I can not open i photo. it needs a library that i can use to import photos but i created already books, slide shows and had over 6.000 pictures in the librarybut i can

i photo does not open. It says i photo needs a photo library but I had more that 6.000 pictures in my library. I created already books and slide shows. it seems everthing is gone.
I get as reply
- select a library from list -- but no list
or
- find another library
or
- create a new one and import photos later
any chance te recuperate  or  find all I had in i photo

You can try and recover deleted files from your Mac with an app like File Salvage
To create a new Library:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'.By default it goes in your Pictures Folder.
To save book etc that you have created you need to back up your Library.
Most Simple Back Up
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex:
Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically. Examples of such apps: Chronosync or DejaVu . But are many others. Search on MacUpdate
Also, please don't type in block capitals. They are hard to read and on the forum it looks like you'e shouting at everybody.
