Dvd Menu Adobe Premiere Elements 10 for Mac with bad resolution

Hi, I use a MacBookPro with Mac OS X 10.6.8 - Intel Core i5 2,4 GH - RAM 4 GB.
I just purchased PRE 10 version hoping to solve a problem I had with version 9 for Mac but not with a version 7 for Win.

My problem is that when I burn the dvd with the final work in PAL system, the menu of the DVD has the text very blurred at a very bad resolution.
I searched this forum and I didn't found a similar problem for Mac user.
I had the same problem with PRE 9.
Same problem if I insert a logo in the corner of the video. Very bad resolution image in the final dvd.
I tried to change the beginning resolution of the image from very low to very high and the result was the same.
Someone has similar problems? Someone did find a way to solve it?

This is the Project Preset chosen.
As the source is a JVC Everio with hard disk, I chose PAL - Hard Disk - Widescreen 48 KHz
The source is as I said a JVC Everio in SD size. I saved the files in a backup Hard Disk. They are .mod files.
I don't know how to see if a Menu Sets is HD or SD. I tried almost all the available Menu Sets always with the same blurry results.

Note that the firt image in the DVD Menu is perfect, not blurry. And this add a little bit of mystery :-)

The solution I use in these days to have goog results is very time expensive.
I make the editing work in my mac, without logo and menu. I make a dvd. Then I import the VIDEO_TS folder in my old pc, with my old version of Adobe Premiere 7.0. I insert the logo, I make the menu and then I make a dvd with my old PC and the resolution is the one I want.
Obviolusly I'd like to do all the work in my Mac...
The same problems and solution I used also with PRE 9.0
By the way, I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements in my Mac instead iMovie because I need to do videos longer than 2 hours. And iMovie has this limit.

Could an ipod touch work with two computers?

My PC dual boots between vista and XP.
the itunes libraries are slightly different, and i would like to save myself the trouble of moving my old library to vista. (re-linking every track, having things missing, all of that fun stuff) I would rather just sync it twice. Is that possible?

Well, you can't "sync it twice" as such, since the 2nd sync will overwrite the first. But your IPT will happily play nice with several computers so long as you set it to manually manage music and videos, and make sure sync applications is unchecked under the apps tab. I have mine set up this way and use it with my imac, macbook and the clunky old G4 Graphite I use in work.
Incidentally, if you fire up your PC in Vista, launch iTunes, open up the prefs and go to the advanced tab, you should be able to point your iTunes directly at the iTunes music folder on your XP partition by using the 'change' button, negating the need to move anything anywhere. Just remember to uncheck the 'keep itunes music organized' option.

I use Aperture 2.0 my mbp in the field and my imac at work. My problem is that I need an easy way to move the work on my mbp to to my imac. So far I can not find an easy way to do it, other then export and import, but that looses all of the stacking and work I have done.
Does anyone have any idea how i can accomplish this? I know that I can open the library, but I need to move photos from one library to the other.

a few ways to do this, Brian covered one of them, here's another...
what i do is travel with a 17"MBP plus an external (satellite) hard drive similar to this one -- OWC FW800, 16MB buffer cache, 7200RPM, 200GB or 320GB and create an Aperture Library on that external drive connected to MBP via FW800
when i return to my studio i can either export the projects to my main Aperture Library or connect the satellite external drive to my tower and double-click the Aperture Library to open

Note in particular the Mac models supported. The other thing that occurs to me is that in addition to being on the same network they would have to be within Bluetooth range of each other.

Two VGA monitors don't work with two different G4s, but both work with G3!

I recently acquired two used Power Mac G4s (one of them is a mirrored-door dual-processor that I got from school and was told should work, the other is a Gigabit Ethernet model, and should also work), from two completely different sources. They both turn on (I get a power-on light, I hear HDDs churning, and I get a power chime from one of them, and they react to the usual Mac stimuli, mouse and keyboard light up, reset button works, etc.) but I get *absolutely no video*. The monitor syncs for a second, like it gets a quick signal, then goes immediately back to the "CHECK SIGNAL CABLE" message.
I have tried them both with two generic PC VGA monitors (though they were both kind of old and crummy ones, they work on my G3 and other computers. I've tried the working PCI video card from my G3, that doesn't work, nor does swapping their video cards. They both have Apple-supplied ATI AGP video cards, both with Apple's proprietary ADC interface, though one has only DVI out (with a DVI to VGA adapter that came with it) and the other has a straight VGA port.
The weird thing is that, even though these computers have never, er, met before, they have the exact same problem. The only thing these things have in common is the monitor I'm using. This leads me to believe
The only thing left I can think of is to hook them straight from the DVI port to my HDTV, but I don't have a DVI cable, much less know ANYTHING about DVI. Could it be that these particular VGA monitors don't like AGP video cards, or some sort of weird incompatibility that isn't well known?

