I bought my iPhone 4 from Singapore and I am now in India (Bengaluru)., I have International warranty available but cant get it done in here. How do I get my iPhone work well again?

I still have the purchased receipt with me. Its not yet a year since I bought the phone. Its upsetting to know I cant get the phone serviced in India (Bengaluru).
The phone makes an irritating noise on calls, especially if its a long call. Kindly suggest. Its ridiculous to mail the phone to a store in a different country for it to be serviced. Why cant I get it serviced when the warranty is still available.

The iPhone warranty is based in the original country of purchase. So you will either have to find a local repair shop and pay to get it fixed, or you will need to ship the phone to someone you know in Singapore and have them take it in for service and then they will need to ship the phone back to you. This will also be at your expense.
If you search this forum, in the upper right where it says More Like This, you will see MANY folks who have bought in another country and cannot get service locally.

They will be gone from the iphone, but you should be syning all contacts to your computer regularly and should be importing all pics to your computer regularly, particularly before any update.
Have you failed to do this?

Try rebooting your iPad and see if they reappear.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If they still do not show up, make sure hat you don't have content restrictions set that could prevent certain apps from showing up on your iPad. Settings>General>RestrictionsAllowed Content.
if you still don't see them, connect your iPad to iTunes on your computer and you should see them in the iPad mini screens on the right side of iTunes after the iPad has been selected under "devices" and when you are in the apps pane of iTunes.

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app) on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

Nothing has been deleted.
The Library folder is just hidden now. Hold down the Option key while clicking on Go in the Finder's menu and you'll see that you can open the Library folder.
Once opened, drag the folder to the Finder's sidebar, so that you open it more easily next time.

The apps that you had will be listed in your purchase history if you login to your account in iTunes on your computer - the list isn't very user friendly though as it's listed by date order and will include all app updates that you've downloaded (so an app will appear multiple times if you've downloaded it's updates). You can re-download apps, though it's a manual process as you need to find them yourself in the app store : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 .
If the apps are in your iTunes library then the restore might work - a backup contains app data/settings, but not the app itself, so without the app available to it the restore can't install the app and therefore it's content.

The ipod is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to ipod. The exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.

The warranty is not international and only available in the Country of purchase .If the iPhone is out of warranty Apple or their Agents will also only give service in the country of original purchase.
So if you want Apple help you will have to return it to Singapore or find a 3rd party to repair it if they can in India as long as it is out of warranty and you understand that Apple would never help with that device in future if it has been opened by a 3rd party

The iPhone warranty has never been International.
Take the iPhone back to the country of origin or mail it to someone you know there and have them take it in for service.

I have a brand new iphone 4s unlocked version from singapore and I am experiencing constant network fluctuations on my iphone , no service, call failed, invalid sim, sim failure, bars fluctuating from 5 - 3 - 2 - 1, no signal/bars searching etc... Ifeel miserable after trying out all the options changed multiple sims, tried multiple carriers, restored the phone back and have set-up as new device but the problem does not get solved... its is so frustrating that after investing on a world's most expensive phone you cannot enjoy the calling features which the phone offers which is the main thing you own the phone for.. Rest of the things are working.. The funniest part I am not able to make calls or receive calls but can access the internet.. I have tried every possible thing and really very frustrated with this iphone of mine...I hope the problem gets solved.. would anyone have any solutions to this problem.. Does it mean one should never update software as I hear that after updating to IOS.5.1 the problem has started coming and same has been with there.... Apple says its a hardware failure which is very difficult to digest as sometimes I get 5 bars and able to make and receive calls but 95% of the time I am unable to. All photos transferred from your computer are stored in the iPhone's Photo Library regardless if you select a single album or folder of photos to be transferred or multiple albums or folders. The photos on the albums or folders of photos include a pointer to the original photos stored in the Photo Library. The photos are not duplicated taking up double the storage space. This way you can view the photos in an album or folder of photos only by selecting the album or folder, or all photos in all albums or folders by selecting Photo Library.
Makes more sense when transferring multiple albums or folders of photos which cannot be changed when transferring only a single album or folder of photos.
The same applies with iTunes and music playlists. A song can't be in a playlist unless it is in the main iTunes library. Placing a song in a playlist does not duplicate the song.

The warranty is not and has never been International. Warranty and support are only valid in the country of origin. The only exception is for devices sold in the EU where the EU is treated as one country for warranty and support purposes.
