I bought some alerts last year, can't find them under purchased. Any ideas?

They were downloaded onto my iphone, I have now upgraded and they haven't come across.
I've looked under purchases and can't find them, however when I tried to re-buy them itunes said you have already purchased these, so its still stored somewhere?!

To unhide your purchases
Open iTunes on your Mac or PC.
If you're not already signed in, choose Store > Sign in.
Choose Store > View My Account. (You may be asked to enter your password again).
On your Account Information summary, scroll down to the "iTunes in the Cloud" section and click Manage.
Choose a content type by clicking Music, TV shows, Apps, or Books from the top.
Click the Unhide button next to the item you would like to restore.
If they are not hidden they may have been purchased on a different apple id.

Did you try removing and reinstalling all the Apple software using:

I downloaded some podcasts, but I can't find them. Where are they?

I just downloaded 17 podcasts episodes. The iTunes confirms that they're in the iPhone (4S), but I can't find them.
I already looked in the "Music" section, "More", etc. But the "Podcasts" item it's no there. Neither in the "Video" section.
Do I need an app to make they work?

They are no longer supported in the Music app. You need to download the Podcast app from the App store. It is free.

I'm trying to find my bookmarks.plst and can't find it anywhere. Any ideas?

So, I upgraded our OS and then upgraded the HD. I forgot somehow to transfer the bookmarks from my husbands user account. Now, I can't find them on the old disc. They are not in the library and there is no bookmarks.plst. Did lion change where they are stored? Hubby's getting stressed - I need to find them. HELP!

It's in your user's Library folder which Apple hides. To get to it go to the Desktop, hold the Option key down and then goto the Go menu -> Library. In the Safari folder you should see your Bookmarks.plist.

Just bought some domaine names, but can't see them. they are redirected. best guess it is something embedded in firefox. i can't see anything though. help!

I bought some domain names from Godaddy. when i type the name into my firefox address line, instead of going to the parking page at godaddy, where it should go, it gets redirected to searchpagefix and there is a message on the side that says looksafe has blocked a hijacking page, etc.. i've spent hours on the phone with godaddy. they say the problem is not on their end. they see my domain name (peter-maloney.com) on their parking page. i spent hours on the phone with Norton support, my security software. They ran tests and diagnostics and found nothing. I downloaded ad-aware and ran that, nothing. I looked for looksafe to uninstall, etc. and it doesn't show up anywhere on my windows 7 machine. any suggestions? did this looksafe thing somehow get embedded in firefox? do i need to reinstall firefox? would i lose all my favorites?

Bad redirects can result from a variety of causes, including (1) system level malware, (2) system level settings changes, (3) bad Firefox add-on, (4) Firefox settings changes, (5) other (depending on the nature of the redirect).
Here's what I suggest for tracking it down:
(1) Open the Windows '''Control Panel''', Uninstall a Program. After the list loads, click the "Installed on" column heading to group the infections, I mean, additions, by date. This can help in smoking out undisclosed bundle items that snuck in with some software you agreed to install. Take out as much trash as possible here.
(2) Then, in Firefox, open the '''Add-ons page''' using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. Set nonessential and unrecognized plugins to "Never Activate".
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable (or Remove, if possible) unrecognized and unwanted extensions.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
(3) Check your '''Firefox connection setting''' in the Options dialog here:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > Network mini-tab > "Settings" button
The default of "Use system proxy settings" should piggyback on your Windows/IE "LAN" connection settings, but you also can try "No Proxy" to see whether that works better.
(4) Search for remaining issues with the '''scanning/cleaning tools''' listed in our support article: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]].

If the problem persists after you reboot as suggested by Ralph:
Trouble connecting usually means interference, or another WiFi on the same channel.
If you have any cordless phones, keyboards, or cameras, check what frequency they use.
From a MAC or Windows machine you can see what channel each of the available networks are using. Make sure your network is on a channel nobody else nearby is also using.

Can't find assembly System? Any idea what this is about?

I have been troubleshooting this all morning. It is a simple extension function that appears to error unable to find system.dll. This is .net 4.0 / OPA 10.3 and the error makes no sense. Can another pair of eyes look at this and try to figure out why the error is occurring?

The System.Text.RegularExpressions namespace only exists in the .NET 4 framework. What application are you running? Oracle Policy Modeling 10.3 is a .NET 2 application, so it will load the Determinations Engine into the .NET 2 framework, not the .NET 4 framework.

If you do get an iLife 11 disk and install iPhoto it will be v9.0. You can run v9.4.3 so you'll need to use the following updaters to get to it:

I bought macbook pro last year July and i had lot of issue and problems start just after 2 months of my purchase
apple care re-install OS 4-5 times, replace RAM 3 times and they replace Kernel Logic Board 2 times but still my laptop is not working it's hanged and sometime it response very late (seems hang for fer seconds) the funny thing is when i check all repair cost it's almost 70% of new MacBook Pro. I really don;t know why they not give me new unit. Can some please tell me what is the return policy of apple because i really ****** off every week i went to apple store to solve the same issue and when i said i am not satisfied with this unit i want another new laptop then store manager said we can't give you new unit we can repair it.
This is my first apple laptop and i really not like it.
