No, you can easily migrate your entire library from one working compter to another.
If you fail to backup or migrate your library and find yourself with nothing but a new empty computer and a device full of content iTunes is designed to only recover the iTunes purchased content, however third party tools can help recover everything if needed.

Copy them the correct way.
Close iTunes on both computers.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder for the old computer to the new computer.
Open iTunes on the new computer. Everything in iTunes will be exactly as it was on the old computer.

If your phone is jailbroken, we can't help you, as already stated.
If you're new to this and you're trying to download apps to put on your phone and it is NOT jailbroken, you can't do that.
You must go through the iTunes app store.

My partner deleted, by accident my itunes library. I have an iMac 10.6.7, Itunes 10. I use an WD passport as an external back up and retrieved my itunes library but now get the message "could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" so itunes is not recognised the exclamation marked songs, how do i get the retrieved files recognised. You not only have to retrieve the library file from the backup drive but the actual music files (usually stored within the "iTunes Media" folder) as well.

I bought a new computer and can't sync my library to my iPod.

My computer crashed so I bought a new machine. I was able to load my library and also pull the files from my old hard drive. Now when I plug my iPod into the new computer, it recognizes it and says it's syncing, but when it's finished, the new files aren't on my iPod. - Is the computer authorized for the iTunes account(s) used on the iPod?
- Are you syncing or manually managing music?
- In iTunes if you go to Preferences and then go to the Devices tab, what date is show for the iPod backup? Is if before you switched computers?
- Your iPod sees the new computer as a new library/computer and you can only sync to one library. You need to restore you iPod from a backup. If that bacup is hosw in Preferences, restore from that backup.
- If the backup is after you switched computers, you have two options:
--- Try to make a backup by right clicking on the iPd under Devices in iTunes and selecting backup.
--- If you can't make a backu, can you get one from the backup of your old computer. It is located here and yu may have to have show hidden files turned on.

So I just bought a new laptop and few days ago. It's an HP. I have the iPhone 4 (8GB). So all my songs from iCloud are on my phone. I want to manually put them on my phone. All of my songs, videos, pictures etc. are on my new laptop. I went to apply the changes on iTunes when I selected "Manually manage music and videos". And a message came up saying "This iPhone is synced with another iTunes library on another PC. Do you want to choose to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?" Under that it says "Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
So what do I do? I don't want to click sync and loose everything on my phone. I will no longer use the other comuter. I really need help.

You should be able to copy iTunes purchased music from the phone via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases
If you still have your old computer and you haven't copied your library over form it, then there are also some methods listed on this page about how you could copy it over : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527 - the page refers to music, but I've used the home sharing method to copy apps, films etc between computers.

It sounds like you are trying to download a purchased album, but not all the tracks are listed as being purchased. If you still have the receipt that was emailed to you when you bought it, you can use it to report a problem with the purchase to the iTunes Store directly with this article:

That's a bummer, didn't realize the exHD files were corrupt, esp if you have tried from another PC and not just this new computer.

You can only sysc with one iTunes library. The new computer is a new library. You have to restore your iPod on the new conputer and then sync.

I don't see anything in Help that shows when you already have transfered all the files over. Why would it want to erase and sync when I already have all the music folder copied over? I didn't have an issue when I had another technician copy from one laptop to another. Home sharing is also on but not being recognized.

I suspect you only migrated the media folder instead of the complete working library. Either review the transfer process and copy over the entire iTunes folder from your old profile's music folder or see Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

New laptop and can't access my plans

Just bought a new laptop and I've downloaded creative cloud to re-install Premiere CC but it looks as if I haven't purchased the plan. Even when I log into the Adobe website it even claims I haven't purchased anything. Worth noting that the last payment was taken out of my account a few days ago and I would still be able to access it on my old laptop.

If you originally registered your product the serial number will be stored in your Adobe account. Click the red logo (top left on this web page) sign-in, and then click the Manage Account button. It should be possible to browse your purchase history. You are looking for a 24 digit number commencing 1o57.

Done that and computer is authorised. I click on play on one of the songs that transferred over annotated a 'not authorised to play' and when I click to play I get the 'not authorised' error message, go to authorise the computer and get the message 'already authorised', but still can't play the track. Ahhhhhhhhh!
