Did my new phone seriously just crash? What do I do now? I left it overnight with the white screen, thinking maybe it'll go away and needs time to upgrade. Woke up this morning, nope still white screen. Very disappointed with Apple. I was so excited to get my phone and can't even use it right now.
First turn the iPhone off and back on and see if it works. If that doesn't work then do a Reset by holding the Sleep / Wake Button (The Power Button) and the Home Button at the same time until the white Apple Logo appears, the release both Buttons and wait until a Full Reset occurs. The iPhone 6 should come back to your Lock-Screen. If that doesn't work then you could connect the iPhone 6 via the Lightning Cable to a Computer with a Current Version of iTunes. Then open iTunes on the Computer and wait until your see a Button that represents your attached iPhone and click on it. This should bring up a Summary Screen on the Computer within iTunes. At that point your can choose Update Software if an Update is available or Restore the iPhone to Factory Settings / New In The Box, or you could try to Restore from your Backup if a current Backup had already been saved from a previous iPhone.
If you don't have a computer with iTunes and you can get the iPhone back on, then go to Settings>General>Software Update and see if the iPhone is still on iOS 8.0 or if it is now on iOS 8.0.2

I am needing help please. I have bought a macbook pro (Last Nov. 2009) version 10.6. with a 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and I have 4 GB memory. I have been taking advantage of the macupdate software packages and I am not sure if new software is causing my problem. My computer has frozen lately when doing a few tasks at once. Most often when working with picture software. The most disturbing is when my computer goes to the screen saver which was one of the software products I purchased: My Living Desktop Scenes, the screen begins to flash red and only stops when I touch a key or other to take it out of the screen saver. I have had the living desktop software installed for weeks now and I have only had this problem start recently. The last package of software I bought was the Mac Graphoto 2 applications (Image framer, Sandvox, snapshot, sketch, layers, postern etc...). I have really only used image framer and postern so far. The problems seem to have begun after downloading some of this software. What should I do? I have five days before my 1 year warranty runs out. Do these software bundles cause more problems than they are worth or maybe have nothing to do with my problem?? Any help is appreciated.
P.s My computer also seemed to be slowing down whether working with applications or being on the internet, so I followed another threads suggestion on shutting the computer down and holding the power button for five seconds and then shutting down and holding the control, P and R buttons and this seems to have helped speed but not the flashing or freezing. Hope this is enough detail.I have a Mac Mini (2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3 memory) and I am also having the same issues with the red screen. No Living desktop on my desktop...just a solid red - sometimes flashing red screen....no sound at all....when I move the mouse to unlock the screen - the sound comes back briefly and the login window appears.
Any resolutions to this problem? Thanks in advance. -

Bought lots of music last night. Tried to sync my 5th generation nano.It's been saying something like, "step two, attempting to sync a***'s ipod for about 8 hours. It won't let me stop it. I can't disconnect at this time. Please help.I thought about using control. alt delete and stopping it. It says I will lose any unsaved data. The music appears to be in my library, so I should be safe, right? However even if that works and I can disconnect my ipod, why isn't it syncing? I have a 2nd one to sync as well. I am frustrated. Thanks you for replying planb77! My husband got home and told me to just disconnect the ipod. It had been at least 12 hours by then, The music was in my library but not on my ipod, He had me shut down, unplug my computer, take a rest from it and restart. I reset my ipod following instructions on the itunes site. I tried syncing again and was successful syncing both ipods. I really think it was great of you to take the time to help someone else.

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

While updating to iOS, it appeared that the download was progressing so I laid my phone down. Checked about a half hour later and I now have a continuously flashing red screen that alternates with the Apple screen. I can't power the device off nor use the home button. iTunes doesn't recognize the phone so can't sync or reload.

The troulbeshooting steps detailed below can help get your iPhone to successfully power on.
If a single application is not responding or stops responding when it opens, you can force it to close.
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:
If you are using an iPad, ensure that it's connected to the USB Power Adapter supplied with the device.
Let it charge for at least twenty minutes, then see if it starts normally.
If there is no image on the screen, press the Sleep/Wake button to attempt to wake the device.
If the screen displays a red battery icon, continue charging the device until the battery is fully charged. Learn more about charging iPhone and iPod touch, or iPad.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.

i downgrad my iphone from ios5 to ios 4.3.3 and after restoring the ios 4.3.3 i fixed all itunes error but after that my i phone screen turned off and the apple logo didnt shows up any more what ever i did my iphone model 4 gsm and fyi i try all the ways to turn it on but it didnt sucsses

My suggestion would be to do the following:
-Press and hold the power button and home button for the time needed until the screen turns black and the apple logo reappears.
If that does not work, call the nearest Apple store and ask for assistance.

Hi i have a white screen problem with my macbookpro mid2009 15".I installed a ifixit battery and i think it screwed up one owc ssd drive.I just installed a new one and at 13min battery left it shut down and then all i got was a white screen...I tried every feasible command and all i got was some more white lol.I dont have my tools to open the case right now but do you guys think my cpu board is done?

you have a 13-inch Mid 2012 MacBook Pro. It’s modern enough that it supports booting into Recovery mode. To do so, hold down a Command key and the R key as you start up. It should eventually show a Mac OS X Utilities menu. Select Disk Utility from that menu; when the Disk Utility window appears, select the bootable volume from the left-hand side of the window. (It’s typically called “Macintosh HD”.) When the volume is selected, some buttons will appear on the right-hand side. If it’s not greyed out, press the Verify Disk button; if it is greyed out, or if it reports on errors that it found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu; that will restart your MacBook Pro in its normal mode. With luck, that will be enough to get you to your normal login screen, rather than the white screen. -