The software on the hard drives may be set for a video setting that won't work with your monitor. A few things to try (in order):
1) Reset PRAM. Hold down Cmd-Option-P-R when booting until you hear the third Boing.
2) Hold down Option when booting. Should show symbol of hard drive, plus a couple of arrows.
3) Boot from a CD (Install disk or, preferably, Hardware Test Disk).
4) Safe boot. Hold down "S" just after the boing. Release it when (if?) you see the turning gear.
If it is a scan rate problem, one of these should show some video.

Using PalmVx with two computers

I have been using a PalmVx with my Desktop computer (WIN XP Prof) and also with my laptop (WIN XP Prof). I recently formatted the HDD of my laptop and have re-installed my palmOne software ver 4.1.4 on my laptop. While installing the palmOne software in my laptop when asked for <User Name> I gave the same Username as in my desktop computer. So now my laptop indicates the identical Username as my desktop computer.
My desktop computer is connected to the palm cradle using a serial connection while my laptop is connected through a Serial-to-USB adaptor to a USB port on my laptop.
I need to have all my data in my PalmVx transferred to my laptop, so I set all the conduits in my laptop to "Handheld overwrites Desktop" and carried out a Hotsync.
The Hotsync dialog that comes up on the laptop shows a UserName <blank> instead of the Username that I set (similar to the desktop).
Please advise how I can get all my data currently on my desktop and in my handheld into my laptop?

Actually, there are several articles on the web about the fact that you CAN
synch the itunes with two computers. Music, Video, and Ringtones can be done from one computer, and Mail, Contacts, etc. can be done from a second computer.
Just do a Yahoo search on "synching iPhone with two computers."
If you are trying to do music from two computers, you are right, that will not work. There is a program, which I think the Yahoo search above will also uncover that allows you to do a "swap," where you can have the songs from one computer show up on the iPhone, and when you swap, the songs from the other computer show up. I am not sure if this utility survived the upgrage to version 2.0 of the softweare.

Using iPhone with two computers

Home PC - MacBook Pro
Work PC - Windows
both running iTunes 7.7
My music is on my home Mac and I manually create playlists, add music etc.
With my 3G Nano, I can connect and listen to songs on my iPod from my work PC. I can't seem to do this with my iPhone - my PC sees the iPhone but all of the music is greyed out and cannot be selected.
Is it a limitation of the iPhone that I cannot use it with two computers in this way, or is it a configuration issue?
I would prefer not to have to buy a set of external speakers just to use my iPhone to play music at work.

Mighty mouse with two computers

Is there a way to pair a Mighty Mouse with two computers and to them switch back and forth between them easily? I realize I could unpair from one and then pair with the other, but I’m trying to use a Mighty Mouse in lieu of a KVM switch with a wired mouse.

Yes and no. It all depends on the device, and I can't speak from experience when it comes to the Mighty Mouse, but I can speak from experience with other Bluetooth devices.
You can pair a device with multiple computers, but you cannot use it with multiple computers simultaneously. When switching, you'll have to tell your computer to disconnect from the mouse before the other computer can connect to it. Since we're talking about a mouse, reconnecting the mouse might be a little tricky, if you want to use only one. Perhaps adding something like an Optimus Mini Three (or similar HID) with an AppleScript attached to one of the buttons to trigger mouse reconnection could work.
There are software based solutions to your problem, enabling you to connect any HID (Human Input Device) to your computer, and then use a virtual KVM over the network. I've seen a few pieces of software like this in the Apple Downloads Database, but I don't know if they're free.

It keeps saying that I only have 2 devices setup, my iPad and my macbook pro. When I mess with the setting on my mac mini, it goes from saying that that is one of the devices to my macbook pro being the 2nd device. I think that something happened as a result of my using the migration assistant and now it thinks that my macbook pro and my mac mini are one and the same computer. Any ideas?

In going over this, thanks to "tallking it out" with you, I did discover the Text Edit problem. Because I've still been unable to get the new computer text size (fonts or whatever) to match the old computer, I did not notice that the curser is now different--the line midway down the curser has to be placed on the line I am working upon, otherwise the edits go elsewhere on the page. Now, with a bit of difficulty, I am able to get Text Edit to work correctly.
If you have any ideas as to why my menu bar and Text Edit type are still so slow, I'd love to have them.
(I went through the process you suggested earlier, re my Trackpad preferences, and found no improvement.)

What i am attempting to achieve is to work with at least two app at the same time. For example: select any picture from my albums to attach them in an email. Another example is get data from an app to use it with the calc app. And there are more exaples for it. And for sure I need support for an iPad air. I mencioned the other tablet just to try to be a bit clearer.
