Have you tried a soft-reset to see if that fixes it ? You might be able to get warranty service in Egypt for your iPad, but the warranty includes :

As it's wifi-only you should have a better chance of it being serviced under warranty, but there are no guarantees, it might depend upon the repairer.

My ipad is locked and it tells me to update my icloud but the screen is not responding to my touch?
How do I get my screen unlocked so that I can update my ipad. The screen is not responding to my touch, instead it is telling me... " This ipad hasnt been backed up in 12 weeks. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked and connnected to wi-fi". Does this mean that I cant use this untill it is all done backing everything up? And how do I begin to use it since it says its locked?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
After it boots up again, you will be able to use the iPad. You should backup the iPad like the message is telling you to do. -
My laptop a macbook pro is my only connection with the outside world, I would like to be able if possible to watch or stream video content to my bigscreen tv as I easily can via the 1080 connection available on the two of them.
But I would like to be able to keep the video playing on the external TV screen and use the computer screen to view other content on the web simultainously is that macbook pro posterous or MB Propetually possible?

On the screen containing your menu bar, you should now see a Displays preference dialog box with an "Arrangement" tab in it. Click the Arrangement tab. Uncheck the box for "Mirror Displays," or make sure it is already unchecked. In the image within the preferences dialog box you should see two adjoining blue rectangles representing your two screens. A white bar on one representes the menu bar and indicates that that is the primary display. The larger rectangle represents your TV screen. If it's on the right side of the smaller rectangle representing your MBP's screen, then dragging a window off the right side of the built-in screen will move the window onto the TV.
Now open any application window — a web browser window, for example — and drag it by its title bar to move it off the edge of your built-in screen onto the TV screen. Got that? You can do the same thing with any other window, including a DVD Player or VLC window containing a movie that you want to watch.
Things to note: In this dual-display mode, which is called Extended Desktop mode, the menu bar and Dock will always appear on only one of the screens, and you can choose which one they appear on by dragging the white bar representing the menu bar from one rectangle to the other in the System Prefs > Displays > Arrangement tab. You can also set the resolutions of the two screens independently of each other. The highest available resolution on each screen will always provide the sharpest image. -

Login Window: Screen does not refresh correctly after waking 10.7.2 iMac and MacBook.
I have a client who brought to my attention that when we wakes his iMac and MacBook after the screen dims or sleeps at login screen, that sometimes the screen does not refresh correctly and you must use the cursor to basically "clear the screen." I have witnessed this myself and elimiated all third party products and this still happens. I am starting to believe that is is a bug in 10.7.2. Has anyone witnessed this or have any suggestions on how to remedy? Thank you.
Thanks lynque. It turns out I did need a keychain repair, but that didn't fix the problem. I probably should have done this earlier, but I ended up unplugging all peripherals (2 firewire + 3 USB) then powered up without issue.
So I shut down, plugged in one at a time, and ran into the problem again after plugging in an external hard drive (WD My Book Essential). I repaired with disk utility, but the problem remained.
I then rebuilt the partitions with Disk Warrior, and now everything seems to work.... -

I bought an iPad Air from the Virgin Mega Store in Saudi Arabia, Dhahran Mall. Unaware Face Time was not installed due to country regulations. I returned the product for a refund and after explaining the situation, I was neglected the refund, I was even willing to receive less than the amount paid for, that did not happen either. At the end of the day, I’m now stuck with an iPad Air without the use of Face time when I go home. I thought being an authorized dealer or as advertised as an Apple iStore for Apple, there would be the 14 day refund policy ??? Does anyone have any suggestions on this matter ?? ThanksAny iOS device officially sold in the KSA, which at minimum means a device sold by any authorized Apple reseller there, has by demand of that government had Facetime blocked at the hardware level. There is no way to activate it by any officially supported means.
