After upgrading my Firefox on 3.01.2012 I can no longer access listing variations or change prices on these Ebay listings. Other edits within the site seem unaffected.

Well, just imported all of my settings into Google Chrome. Been nice knowing you Firefox.

Having the email address is not necessary. It is just the username for the device. All you need is that Apple ID and password. Now, if you forgotten the password, then you have more work to do. Since that email is no longer active, you would need to send the reset to your rescue email, if you remember that. Or you will need to contact Apple Security for help. That is the way it works. It designed to do that.
In addition to everything else you have to this other person's computer you would have to move your complete iTunes library over also. Only then will it recognize youriTouch.

Can no longer print to shared windows printer after leopard upgrade

Hi guys,
I know this is a topic that has come up before, and I have gone through the support forums trying to resolve this on my own, but I am at a roadblock. Printing used to work on Tiger, and now it doesn't, and I simply don't know how to debug the problem any further. Hopefully someone here can help me help myself... In the meantime because of this issue, and several others, I've had to "downgrade" back to Tiger.
Here are the "facts".
1. I have a Epson Stylus R300 printer.
2. Printer is connected to windows XP box.
3. Said xp box is on network at 192.168.1.101
4. Mac ip is 192.168.1.102
5. Windows workgroup name is sutter_wg
6. shared printer name is stylus_pc
I have added the advanced tab to the add printer dialog and thus have access to directly putting the address of the printer. I don't really understand samba - I was only able to get it to work on Tiger by reading through the support forums. I have not been as successful with the Leopard support forums. I'm doing the following from memory as I'm not currently at my mac... anyway, this is the address I used to "add" the printer.

smb://192.168.1.101/sutterwg/styluspc
When I go to print, it is placed in the print queue and nothing happens. No error message, and no print. Looking at the print queue, it's in the stop state. But I don't get any information on why it went to stop that I can use to debug. Did it not resolve the ip? Was there some kind of permissions problem? Is there a printer driver incompatibility? I don't know. I don't know how to find out.
So here's what I've done so far from a debug point of view.
1. I've proved that I can connect to the windows box in Leopard via the "go to server" option in Finder.
2. I've connected the stylus to the mac directly and printed from there. No problems. Interestingly though, it's a different printer driver. When I connect the printer up directly, the printer driver is for Epson Stylus R300, my exact printer. However when I add the printer via the network, the best I can do is a generic "epson stylus" printer driver. I went to epson web page to download the latest driver, and they only have drivers for 10.4. No 10.5. Apparently Leopard has a 10.5 driver built in since it used it when I connected directly, but that driver does not appear to be available when I add the printer via the network. What gives?
So that's where I'm at. If anyone has any help to offer, I'd much appreciate it.

Can no longer access folders on my network. The folder can't be opened because you don't have permission to see its contents.

Every since I nstalled maverick I have not been able to open folders through my home network. A dialoge box says

Now the strange part is I can open files if I use photoshop or illustrator to access them but I need to access all files not just select ones using a program.I have many shared folders on my network for everyone to access work files, none of them are working. I have an old iCloud ID I can no longer access. I do not know the password to delte it. I can no longer access the email account. Help please.

If Settings>iCloud shows and older iCloud ID (email address) as a result of updating to iOS 7, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

hello Sasco9000, first please make sure that the date, time & timezone are set correctly on your system. if this doesn't solve the issue (or it is already set properly), a possible solution depends on different factors:
* what security software are you using?
* what is the '''error code''' shown under ''technical details'' on the error page?
in case the error code equals ''sec_error_unknown_issuer'', please attempt to add an exception on the bottom of the error page - don't add it for real, but inspect the certificate (see the screenshot attached for instructions):
* which '''issuer information''' does the certificate contain?

I can no longer record video on my iPad since the upgrade!

I went to record something on video this morning, and tapped "video" on my screen, and it did nothing. Can't seem to activate the record video button since the last upgrade of 07!

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. How do I re-authorize a computer to play my iTunes music if I can no longer access the apple ID under which it was recorded?

I had an apple ID for my daughter, linked to a hotmail account which we can no longer access. My daughter has forgotten the password to that account. I am unable to play music that was purchased with that iTunes account. Apple incorrectly tells me that the date of birth is incorrect for the account, so I am unable to reset the password.

Are you using Apple Mail or MS Office Outlook for your email program? It has been a know issue for some time now that MS Office 2011 Outlook does not sync contacts with Apple's Address Book. This was true under Snow Leopard as well as in Lion. It worked well when I had Entourage (MS Office 2008) in Snow Leopard but once I switched to Outlook 2011, the sync stopped.
Did you just start using Outlook 2011 or has this happened after you move to Lion? Perhaps you could import your Entourage contacts into Outlook 2011?

Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later. Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid. You will be using your original AppleID and password. that works for any computer you own now or in the future. Do not make a new appleID.

Are you trying to download them from your purchased list? If so, make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID you used to purchase them in Settings>iTunes & App Store, and that the apps are still available for purchase in the App store. Then you should be able to download them as explained here: Download past purchases.

I haven't been able to access the iTunes store for almost a year, having been knocked out after downloading an iTunes update. With the most recent update, I can no longer access radio broadcasts as well.

To solve the iTunes store problem, I have tried the suggestions suggested by Apple on the website to no avail. Since downloading the last iTunes update, I can no longer access radio broadcasts. It tries to connect to tuning service, but the refreshing catagory list notice never stops and connection is never made. No store connection and no classical radio connection--What will I loose with the next update? I'm not a computer person and don'y know what to do! Help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

TimeMachine Confused: Can no longer access my external hard disk

Suddenly this morning after 3 days of use time machine can no longer access my external USB 2.0 disk. It states failed to access disk. Although I can access the disk fine via the finder. In the preferences I try to reselect the disk but its not listed. I tried rebooting and it still can't see my usb disk, although again the finder can access it fine.
HELP!

Before the fix, Disk Utility showed my USB drive partition as Mac OS Extended (Journaled), but it showed the volume still as FAT32.
I certainly don't know if this was the problem, but my drive would only randomly work with TM or the Finder. After the fix, at least for the last 12 hours, the drive has worked correctly with both.
