option of changing this default when they create a sales order so that if they want their invoice to print to their own local printer they can.
We have 2 output types:
1. Standard Output (Zin - invoice)
2. Attachment required (Zina - invoice with attachment)
we presently operate with only one sales organisation (1000) and one distribution channel.
I'd be interested in any solutions you can suggest.

I'm assuming that your 2Wire router is a 802.11g wireless router/gateway ... correct? If so, then using the 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn) would still be advantageous if you want to utilize it's 802.11n wireless capability with your computing devices that will support this format.
So the other question is is 802.11n ( b/g ) good to keep it on or would ( a ) Be better ?
That will depend on your network requirements. That is, do you have any 802.11a devices that you need to support? If not, then you will want to configure the AEBSn for "802.11n only (5 GHz)" radio mode to take advantage of providing the best performance for "n"-enabled clients.
and when it gets to this part for Select Bridge Mode or Share a single IP address using DHCP and NAT, what is better in my situation I have here, using the 2Wire router and this Airport Extreme.
One option is to establish a "Dual-Band" network configuration, where the 2Wire provides a 802.11g wireless network and the AEBSn provides a 802.11n one. In this configuration, you would configure the AEBSn as a bridge.
